"You should have known I'm always busy, that's why I've been absent," the Vampire King sighed.
"Busy?" Ezekiel's chilling voice echoed through the hall. "You were also absent during the war. Tell me, Julius, who are you with? The Dynami or the Mayeia?"
Julius sighed deeply. "There's no way I would side with the Mayeia, the witches. It's Dynami."
"Vampires are also in the Dynami kingdom?" Megan asked Sunny in confusion.
"Yes. They are in the western part. Alpha Ezekiel is the ruler of the entire Dynami," Sunny explained.
"Ahh…" Megan gasped, covering her mouth. "Dynami is the biggest kingdom, that's why they divided it into four. Even one of the four, the one Alpha Ezekiel rules, is bigger than our kingdom."
"Of course," Sunny continued. "They were once kingdoms of their own, three Werewolf kingdoms and a Vampire kingdom. But for some reason, they joined. The twin Alphas are the only ones who can protect them from demons. They're very different from other werewolves, and also the strongest. That's why, my dear, you're very blessed to be their mate."
Megan rolled her eyes. "They should be happy they have me too!"
"You should try to understand other people's feelings…" In the blink of an eye, Ezekiel, who had been seated on his throne, was suddenly standing right in front of him. Dracula didn't flinch; he was used to this.
Megan stared in disbelief. "He's so fast…"

"I'm doing this for your own good, Ezekiel," Julius said helplessly, shaking his head.
"Don't you trust me?" He then glanced at Simon, who quickly looked away.
"I don't hear anything, stop giving me that look."
Ezekiel nodded and patted his shoulder. "You'd better not betray me. You know what I can do." He pulled his hand away and turned back toward his throne.
Julius sighed in relief. He was about to speak when someone suddenly rushed in.
"What is it?" Ezekiel asked.
"It's Geberiel…" the man whispered, gasping for air. Ezekiel only raised a brow.
"Kidnapped…" Simon murmured.
Megan, who had been studying him, frowned deeply. She turned to Sunny.
"Don't you think something is off about the Supreme Beta?"
Sunny raised a brow. "Not now, my lady. Things are dire right now."
"Who would dare do that?" Ezekiel asked in confusion. Everyone knew offending Geberiel was a curse.
"He said you shouldn't bother looking for him, it's a trap to lure you," the man continued. "He also said…" He paused and glanced at Megan, scratching his head nervously.
"Enough," Simon said calmly. "He'll be fine."

"I mean it, Simon doesn't seem like other werewolves!"
"Why did you say that?" Sunny chuckled.
"He could tell what someone was about to say, as if he could read minds! Are you sure they aren't related to witches?"
Sunny scoffed. "Our focus is your mate. Alpha Ezekiel is very weak…" She leaned closer. "I didn't want to scare you, but since you're not planning to improve…" she looked around cautiously, "we're already in grave danger. Dark witches' traps. Especially around Ezekiel."
Megan froze. "What?"
"You noticed Chloe, that maid… she's a dark witch. I met her here. Don't you know what that means? She's not the only one. Remember when I stole a werewolf scent? That's exactly what they do. Alpha and Sebastian Ezekiel don't cook for themselves, and…" she paused, "I saw him clutching his chest in the throne hall."
Megan felt touched, she had noticed him clutching his chest too. "What should we do?"
"He needs to drink your blood while mating."

Sunny remained serious. "I think that's what Gabriel was trying to tell him. Once he returns to normal with Alpha Sebastian, there'll be no room for intruders, not even me. He'll know I'm not a werewolf. But it's fine. You can reassure him that I'm on your side."
"Fine! I accept it! But they don't care about me or even want me, that's the main issue!"
"That's why you need to prove yourself to them."

Sunny chuckled. "You can get your revenge later," she winked.
"So… how do I prove myself?"
"Correct!" Sunny clapped. "Follow me."
Megan followed her out of the building, still confused. "Where are we going?"
"You'll see… and…" Sunny frowned. "Why isn't your scent driving them crazy?"
"My mom's magic, of course."
"That's the problem. You can use it to bring Alpha Ezekiel down. The stronger the werewolf, the stronger the mate bond. You'll need to eat more to withstand their desires."
"Okay, okay," Megan nodded quickly, trying to end the topic.
But Sunny wasn't done. "Alpha Ezekiel needs it the most. He's your true mate. The Moon Goddess gave you both Alphas for a reason. Compared to Ezekiel, Alpha Sebastian is…" she shook her head.
"He hides too much. He's stubborn, always getting into fights. He shifts often during wars."
"Wow, what a great Alpha," Megan nodded. "But what about our aloof king?"
"He loves trouble and bigger challenges. He's fearless. Powerful beings always want to challenge him. That's why Athena's rank is higher in the Demon Kingdom. He intentionally took her along. He prefers using telekinesis over shifting, he thinks shifting is slow."
She smiled softly. "Alpha Ezekiel is the most beautiful wolf I've ever seen. The kind you'd never dare touch because it's dangerous. His pack rarely sees him like that."
"What about Sebastian?"
"Same, but different aura. Alpha Sebastian is playful and terrifying. He even laughs in wolf form. The kind of smile that makes you think it's harmless, until you see blood in his mouth."
"Ahh…" Megan's body trembled. "The things I read… they're actually happening to me."
"We're here," Sunny smiled.
Megan frowned at the forest. "I don't see anything…"
"Shhh," Sunny whispered, pointing. Megan followed her gaze and gasped. Ezekiel was there, groaning softly, holding onto a tree to keep himself upright.
"What's happening to him, why is he here?" Megan panicked, already wanting to rush to him.
"His wolf wants to come out, but his body is too weak," Sunny said quietly. "I think someone poisoned him with dark magic."
