Ryan turned to leave. At the door he paused, allowing the faintest curve to touch his lips—nothing Clifford could see from behind the desk.
Andrew had lit the match himself. Vanessa had handed him the gasoline.

In the corridor Ryan spotted Christopher lingering near the copy machine, pretending to sort papers. Ryan walked straight up, slung an arm casually around the younger man's shoulders like they were old drinking buddies.
