Chapter Ninety-Two – Paranormal Realm 88
Betrayal and Vengeance
The battle raged for three more days.
Three days of relentless combat between three hundred million demons and four and a half million supernatural beings who refused to surrender. The casualties were catastrophic—millions dead on both sides, the sacred grounds literally carpeted with bodies, blood running in rivers that stained the earth permanently.
But without Nerlin coordinating their tactics, the demon horde was losing cohesion. They fought with savage fury but no strategy, no unified command structure. And slowly, impossibly, the allied forces began pushing them back.
I spent those three days in the damaged sanctum, helping coordinate healing efforts and care for the wounded while my mother and Delia managed the babies. The triplets were remarkably calm given the circumstances, as if they somehow understood that everyone was fighting for them.
