Robert considered for a moment, then nodded. "Of course. After we eat, I'll take you to have a look. Jade isn't considered overly expensive these days anyway. If you have the means, it's worth collecting."
Ryan smiled faintly, neither agreeing nor disagreeing outright. "Mr. Robert is joking. With the market the way it is now and based on how the Eastern Continent has trying to shut off rare material exports, a truly good jade is hard to come by. Whatever we find in the market is either a low-quality one or a fake one. And those that are officially imported are incredibly expensive."
Robert studied him in silence. This young man didn't slip at all. Every response was measured, every word carefully chosen. There was nothing more to squeeze out for the moment.
He stood up and said casually, "Eat first. I'll go check on the arrangements. If you have any dietary taboos, let me know. I'll make sure it's taken care of."
