Chapter 26: The King's Tears and the Silence of the Universe
Volt broke the golden seal on Vanessa's chest with his trembling hands. In that instant, all the destructive energy around Volt disappeared like a haze. Heaven, which had become desolate, was suddenly covered with a holy silence.
Vanessa's awakening
Vanessa opened her dim, bright eyes. Waqi flinched for a few seconds, looked around, then caught sight of Volt. The Volt who is now an unlimited king and whose eyes had taken on the color of death.
"Volt... is that you?" Vanessa said in a low, passionate voice.
Volt, who had been blowing up planets a while ago, was now standing in front of him like a child. Vanessa quickly stepped out of the box and gave Volt a hug so tight that all of Volt's 9,000 year old grudge melted away. Volt did the same, laying his head on her shoulder and for the first time tears fell from his red eyes.
Vanessa's request
After a while, Vanessa looked into Volt's eyes and put her hand on his face. He sensed the terrifying power within Volt's body (55th level).
Vanessa: "Volt... please stop. I don't want to live with you on the ruins of the universes. Let's live normally. End this destruction. Don't destroy the universe, because life is better when you're just Volt, not a destructive king.
Shock of Sakuna and the shadow of the king
Sai and Aki watched from a distance. Sakuna said inside Side's heart, in a voice full of respect and admiration.
"Sai... look. What you and I, 10 million angels and seven gods couldn't do, she hugged you. There's only one person in existence who can control the Demon King and stop his unlimited power... only Vanessa.
Back to the beginning
Volt looked at Vanessa and gave her a simple smile, the one Sai and Aki had met at the beginning of their journey. Volt reached up and used the power of Bundles, not to destroy, but to heal.
All the universes and planets he had blown up began to be rebuilt. He restored heaven to normalcy, but without the traitorous gods. Volt decided to keep his power hidden and return to Earth with Vanessa and her friends.
End of Chapter:
Julius, now an old man, sat in a corner and watched them, knowing that he had lost, not by the sword, but by the love he did not want to believe. Volt took Vanessa's hand and looked at Sai and Aki.
Volt: "Let's go home... I owe you all a good lunch."
