Chapter 41 - Chapter 41: The Cursed Messenger

When Siya woke up at dawn, she found George staring at her again.

She was already fed up with his behavior. Sitting up, she glanced down at him.

George smirked and asked, "Your eyes are healed now, yet you're still ignoring me?"

Unable to hold it in any longer, Siya snapped,

"Have you lost your mind? Why do you keep staring at me like that? Or did you hit your head somewhere? Say it clearly so I know how to react."

That familiar smile returned to George's face.

"What's the hurry? You haven't even seen my madness yet."

Siya broke down.

"I've already seen enough of your madness. And if you stick around me again, I swear I'll do something so terrible that you'll remember me for the rest of your life."

George teased her again,

"Oh, I was planning to remember you anyway."

Siya's anger reached the skies—but suddenly, fragments of visions flashed before her eyes. The same dark shadow… the same man… the one who had attacked her the previous night.

Without another word, Siya rushed off to find the place where she had seen him. A river. A quiet, peaceful land.

She searched desperately when George called out,

"What happened? Why are you running like this? Did you see something?"

"There was a man," Siya said breathlessly. "Near a river… a silent place. We have to find him. Today, for sure."

Then she felt it again—someone watching them.

In the blink of an eye, arrows rained down from every direction.

Siya's agility was remarkable. She dodged every strike with lightning speed, retaliating precisely toward the source of each arrow. And then—she saw him.

Hidden behind the trees. Watching them.

Ignoring the arrows, Siya chased after him. The man ran as if Siya herself were death chasing him. She quickly realized that if she kept pursuing him, he would escape again.

So she chose another path.

She pretended to be injured—collapsed—unconscious.

Behind her, George came running.

That idiot… don't ruin my plan, she thought.

But the man noticed George approaching. Before George could reach her, the stranger grabbed Siya—and vanished.

Panic gripped George. Where would he find her now?

Slowly, Siya opened her eyes.

She was inside a cave. Chained in one corner.

She looked around—the man was nowhere to be seen. Then she noticed him at a distance, doing something… cooking, perhaps. She couldn't see his face.

A faint sound escaped her.

The man glanced her way—but before he could confirm anything, Siya shut her eyes again. He came closer, checked if she was awake, then returned to his work.

What should I do now to make him help me? she thought.

When she opened her eyes again, the man stood before her.

She froze.

Half of his face was completely burned. His body was covered with scars and wounds.

"You made a mistake, child," he said coldly.

"You walked straight into death."

Unaware that Siya had already freed herself from the enchanted chains, he turned away.

She stood silently behind him.

The moment he turned back, it felt as though his soul left his body.

"H–How did you break free from the enchanted chains?" he stammered.

"Who are you? What do you want from me?"

"I'm not your enemy," Siya said calmly.

"And I won't harm you. I need your help. Help me—and if you wish, I'll help you return."

"How can I trust you?" he asked.

"How do I know you won't hurt me?"

"If I wanted to kill you," Siya replied, "you wouldn't even have time to speak. I came here because you are my last hope. Make a deal with me. Help me—and I'll grant you freedom."

She studied him.

"You look like someone hiding from the world… hiding from something terrible.""What help do you need?" he finally asked.

"My friend," Siya said. "A dark force has taken control of him."

She placed her hand on his head and showed him Man's condition.

Shock crossed his face.

"A powerful curse of vengeance," he murmured.

"Only a supreme dark sorcerer—or a demon—could do this. His body is a structure of flesh and metal. The soul trapped inside can no longer think—only hunger, only destruction."

He looked at Siya in disbelief.

"It's a miracle his body hasn't decayed. His soul is still there… imprisoned. The dark soul controls him."He's no ordinary child," Siya said softly.

"He possesses limitless power. Like me. A Mystic Soul."

The man bowed his head.

"Are you… Siya?"

"Yes," Siya said."I was once a messenger of Hell," he confessed.

"I guided sinful souls to their punishment. But I failed once. A soul corrupted by forbidden rituals escaped—and cursed me."

His voice trembled.

"That soul destroyed an entire village. The gods banished me to Earth. The curse follows me wherever I go—only death surrounds me."

He filled the island with venomous snakes so no one would come near.

"I attacked you last night to scare you away," he admitted.

"But you survived. That's when I knew—you were not ordinary."

"You know about me," Siya said.

"How could I not?" he replied.

"You were beloved by the Supreme. Every realm knows your name."

"I need to save Man," Siya said.

"And only you can help me."

The messenger smiled gently.

"The solution already lies with you."

"The Sanjeevani herb," he continued.

"Infused with your energy—it will destroy the dark force, while Man remains unharmed."

Relief flooded Siya.

She promised him freedom from his curse.

Just then, George appeared, panting.

"Are you okay? How did you faint? Step aside—I'll finish him right now!"

Siya stopped him and explained everything.

"There's one task left," she said.

"To erase a curse from its roots."

She called out,

"Come forth… Tantraya."

Darkness awakened.

"Who dares summon me?" the voice roared.

Siya stood tall.

"Your arrogance blinded you. Your end stands before you."

The battle shook the land.

The dark force was ancient—powerful—but when Siya chanted ॐ, it began to fade.

Distracted, it attacked the messenger—then struck Siya.

She almost vanished.

But she saw George—and stopped.

George stepped forward.

His counterattack was brutal… merciless.

The darkness dissolved into nothingness.

Gone.

The messenger was finally free. Before leaving, he looked at George—strangely familiar.

Siya noticed.

With no time to waste, she teleported them back.

Ali, Andy, and Clara rushed toward her in relief.

"The Sanjeevani is ready," Andy said.

Siya nodded.

"Let me save Man first. Don't disturb my meditation."

As she prepared the medicine, tension filled the air outside.

Anger. Suspicion. Silence.

Everything was about to be revealed.

Would Man survive?

Would George's secret come to light?

And would Siya finally find the answers she had been searching for?
