Siya didn't have time to mourn quietly. In her world, grief never waited its turn.
She had just begun to accept George's absence when another disturbance tore through her fragile calm. The words find him still echoed inside her mind, clinging to her thoughts like a curse she couldn't shake off.
Her eyes snapped open at the sound of a voice.
"Siya, you're awake?"
It was Andy.
He sat beside her, his expression careful, almost afraid to push her further. "Eat something. You'll feel better."
Siya shook her head slowly. Her voice came out hollow.
"He won't come back now. And it's impossible to forget him."
Andy hesitated. Then he said softly, "You know… he was never think you just a friend."
Siya looked away.
"He stood beside me at every step," she said quietly. "He became my shield. Every danger that came my way—he faced it first. I didn't choose him… he chose me."
Her throat tightened.
"He knew how to lift my spirits. Even his tea felt like comfort. I lost a true gem… and I'll regret it forever."
Andy watched her in silence, then spoke with honesty.
"He loved you, Siya. He never said it because he already knew how you felt. All he wanted was to see you happy."
Tears streamed down her face.
"I was so lost in my loneliness," she whispered. "I didn't even realize what he was carrying inside."
Andy placed a hand on her shoulder. "He was happy… because you understood him in the end."
She asked to be alone for a while.
When she stepped out later, a small locket rested against her chest—the one George had given her. If he couldn't be with her, this would remain.
Ali approached her quietly.
"You look alright," he said.
Siya's eyes hardened with resolve.
"Now we save this world. No matter what it takes. I won't let his sacrifice be wasted."
Siya frowned slightly. "He wanted to tell me something. He found out something important."
"What was it?" Ali asked.
Siya shook his head. "I don't know. But the last thing he said was… find him." That night, the words followed me into my dreams.
Darkness swallowed me.
I stood in a room-like void where silence pressed against my ears and cold air pierced my skin. The atmosphere felt deadly. Every step forward felt like crossing into something forbidden.
Then I heard it.
A voice.
I moved toward the sound, and her eyes fell upon a container—sealed, metallic, filled with some unknown chemical. Just as I leaned closer, something pulled my attention away.
"What kind of sound was that?" Andy's voice echoed.
"It sounded like someone breathing," Siya replied. "Deep… heavy breaths."
She felt something wrong.
And before she could react—
BOOM.
The world shattered in a deafening explosion.
