Milan was tied up, hanging upside down with his hands bound behind his back. He was bleeding from his head and struggled to open his eyes, his vision blurry. As his sight slowly returned, he found himself in a butcher's kitchen basement, surrounded by blood and dead bodies. When he looked his left side he saw Four people hanging like him and his right side he saw Scarlet hanging. He was shocked.
"Hey, Scarlet, wake up," he said, trying to rouse her.
Scarlet slowly opened her eyes, shocked and disoriented.
"What's going on? Where am I?" she asked.
"I don't know. I thought I left you securing the area. What happened?" Milan replied.
Scarlet's memory kicked in.
"I came back for you and noticed you were gone.
"How did you find me?"
"You walk and forget to cover your tracks, they are easy to find. That doesn't matter right now we have to get out of here"
"That's the problem, they have taken my gear all of it."
"Yeah mine too"
A woman behind them coughed, drawing their attention.
"Others are alive too," Scarlet said.
Scarlet and Milan looked at her, and she warned them about the danger they were in. "You guys think you can get out of this place? It's worthless. You can't untie these ropes, and even if you do, it's hard to make it out there. The bastard is very strong; he can take you both in a second."
Milan was shocked.
"So he is strong?"
"How long have you been in here?" Scarlet asked her.
"Long enough to know their every move, their feeding time and everything"
"Okay, what do they eat?" Milan asked her. Suddenly they all heard footsteps approaching from far.
"You're about to find out, make sure you pretend to be out, if he sees you awake he will take you instead, be quiet and look careful" the woman spoke while closing her eyes and stayed quiet. Scarlet and Milan did the same as they were quiet and watching.
A muscled man walked inside, he was very big. He walked carrying a big butchering knife. Milan and Scarlet were quiet watching.
The man started the fire, as he walks by taking some onions and cutting them into small pieces. Then he places on a grilling tray. After he walks where he hangs the human.
He walked straight to Scarlet and started sniffing her, Milan was seeing that. He wanted to take her but another man beside that woman was coughing, he was awake and started making noise. That man released Scarlet and walked to that man. He punches him hardly on the head the man fainted again. He started untying him and took him to the table.
As he took his big knife and started butchering him, from his legs and arms apart. Milan and Scarlet were shocked. Seeing everything. He cuts down one of his fingers and absorbs his blood. Then he threw it away. He took the remaining body and places it to the grilling tray. As he pure salt and took it in the fire to be grilled.
Milan and Scarlet were shocked, watching in horror. The man sat down and waited 30 minutes for the meat to be grilled.
After he stood up and took it out, it was a nice cooked meat. He took his knife and left walking back.
Milan and Scarlet fully opened their eyes.
"These people eat humans?" Milan. Asks
Raven's expression was grim.
"They're not people, not vampires... they're something else, far worse than vampires. When they took us in, we were 7 people and now we have remained 3 besides from you 2."
"How did they took you?" Scarlet asked
"We were passing by, one of our people was badly injured, we saw a pharmacy and walked inside. Trying to find some painkillers then we saw this girl standing at the corridor staring right at us. She ran we ran after her trying to help her. But it was trap, we walked inside the room filled with poisonous air. We started falling one by one and we woke up here, they killed the others and the last one was out." Scarlet started shaking trying to figure a way of untying herself.
"What are you doing?" Milan asked her.
Scarlet was determined. "I can't wait here to be grilled and become someone's meat."
"I told you there's no way out of here, look closely, up on top of the rope they tired you, there's another rope heading straight to where they are. Once you free yourself from these ropes, the other ropes triggers the alarm, and they will he in a matter of seconds. You won't last a minute before they slay your head off"
The woman was telling them.
"Sorry I didn't catch your name, who did you say were again?" Milan asked
"Raven that's my name"
"Okay Raven what time before he gets back to take another one?"
"He usually comes in every 3 hours" Scarlet and Milan were surprised.
Scarlet and Milan were horrified.
"How many do you think are there?" Scarlet asked Raven.
"They are a family, The big man who just came is a father, there's a mother with a witchy laugh, she always stays away from here, there's a small girl playing innocent and trap people. Believe you already met her, then there are these twins brothers, they are like dogs sniffing, ruthless and very strong. They walk like a god, eat like a dog and hunt like a dog. They're chained up together and released to chase anybody who attempts to run. You better hope they don't catch you because if they do, they rip you apart roughly and eat you up flesh."
