Under the lingering influence of the new Word Strip, Lopunny felt a specific, deep tremor course through her body—an involuntary, electric shiver that carried a wave of inexplicable, heady arousal.
"Ugh—"
It took her a long moment to surface from the sudden swell of pleasure, her form now glistening and utterly pliant, as if melted by the sensation.
"Come out, quickly! There's a meteor shower!"
Wade's voice, bright with excitement, called from outside the cabin. At some point, he had dashed into the yard.
Above Hiyori Town, beneath a vault of infinite velvety black, a grand celestial performance was unfolding. Countless meteors streaked across the silence, not as gentle wishes, but as brilliant, sharp strokes of light carving ephemeral scars across the night. A Wish Festival, the event that summoned the mythical Jirachi, was still half a year away. Yet, the spectacle alone was enough to stir magic.
From the surrounding forest, swarms of Volbeat and Illumise emerged, their rhythmic bioluminescence joining the astral dance, weaving terrestrial fireflies with falling stars.
The two Pokémon Girls, stepping out onto the cool grass, gazed upward, their eyes reflecting the swirling cosmos, full of silent wonder.
"Shall we make a wish?" Wade suggested softly, a smile in his voice.
Lopunny tilted her head in an adorable, wordless agreement.
"Master, I wish to go first," Ms. Gardevoir declared, her tone leaving no room for argument, her enchanting silhouette bathed in starlight.
After she had closed her eyes, lips moving in a silent, fervent plea, it was Lopunny's turn.
"Mmm~"
The sexy bunny girl complied, shutting her amber eyes. Legend held that wishes spoken aloud during a meteor shower would lose their power. So, she whispered, her voice a secret murmur against the backdrop of crickets and distant gasps from the sky, for a long, earnest moment before falling silent.
When she finally opened her eyes, she couldn't resist a furtive glance at her Trainer, who was still looking up, his profile outlined by celestial fire.
"Then, I'll be last—"
Wade drew out the words, teasingly slow, until both Pokémon Girls grew exasperated, looking ready to each take a playful bite out of him. Only then did he obediently close his eyes, clasp his hands, and send his own silent hope into the star-strewn void.
The next morning, Wade awoke to the clear, sawing melody of a Kricketute outside his window. Sunlight poured in, sharp and clean, promising a flawless day.
"Time to get up, Gardevoir."
He ran a hand through his sleep-mussed hair and gently nudged the slumbering white-silk vision beside him. His little obsessed girl, perhaps lost in a dream-replay of the previous night, had left a telltale damp patch on the sheets.
"Mmm… want more…"
Ms. Gardevoir murmured, clinging to him like a particularly affectionate octopus, her snowy softness molding against his side.
"..."
Wade leaned against the wooden headboard, a captive audience as the ethereal older sister shifted into a more active role, her graceful form moving with a familiar, hungry purpose. As the saying went, the early bird gets the worm—or in this case, the early Gardevoir claimed her prize.
"Mmm—hah—"
After a vigorous, breathless struggle that passed for a morning routine, a flushed and satisfied Gardevoir triumphantly carried the damp linen outside to air.
Wade, the "victor" of this particular skirmish, listened to the system's soft ding with a practiced, blank expression. As their interactions grew more frequent, the quality and novelty of the Word Strips had noticeably declined—another batch of common, white-quality duplicates. He stored them away without much thought.
Then, he pulled out a second Poké Ball and tossed it lightly into the room's sunlit air.
"Good morning, Lopunny."
"Juu-ru-ru-ru—"
Lopunny materialized in a flash of red light, stretching languidly before slowly blinking her eyes open, a haze of sleep still clinging to her.
"Didn't sleep well last night?" Wade asked, concern coloring his voice as he reached out to stroke the velvety fur at the base of her long ears.
"Juu-ru…"
Unlike Gardevoir, who seemed to live in her Pokémon Girl form indoors as a perpetual temptation, Lopunny—despite her devastating humanized appearance—was inherently shy. She spent most of her time in her natural, fluffy form, where she felt less exposed.
"Alright, I'll start breakfast. If you're still tired, go rest a bit more in the room," Wade said, giving her cheek an affectionate pinch. "We've got to plant the Leppa Berry grain after we eat."
