It was the weekend, three days before the test. kanao again with her serious expression was reading at the library along with her brother Kanabe and Yahiko. Kanabe was having a problem with a question. He asked Kanao to help him with that. Alas! Kanao refused to do it. Then Yahiko Grabbed Kanabe's notebook and solved the question in a minute. People might wonder that if he had solved such a difficult question in a minute then his handwriting would be like trash, right? WRONG! Actually he wrote that answer in pure calligraphy and next level of cursive way.
"Damn shit!" Kanabe was shocked."It's so good and clean. Hey, sis?"
"What Kanabe?" Kanao looked at Kanabe and then at the answer. "What the frickin' hell! How this long and hard answer written in a minute is solved beautifully?"
Yahiko was trying to figure out what was wrong with them.
"This was the hardest problem in the whole chapter." Kanabe said.
"Well, I think he's completed this chapter. Anyway boys, listen to me. We need to talk bout' the exam."
"You're right." Kanabe nodded and smiled at Kanao. "Why don't you start the discussion?"
"Fine." Kanao sighed. "Ms. Jigoro said that this test is a special test called Special Honor Exam. The purpose of this exam is to test intelligence, reasoning, observation, strategy and social insight. The exam is divided into three sections. Logical Puzzles has total thirty marks, Observation and deduction has thirty also and the last, Psychological and Social Insight part will cover forty marks. So total marks are hundred.-
"The key skills to be tested are logical reasoning, attention to detail,strategic thinking, social manipulation and psychological insight. So the main things they wanna know about are our psychological, reasoning and mental skills. But unfortunately,there might be someone to fail. So we have to be aware of that."
'Yep, you're right, Kanao. Now Yahiko, do you have anything to discuss?" Kanabe asked and put his hand on Yahiko's shoulder.
Yahiko nodded negatively.
"Okay, we get it." Kanabe put down his hand. Yahiko tapped his fingers on the table.
'Thank goodness, Kanabe you removed your hand or he's gonna crush it."
"Okay, well. See ya at the test. Bye!"
Yahiko waved his hand.
The day of the special test came. Ms. Jigoro had passed every question sheets to the Electrons.
"Electrons, you'll have 90 minutes and total marks are 100. The average of passing marks are 55. The Special Honor Exam starts now." she declared. And so after one and a half an hour, the test ended. Jigoro took all the answer sheets.
"So, how was it, Yahiko?" Kanao looked at him and said in a very cold voice for no reason. Yahiko tapped his fingers on his table.
"Good you say? I guess, brother was also able to give it. I could see that in his face. He's smiling TOO much!"
Yahiko tapped his fingers and he stood up from his seat and started walking
"Oh! See ya later then, Matsushiba." kanao smiled.
Yahiko stopped instantly by hearing that name.
"What-what happened?"
Yahiko looked at Kanao's eyes with the same poker face but it had darkness all over it. for them, the situation was like both of them were alone in the class but he had already murdered her barehanded. Yahiko neither tapped his fingers nor used the Morse Code or sign language to say something. But Kanao understood HOW ANGRY Yahiko was, and she was terrified with that dark poker face of his. She got scared 'cuz she could tell that he was gonna murder her in a blink of an eye and she'd be dead before she'd realize.
"OKAY!" her voice trembled in fear not of death but from being killed by Yahiko.
"Look, I'm really sorry. You don't have to kill me. I apologize."
Yahiko simply nodded and started walking away. Kanao noticed that Yahiko was holding a pen in his right hand, pointing the nip like a knife. Her face got full paled.
Kanabe was going to his room. As he was walking on the way to the dormitory he saw Yahiko was with Izana. She was trying to get close to Yahiko but he was stepping back.
"Poor Yahiko." Kanabe muttered. He reached them. "Yo guys! Are you two dating each other?"
Yahiko nodded in the negative and wrote something in his notepad. He gave it to Kanabe.
"Kanabe, help me" Kanabe read in silence."Help me get rid of her. I can't hold back for too long. If she steps again towards me. I'll kick her. This bitch s proposing me everyday and I am rejecting her everyday as well... How tough this guy is!" Kanabe thought. He sighed and continued. "Take her away or I'll slap so hard the she'd bleed, even from her eyes.-
"Wait! I'll take her away from here. Izana, please come with me." Kanabe took her away.
All this time, Yahiko didn't even seem to be irritated or frustrated by her expression. He was maintaining his poker face.
Two days passed since the exam. Jigoro was about to announce the result of the exam to the S-Orbital.
'Hear me out, Electrons." she said."Before I show you the result, you should know about the passing numbers on each section. Section A's passing marks goes with 15 and it's same for the Section B as well. Section C's passing marks are 25. So, it's compulsory to get all these in each section. If you don't get 15-15-25 or above them but you managed to get 55, it'll be also considered as a fail. Now, I'll start the projector to show you the result notice of S-Orbital.
Jigoro started the projector. It showed the Electrons two pages. Each page had three columns , containing Rank, Name and Passing Marks(section-wise and in total) in the headings. Kanao was on the first rank who got 25-26-30, total 81. Then Kanabe was second. He got 20-24-28, total 75. The third was Izana having 20-23-27, total 70. Then it were Mai(66), Iraka(65) and Kimada(68). Yahiko got 15-15-25, total 55.
