At the entrance of the residential compound.
Watching Anthony drive away in a near-frantic manner, Lena felt even more relieved.
When she came to her senses, she realized that she was still holding Evan's arm in an intimate manner.
And because her upper body was leaning against Evan's arm, the distance between them suddenly felt far too intimate.
In an instant, Lena's fair and pretty face flushed red, and she quickly lowered her arm.
"He lives upstairs from me and has been harassing me a lot. So when you came over just now, I told you that you are my boyfriend so that he would stop harassing me in the future. Please don't mind."
Lena blushed and explained shyly.
"Oh, it's nothing."
Evan shook his head, a faint sense of regret flickering through his mind.
Because when Lena had clung to his arm just now, he could still feel the lingering warmth.
"He will definitely not dare to harass me again. This is the first time I have ever seen him so humble. He used to be very superior in front of me, but he was terrified when he saw you this time."
Lena continued, then looked somewhat puzzled.
"Is it because you drive a top car?"
"It has nothing to do with driving a car."Evan shook his head, smiled, and then raised his left hand, showing the Patek Philippe watch he was wearing on his wrist.
"It's related to this watch."
"Is it related to this watch? Why?"
Lena was stunned for a moment; she didn't understand what Evan meant by those words.
She glanced instinctively at the watch on Evan's wrist. She didn't recognize the Patek Philippe brand, but she thought it was really beautiful.
She didn't know the brand, but instinctively felt that it was something far beyond her reach
Lena thought to herself.
"Because this watch costs more than $200,000, he recognized it just now."
Evan said directly.
Upon hearing this, Lena, who was admiring the watch and thinking about buying one herself, suddenly widened her eyes, and a look of shock appeared on her fair and beautiful face.
"That much?"
Lena was truly shocked by the price of the watch.
She never imagined that the watch would be so expensive.
"Yes, This is a Patek Philippe watch. You can check it online."
Evan found Lena's shocked expression adorable, so while speaking, he couldn't resist reaching out and gently pinching her cheek.
Her soft, slightly round cheeks gave her an innocent charm that Evan found unexpectedly endearing.
"I..."
Lena blushed instantly when her cheek was pinched unexpectedly, as she was marveling at the price of the watch.
"Alright, get in the car."
Evan withdrew his hand and said something as if nothing had happened.
"Mmm." Lena blushed and nodded.
After getting into the car,Lena pulled over the seatbelt and fastened it. Her face was still a little red because, not counting her relatives, this was the first time a man had pinched her cheek.
A wave of shyness washed over her, making her feel both embarrassed and flustered.
However, after fastening her seatbelt, she suppressed her shyness and couldn't help but glance at Evan.
She finally understood why Anthony had reacted so humbly earlier.
Lena had mixed feelings, but she didn't show them much.
"Did you fasten your seatbelt?"
After Evan fastened his seatbelt, he turned his head to remind Lena, only to see that she had already fastened her seatbelt.
Um...
Evan couldn't help but take a few more glances.
Only then did he look away.
"Yes, I've fastened my seatbelt." Lena didn't notice Evan's gaze because she was lost in her own emotion.
Lena was nervous. She couldn't believe she was going on a date with someone she had just met and already she was wondering how the night would go. There were multiple ways it could end...a million scenarios went through her mind as they drove through the streets.
Some of those possibilities made her heart race even faster. Lena's face got a little red as she eyed him shyly. Unfortunately for her, Evan caught her looking.
He grinned, as if trying to set her at ease
"Is everything alright?" Evan asked, momentarily taking his eyes off the road.
"I-I'm fine..." Lena responded under her breath.
She hadn't really been in this sit, before but was glad she was putting herself out there.
Soothing music was playing in the car, which didn't interfere with their conversation.
They turned a corner and arrived at one of the best restaurants of the city.
Evan had had to pay in advance to reserve their seats but the cost hardly mattered to him at all.
They were ushered to some of the best seats in the restaurant and Evan could instantly tell this was Lena's first time somewhere so fancy.
She was dazed and admired the class of the people here but he also noticed that her confident demeanor quickly faded.
She must have been intimidated by the people here as the clothes they wore were easily some of the most expensive things she had seen in her life begging the question of what Evan was even doing with her.
"You know..." Evan said out of the blue, bringing Lena out of her head.
"Even if I were to choose who I want to have dinner with in this room full of these people, it would be you," Evan said sternly, looking her right in the eye.
Lena flushed red once again.
Even Evan himself was slightly surprised at how naturally those words had slipped out, the words rolled off his tongue effortlessly to the point that it even surprised him, the speaker.
"Good evening Mr. Evan and Mrs. Evan, would you like our special menu tasting order?" A waiter walked up to the table where they were seated.
"That would be nice, thank you," Evan nodded to the waiter. He had no idea what a tasting menu was but as long as it was food, he was down for it.
He was also impressed that the waiter knew his name, it showed that they took customer service a lot more seriously than other restaurants in these parts.
No wonder they were so successful.
Turning his attention to his date, he noticed that Lena had frozen in place.
"Are you okay?" Evan asked, reaching his hand over on hers.
"H-He thinks we're married..." Lena said in a whisper, clearly flustered by the thought.