"Thank you for the information Raven, seems like a strong butcher family, but they have messed with the wrong woman. It's time to put an end to this shit once and for all" Scarlet spoke while bending up as she reached her knees and started untying herself. She managed to set herself free while hardly holding both ropes at once, she combined them together and tied them together with Milan's ropes.
"What the hell are you doing?" Milan was shocked.
"Trust me" Scarlet spoke she walks by the dead bodies and took two of them. She carried them back to where others were hanged. She took the rope she was once tired and hang the body. She released Milan and did the same. The trigger rope seems fine. Milan went to carry another body walks to Raven.
"Do you know how to fight?" Milan asked her Raven smiled.
"Just release me from here and I will show you" Milan untied her and hang the body too.
"We don't have any weapons with us, how can we fight them?" Milan asked. As they looked the whole kitchen they didn't see any knives.
"What now?" Milan asked Scarlet got ready Raven walked to them while tightening her shoes.
"We have to fight manually without weapons" Raven says. They started walking getting out of the kitchen. They saw a dark long tunnel ahead.
"You gotta be kidding me?!" Milan spoke.
They started walking. As they walked they saw three ways. The straight leads up to the stairs where they came, the left leads to the room where the butcher family having their meals. And the next leads to where they kept the twins. The big guy showed up with a plate on his hand heading to the twins.
"Hey Big Guy!" Scarlet shouted. The big man stares at them.
"Did you have to shout that loud" Milan spoke.
Scarlet smiles at the big guy.
"I'm gonna take your head you bastard" Scarlet spoke, the woman from the butcher's family showed up with the baby girl. The same girl she was holding a teddy bear. Milan saw that he got very angry.
"Hey hey!!!" He started running heading to them without hesitation. As he changed completely once he saw the teddy bear.
"Milan wait" Scarlet was trying to call him but Milan wasn't listening he changed completely. The big guy took out his butchering knife and started to run towards Milan holding it. The girl ran off inside the twin room.
"We gotta go now!" Scarlet told Raven as they started running going to help Milan.
Milan reached the big guy, his threw a knife at him trying to take his head. Milan slides down hardly and avoided the knife while kept on running towards the girl. Big guy wanted to run after him Scarlet and Raven reached him as they both kicked him on the chest. The big guy stepped back a little, Scarlet and Raven fell down hardly on the ground.
"Ouch, what the fuck is this guy made off" Scarlet shouted.
"Watch out" Raven shouted they saw a knife heading towards them they both avoided it and took their sides. Raven was on left and Scarlet was on right. They kept on fighting him.
"How the hell are gonna win this guy, I don't see any weak spots" Raven shouted while receiving a huge kick on her chest, she fell down hitting herself with a wall.
"We have to go through his head, my father used to tell me all people have a weak spot on their heads" Scarlet shouted as she was about to be slaughtered she avoided the knife while climbing on the big man's hand heading towards his head, she prepared to hit him real hard but the big guy saw her, he stepped back and hold her in the air while hitting her hardly on the wall. The was a piece of broken glass on the wall. Scarlet hit herself with it and stabbed herself real hard.
"Scarlet" Raven stood up going to her, The big guy threw Scarlet to Raven and hit them both. They fell down again.
Milan reached the twins room he saw the witch lady standing with her daughter behind the twins. The witch was holding the chains, she started her witchy laugh while releasing the twins. They were ruthless barking like dogs as they started chasing Milan.
Milan saw a small piece of wood beside him he slides down avoiding them while taking a piece of wood and stabbed one of the twins stomach real hard. The twin's stomach was cut as he was bleeding so hard while dropping the lungs and livers down. Milan was angrily standing staring at the kid with the teddy bear.
The other twin turned around jumping heading towards him Milan hardly hold him on the air and started choking him real hard until he crushed his neck. Milan became so strong in a matter of seconds. The witch woman wanted to scream Milan threw a piece of sharpened wood and stabbed her throat. The woman knelt down, Milan walked to him and finished her off by removing her head. As he walked to the kid very angry. The girl was staring at him while roaring like an animal. Milan started shedding tears.
"I'm sorry kid, you are lost" He spoke while slaying her head off with his piece of wood. He
retrieved his teddy bear and their gear, ready to face whatever came next