But it was unfortunate that there were two, boy called Yasiku Hirusha and a girl called Kania Hiku.
"What? Still two failed?" Kanao was shocked to see that and she wasn't alone in this category.
"Teacher, how did these two get failed?" Kanabe stood up and asked.
"both of them lack a single mark. One in Section A and the other one in C." saying this she left.
"Why did this happen?" Kanao thought. Yahiko stood up and left the classroom like he always does.
"What's gotten with him?" she questioned herself. Then the teacher again entered the classroom.
"Yasiku and Kania, both of you are passed. Do your best in the next exams." she left again.
Both Yasiku and Kania were dancing in joy. But Kanao, Kanabe and Izana were shocked. There was only one question in their mind, HOW? How they got passed in a couple of minutes? Kanao rushed to Ms. Jigoro.
"Teacher wait, please?"she called.
"What is it, Kanao?"
"How they did they pass the exam?"
"Why do you care?"
"They were failed in the exam? Why did you passed them? What made you do that?"
"Aren't you happy that nobody is failed now?"
"I am! But still how-"
"Okay, I'll tell you." Jigoro interrupted. "I made a deal. A red haired boy in a white strange wooden mask came to me and said that he'd trade his Hp. He gave me 30k and left."
"Which way?"
"To the roof top."
"Thanks." Kanao left for the roof top. "who'd trade that much to pass someone?" she thought.
kanao reached to the roof and found no one there.
"He's not here. There was only S-orbital which knew about the situation and only one person left the classroom. YAHIKO! But his hair is yellowish-brown."
She texted Yahiko, but he didn't reply. Then she rushed to the library to look for him but he wasn't there either. She headed for his room, the room 139. She reached to his door and rang the bell for sometimes. Yahiko opened the door. He was wearing a mask. He tapped his fingers on his door to let her come in. She entered and Yahiko gave kanao a safety mask.
"What happened to you? You left so early. After that..." Kanao explained what happened after Yahiko left the classroom.
"Yahiko, what happened to you? Are you sick."
Yahiko grabbed Kanao's hand and she blushed.
"I had fever since the start of the day. That's why I got early."
"Oh! So what do you think about that boy?"
"I don't care who got passed or not and whoever that boy is I don't give a shit. Right now, I'm ill and I don't think that I can go to school for two days. Plus, after two days the holiday is also gonna start. So, Ii can assure my rest till then."
"Got it. Anyway, have you eaten something or not?"
He nodded in negative.
"Well then, let me make some soup for you. You lay on the bed and don't move an inch or I'll kick your but. Your body temperature is too high."
He did like as she told him. He tapped his fingers saying," You're too bossy."
"Let me be it, idiot."
After sometime, Kanao brought Yahiko a bowl of soup. He had them and fell asleep instantly. His next day and after that day went the same. But in the second night, Kanao brought him visitors. She brought Sanji, Kanabe, Mai, Kimada and Yahiko's nightmare, probably, Izana. And as usual Izana tried to get close. But Kanabe held her, knowing Yahiko would slap her hard and make her bleed. They talked for some while and the group left.
Yahiko was going to sleep but he noticed that Izana had forgotten her purse and left it in his table. So he tried to go to her room. When he reached there he rang the doorbell for a couple of times but she wasn't there. So he walked out of the dorm and looked out for her. He found her near the big tree outside the dorm and noticed she something he didn't expected of. Izana was kicking a lamp-post's pole non-stop. He got a little bit closer and hid behind the bush.
"I HATE HIM!" she yelled."I HATE HIM! I HATE HIM! I FUCKING HATE THAT BASTARD! CURSE YOU, YAHIKO!" she kicked harder and harder.
"DIE! DIE! DIE, YAHIKO!" she stopped kicking. "Die in this fever. Die-" Izana heard a phone getting notification. It was Yahiko's phone. Kanao texted him to have the pills before sleeping.
"Who's it? Come out." Yahiko came out.
"You? What are you doing here?" Izana spoke in a very different voice like her tone got deepened.
Yahiko showed her purse. He brought out his pen and began to write something. But before he could finish, Izana grabbed his pen and stabbed in her own arm, making it bleed like a river.
"Listen, you brat." she gave him a death stare, but Yahiko was still on his poker face.
"If you tell anybody about this-" she took his left hand and abused it in her own breasts and hips. "I'll destroy you."
Yahiko tried to pull his hand off her gently but he couldn't as she was holding his hand very tight.
"Don't try to move or I'll make it worse. If you tell anyone about this moment, I'll make sure you get expelled. Got it?"
Yahiko nodded affirmatively. Then her tone changed back to normal.
"Then from tomorrow you'll be my boyfriend."
he got another pen and wrote,"I can't do that now. Can we do this after three months?" I need sometime. Besides You've got fake evidences. So, I won't tell this to anyone. You can trust me, Izana." Izana read that and smiled.
"Okay, Yahiko. Then I guess I would wait for sometime to make you mine." Izana smiled. And poor Yahiko. He just simply sighed and walked back to his room.