" So cute," Evan thought to himself, trying to stop himself from laughing.
Buzzing.
Lena phone vibrated at that moment.
Lena looked down and saw that it was a message from her best friend.
Lara: Send me a picture of him so I can see what he looks like.
Lena first looked up at Evan, and only after seeing that Evan was not looking at her did she type a reply.
"I am in the restaurant, so I can't take pictures now." Lena typed a quick reply and then put her phone away.
The evening went as planned, Lena experienced a wide range of emotions at the tasting and with each serving, she came closer to her true personality as she relaxed and laughed more. She even began making small jokes.
Evan enjoyed the night. He was never a person who took relationships kind seriously but being with Lena, right here and now, was something he could see himself doing more often,Dish after dish was served, each one slowly easing the tension between them.
Evan found himself enjoying the night more than he expected.
"What's wrong?"
After noticing that Lena was looking at him, Evan turned his head and asked a question.
"It's nothing." Lena shook her head, but the next second she couldn't help but ask, "Can I ask what kind of girl you like?"
As she spoke, a hint of nervousness and anticipation appeared in Lena's eyes.
Um?
Evan raised an eyebrow, because the question seemed familiar.
Oh, I remember now, Emily just asked that question.
"I like girls who are pleasing to look at—and who make me feel comfortable being myself."
Evan spoke directly.
Upon hearing this, Lena was stunned for a moment, and then a feeling of surprise.
After dinner, as they left the restaurant,
Evan asked casually, "Want to watch a movie?"
Lena hesitated for a second, then smiled. "Yeah… I'd like that."
Evan checked the navigation on his phone before starting the car, the glow of the screen lighting up the dashboard as he drove into the night.

Movie hall
The movie theater was lively and warm, filled with chatter and the scent of popcorn.
As Evan purchased tickets, a staff member approached them.
"Excuse me," he said politely. "Are you two a couple?"
Lena cheeks warmed instantly.
She stiffened for a brief moment.
She was momentarily caught off guard..
"We have a promotion today," the staff continued. "Couples get an eighty percent discount. But to confirm, we need you to kiss—just briefly."
Silence.
Lena glanced at Evan, her cheeks burning.
Then, gathering courage, she nodded.
"Yes."
The staff smiled. "Just a quick kiss is enough."
Evan looked at Lena. Her eyes held nervousness… and expectation.
At first, Evan thought he was seeing things, but after taking a closer look at Lena, he saw the genuine expectation in her eyes.
This made him subconsciously pause for a moment.
Is this a sign that they're hoping the two will kiss?
Before Evan could think any further, he heard Lena speak.
"Okay, just a brief kiss is fine, right?"
Lena blushed slightly and looked at the waiter.
"Yes, all you need is a kiss to prove you're a couple."
The waiter nodded, and as he spoke, he glanced at Lena, and then felt a little envious of Evan.
The staff member couldn't help but feel a twinge of envy as he glanced at Evan. To be honest, he has seen quite a few pretty girls.
But this was truly the first time he had ever seen someone as beautiful as Lena.
The staff looked at Evan and thought to himself with envy.
Despite all that talk, reality is just a blink of an eye away. Lena had already turned her head and looked at Evan.
She felt nervous, shy, and far more self-conscious than she expected.
After all, what she just said was very proactive and bold.
She actually nodded and said she could kiss him.
This was the most proactive and daring thing she had ever done in her life.
I just don't know what he'll think.
Will she kiss herself, or...?
Thinking about this, Lena became a little worried.
Okay," Evan said softly.
He leaned in.
The kiss was brief—gentle—but it was enough to make Lena's heart race.
The staff looked away politely, clearly envious.
"Enjoy your movie."
Evan was genuinely surprised that the system's task had been completed so effortlessly.
"Ding, congratulations to the host for completing the mission and obtaining Lena's first kiss within one month."
The host has received the following rewards:
1. A cash reward of $1 million (the reward has been sent to the host's bank account, please check it in time).
Second, the host has obtained a license plate, R999N. (The license plate procedures are legal and compliant, so please use it with confidence. Someone will contact the host when the host goes to the vehicle management office to register the license plate.)
The system's voice kept ringing in my head.
My phone buzzed in my pocket.
I took out my phone and glanced at it. It was a text message from my bank card saying that $1 million had been deposited.
Evan withdrew his gaze from rewards and glanced at Lena, who was blushing and looking away.
"What, are you shy? You only kissed me because you agreed."
Evan found her shy demeanor adorable and jokingly teased her with a smile.
Upon hearing this, Lena blushed even more.
"Really? If it were another guy watching here with you today, would you agree to let him kiss you?"
Evan said directly.
"How is that possible?!" Lena exclaimed without even thinking.
How could she possibly agree to let another boy kiss her?
She agreed with Evan because she genuinely felt that he was excellent in every way.
"This is my first kiss."
Lena looked up at Evan, her pretty face serious, but her tone was somewhat aggrieved.
"Mine too" Evan replied.
At first, Evan thought it would be difficult to get Lena's first kiss.
Sometimes, life moved forward in the simplest—and most unexpected—ways.
