Lucian's hand holding the phone twitched... As if it desperately needed to obey this standing order.
"What the heck?" Lucian furrowed his brows in disbelief.
Satisfy this annoying guy and not make him angrier? Yes, that was exactly what one part of his mind was currently telling him to do and it was shockingly unbelievable.
What made it more confusing was that yet at the same time, he was feeling angry that Rowan was being an annoying jerk.
Two conflicting emotions warring within him...
But of course, Lucian Vale would always be Lucian and had a reputation to protect- he wouldn't be subdued easily.
Despite how strong the feeling of not making Rowan upset was, the second mind won against the first one, and Lucian daringly asked;
"Why should I throw out my phone?"
"I won't repeat myself." Rowan's expression didn't change as he replied.
"That's not an answer," Lucian shot back, his grip tightening on his phone as if if he loosened it, his hand might betray him.