"Juu-ru!" Lopunny nodded, obedient.
She watched her Trainer's retreating back as he headed for the kitchen, a familiar warmth creeping into her cheeks.
The truth was, she had fallen asleep early. But deep in the night, curled within her Poké Ball, she'd been roused by a series of faint, rhythmic sounds—muffled gasps and sighs that seeped into her consciousness. Coupled with a certain scent lingering in the air, it had dragged her mind back to the steam-filled bathroom, sending her heart into a frantic, guilty gallop.
"Juu-ru-ru…"
Maybe some fresh air…
Seeking clarity, Lopunny padded softly out of the wooden cabin and into the crisp morning. She closed her eyes, letting the breeze wash over her, trying to calm the restless flutter in her chest.
Just as she began to lose herself in the peace of the dawn,
A distinct, foreign rustle came from the tall grass at the edge of the freshly tilled field.
Her eyes snapped open, ears swiveling forward, all drowsiness gone.
An intruder?
Lopunny's gaze cooled as the figure emerging from the morning mist grew clearer. She took a deliberate step forward, positioning herself as a silent sentinel between the intruder and the farm.
"Clefable! It has to be this way! I followed Grandpa's GPS instructions exactly this time!"
On the overgrown path leading to the farm, a girl with vibrant pink hair bounced with determination. She wore a simple white shirt and a blue skirt that swished with her energetic steps.
"Cle-fa-ble!"
You'd better be right this time.
The Clefable waddling beside her let its ears droop in profound skepticism. They had already spent the better part of the morning circling Hiyori Town's outskirts. If they kept following her directionally-challenged Trainer, they'd be lost until the dawn of a new creation.
"Clefa!"
After another stretch of dubious navigation, Clefable's sharp eyes caught a silhouette ahead—a rabbit-like Pokémon with impossibly long, fluffy ears, standing tall and alert.
"Eh? A wild Lopunny? So cute!" Akane's eyes sparkled. Forgetting all caution, her feet carried her forward in a rhythmic thump-thump-thump, arms outstretched for an impulsive hug.
In her exuberant charge, the second button of her white shirt strained dangerously, offering a fleeting glimpse of smooth, pale skin beneath her collarbone. The girl paid it no mind, launching herself in a star-shaped tackle toward the fluffy guardian.
"Juu-ru-ru-ru—!"
Lopunny, having anticipated the move, executed a graceful backward leap, leaving the enthusiastic human to embrace nothing but air and earth.
"Eeeeeeh?!"
A moment later, Akane made intimate and thorough contact with the ground.
"Pi."
Clefable, standing a safe distance away, brought a small paw to its face in a gesture of long-suffering despair. It subtly shuffled a few more steps back, discreetly disassociating from its disaster-prone owner.
"Owww…" Akane pushed herself up, wincing as she brushed dirt from her cheek.
"Chu-ru-ru!"
Lopunny, her patience already frayed from a sleepless night, glared at the girl who had trespassed and then attempted a physical assault. Her fur bristled slightly.
"S-sorry! I didn't mean to scare you!" Akane waved her hands frantically, scrambling to explain.
"Chu. Ru. Ru." Lopunny's tone was firm and unyielding, her amber eyes holding a clear warning.
"Pi! Pi-pi!"
Akane blinked, watching her Clefable suddenly begin gesturing wildly, translating the Pokémon's intent.
"You mean… she wants to battle? And the loser has to leave immediately?"
"Pi." Clefable gave a solemn nod.
"I see…"
Seeing no immediate signs of human habitation—no parked bikes, no laundry lines—Akane naturally assumed Lopunny was a territorial wild Pokémon protecting its home. Such encounters weren't uncommon for a traveling Trainer… or a lost Gym Leader.
The smile faded from Akane's face, replaced by a focused calm. She rose to her feet, dusting off her skirt with a newfound seriousness. The air seemed to shift around her, the playful girl replaced by the poised heir to the Goldenrod Gym.
"Understood. We accept your challenge." She adjusted her stance, her voice clear and steady. "Clefable! Front and center! Prepare for battle!"
