Chapter 27: The New Generation and Eternal Peace (End)
10 years later.
The world was no longer the terrible place ruled by Lucifer and the gods. A silent peace had swept over all the universes. In a small, green village, in a simple wooden house, a new life had begun.
Volt and Vanessa's family
Volt was no longer crowned monster king, but a kind father. He and Vanessa had formed a beautiful family. Their two adorable children, Anos and Alyssa, played in the backyard.
Anos: Volt's eldest son, whose eyes were as deep and powerful as his father's, but had a pure heart like his mother's.
Alisa: Their little girl, whose every smile was enough to make Volt forget all his cosmic powers.
Vanessa stood at the door, watching Volt help Anos use a wooden sword for the first time. "Power isn't just for destruction, son... it's for protecting those you love," Volt told him quietly.
Sai, Aki and the descendants of Akuto
On the other side of the village, Sai and Aki were married. They too had a brave son, Akuto. Akuto seemed like a combination of Aki's courage and Sai's intelligence.
Sakuna, who still remained a shadow in Said's heart, was less angry now. "Sai, look at Akuto... he'll be a great warrior one day, maybe he'll be Anos and Alyssa's bodyguard, like we were to Volt," he said in a low voice from time to time.
A meeting of friends
That evening, they all gathered around the same table. Aki, Sai and Akuto had come over to Volt and Vanessa for dinner. The table was filled with Volt's always favorite foods (fish and meat).
The children (Anos, Alisa and Akuto) were playing together and the sound of laughter filled the whole forest. Volt looked at his friends and family. He knew that the power of Bundles and level 55 was still hidden within him, but he was determined to only use it again if this peace was threatened.
The end of the story
When night came and the stars appeared, Volt and Vanessa were left alone in the yard.
Vanessa: "Volt, don't you regret leaving the power and throne of the universes?"
Volt looked at Anos and Alyssa asleep inside, then at Vanessa and took her hand.
Volt: "I have never regretted it. From the day I found you, I realized that the true kingdom is here... inside this little house. I am now not only the king of the universes, but the happiest person in all of fairy tales."
In the sky, the stars shone brightly, as if bowing to the peace that the monster king had brought them.
