Season 2 - Chapter 43: The Punishment of Immortality and the Silence of the Universe
The sky of the "Prison of the Moonlight" was about to fall to pieces. Erisa, who had previously considered herself the greatest power in the universe, now stood out before Volt only as a shaky shadow. The 9 glowing circles surrounding Volt, symbolizing her 9 kinds of immortality, emitted a light that burned away all of Erisa's darkness.
9-point prison sentence
Volt raised his right hand. Nine black and gold chains came out of the circles of immortality, binding Erisa's fuzzy body.
Volt: "Erisa... you tried to kill someone whose death is only a servant. Therefore, I will punish you according to my immortality. You will not kill, because death is salvation for you.
In that moment, Volt dragged Erisa into a bottomless abyss, a place Volt called the "prison of nine stakes. There, Erisa dies 9 times every second and is resurrected 9 times due to Volt's immortality, without ever being able to end it.
Vanessa's awakening
When Erisa disappeared, the whole dark prison scattered. Volt quickly walked over to Vanessa, who was wincing in Anos' arms.
The voltage changed per second. That terrifying monstrous power and those 9 circles of immortality disappeared, and it was back to the simple volt that smelled like corn.
Vanessa: (in a low voice) "Volt... what happened? I was dreaming... I was dreaming that you were the king who shook the whole world again.
Volt: (with a kind smile) "No dear... it was just a dream. I'm just here to take you home. The straw is getting cold."
The boys' oath
Anos and Akuto looked at their father. They now know that their father is not only the King of Monsters, but a being so immortal that even "Time" itself cannot touch him.
Anos: (in a low voice to Akuto) "We must learn to control our forces. My father saved the world alone, but today he showed us that he is willing to risk all kinds of immortality to protect his family.
Akuto: "Yes, Anos. As of this day, we are no longer the sons of the farmer. We are the guardians of the peace that our father created with 9,000 years."
Return to the earth
Sai opened a gate and they all returned to the farm. The morning sunlight was about to appear. Volt was carrying Vanessa in his arms. When he reached the door, he looked back at Sai and his sons.
Volt: "Tomorrow, we have to plow the land. The war is over, but the wheat is not waiting for us.
In the distance, in the depths of hell, Lucifer and Julius felt the great vibration that Volt had created. They realized that as long as Vault and his 9 immortality existed, no one could touch that village.
