As the diverted river water flowed through the newly dug irrigation channels, saturating the dark soil around the freshly planted seeds, the system's notification chimed softly in his mind.
In the Pokémon world, under normal conditions, Leppa Berry Grain took about 90 days to mature, while Gungun Beans grew faster, needing only 60. Of course, applying growth accelerants could roughly halve those times. Compared to the arduous farming of his past life, cultivation here was undeniably more forgiving and abundant.
Wade watched the Pokémon Girls carefully tending to the fields, his mind already planning ahead. Beyond fertilizer, the unique powers of Pokémon themselves could dramatically speed growth. Moves like Sunny Day and Rain Dance for precise weather control, Grassy Terrain to boost energy absorption, and he'd even heard of a Pokémon in Paldea—Dachsbun—whose body emitted an aroma that spurred wheat to grow wildly within hundreds of meters.
Perhaps I should look into catching a Pokémon that knows Grassy Terrain, he mused.
"Master~ Look over here!"
Just as he was contemplating a trip to Hiyori Forest to recruit new help, a playful, melodic voice called out. He looked up just in time to be struck by a handful of cool, clear river water.
Gardevoir, having shifted into her Pokémon Girl form, stood by the water's edge, giggling mischievously, another scoop of water ready in her hands.
"..."
Watching her deliberately lean forward, the motion causing the wet, sheer fabric of her white gauze skirt to cling even more revealingly to the snowy curves beneath, Wade understood exactly what his "little obsessed girl" was really after.
Alright then. An open-air water fight it is.
Wade was no pushover. Embracing the principle of swift retaliation, he charged forward, engaging the mischievous Psychic-type in a spirited splash battle. Of course, the flustered bunny girl nearby, who had been trying to mind her own business, wasn't spared either.
"E-eh?! Master, I had nothing to do with this—!"
A well-aimed splash rendered Ms. Lopunny's delicate lace bandeau nearly transparent, the damp fabric clinging desperately and doing little to hide the tempting blush of her areolas. As she gasped, the water soaked through the black silk of her stockings from the tops of her thighs, tracing glistening, meandering paths down the plush curves of her legs and onto the soil.
Ms. Lopunny glanced down at her own scandalous reflection in a puddle, a wave of heat so intense it threatened to buckle her knees. "M-Master… p-please, don't look anymore~"
Later, back inside the wooden cabin, she stood before him, hands futilely trying to shield the surging softness of her chest, her face a masterpiece of flustered crimson.
Wade had grown accustomed to this delightful contradiction. Ms. Lopunny, whose form was a hymn to temptation, housed a heart of surprising, easily flustered purity. The slightest provocation from him could reduce her to a blushing, compliant mess. He had to admit, there was a unique thrill in guiding such sensitive shyness.
"Master~" A sultry, dripping voice pulled his attention. "What about me?"
Beside him, Ms. Gardevoir sat on a chair, thoroughly drenched, a look of peach-blossom satisfaction on her face. The water had only enhanced her allure. Droplets navigated the treacherous slopes of her snowy ravine, soaking the already sheer white gauze of her skirt and rendering it practically useless, outlining every graceful, hypnotic curve. Her white silk stockings were plastered to her skin like a second, glistening layer, transforming her legs into twin masterpieces of sculpted jade.
For his little obsessed girl, the impromptu shower had been mere foreplay. What she truly craved was…
Honk! HONK-HONK!
A series of blunt, blaring horn sounds suddenly tore through the farm's quiet atmosphere from the main road.
A visitor.
"You wait here. I'll… help you dry off properly later," Wade said, his voice low. Though every instinct urged him to address her needs immediately, he wouldn't let impulse override responsibility. He gave her head a final, gentle pat.
"Mmm~"
Gardevoir's eyes glimmered with liquid promise. She caught his retreating hand, brought it to her mouth, and with a soft, wet sound, took his index finger between her lips. For a long, slow moment, the only sound in the room was a soft, rhythmic suckling. She lavished it with obsessive attention before finally releasing it with a soft pop, her gaze hazy and satisfied.
"Master… hurry back~" she breathed.
Having temporarily placated the obsessed older sister, Wade pushed open the creaky wooden door and stepped back into the daylight to see who had arrived.
A large, sky-blue truck adorned with a flock of stylized Wingull decals rumbled up the dusty path. In the driver's seat sat a man built like a sturdy oak tree, with thick, corded forearms. Beside him, a Machamp sat impassively, its four powerfully muscled and scarred arms a testament to raw strength and experience.
"You must be the new owner!" the driver boomed, cutting the engine and hopping down with surprising agility. His weathered face broke into a wide, genuine grin. "Wade, right? The mayor in Hiyori Town mentioned you. I'm Yoshino, with the Seabreeze City Acquisition Company. We handle goods from farms all across the region. Here's hoping for a good partnership!"
"Pleasure to meet you, Mr. Yoshino," Wade replied, offering a polite nod. He'd been wondering when to venture into town to find a buyer—this visit couldn't have been better timed.
"Machamp."
The Fighting-type, who had been scanning the property, gave a low grunt and pointed with one of its lower arms.
Yoshino followed his partner's gaze to the neatly cultivated fields in the distance. A broad smile spread across his face. "Well, I'll be! You've gotten this place in working order faster than I expected. That's real promise you're showing here."
He clapped his hands together, his tone turning businesslike. "So, got anything to start our business with today?"
Wade responded by retrieving several palm-sized, glossy black stones from the cabin.
"Hard Stone!" Yoshino took them, holding one up to the sunlight with an expert eye. "Solid quality. Not as flashy as a Big Pearl, but these have a steady market. Trainers use 'em to sharpen their Pokémon's Rock-type moves, and collectors are always after ones with interesting shapes."
He lowered the stone, leaning in confidentially. "You know, word is the Hoenn Champion is a real connoisseur. Rumor has it he's got a whole room at the Devon Corporation just for his collection."
"Sounds like a man of taste," Wade said with a smile. "What's your offer?"
Yoshino's expression turned earnest. "For stones of this grade, the going rate is about 5,000 League Coin each." He paused, then his grin returned. "But to start our relationship off right, I'll make it 6,500 apiece. Consider it an investment in a promising new farm."
Wade felt a surge of satisfaction. Every extra coin was a direct boost to the farm's development. The offer was more than fair.
"That's a generous offer," he said, extending his hand. "You've got a deal."
They shook on it firmly, the grip sealing the farm's first official sale and the beginning of what Wade hoped would be a prosperous and lasting connection.
