Dariush said coldly like frostbite, already cutting through the atmosphere: "Come in."
At the same time, Dariush stood up, moved to the front of the desk, and leaned on it, crossing his arms under his chest.
The five men entered the office and immediately felt the heaviness of Dariush's presence and gaze on themselves, which caused them to sweat slightly.
But at the same time, Dariush noticed their disgusting and lustful gaze on Eira too. Dariush straightened up. He was taller than those men—he was 210cm tall—towering over them effortlessly with a dominating and cold presence.
Dariush said emotionlessly: "Welcome."
The men bowed deeper than necessary for a moment, greeting him with "Greetings, Lord Dariush" at the same time.
Dariush said: "Go straight to the point." (He narrowed his eyes, glaring at them.)
The men's faces paled, their hands trembling and their backs stiff. The front man said: "We want to make a deal." (His voice trembled slightly.)
Dariush's gaze darkened and grew heavier. At the same time, he stepped closer to them, leaning down slightly, looking directly at him: "Deal? What deal?" (His gaze was dagger-like into their bodies and souls, making their bodies tremble under his stare.)
The man gathered his courage to speak and said with a shaking voice: "We just want to make an alliance with you." (He was sweating, and his breathing was heavy.)
The other men were pale and sweating even more visibly now. Their legs almost gave out.
Dariush smirked darkly and tilted his head: "You want my wife, don't you?"
The men's eyes widened in horror as they realized their intention had been revealed so fast.
At the same time, Eira's eyes darkened, her eyebrows twisted.
One of the men was too scared; he pulled out a revolver instinctively to shoot Dariush.
Dariush didn't flinch and stepped aside, dodging the bullet.
He charged forward with a long step toward the guy with the gun, grabbing his gun and throwing it away. At the same time, he grabbed the man by the shoulder and pulled him closer, instantly starting to suck his blood from the neck. Dariush's speed was low, but his reaction time was surprisingly higher than normal.
All of the men were stunned. Eira didn't waste time and attacked very fast, breaking the other four men's legs. She didn't lack blood, so she was strong.
The men didn't even manage to react.
The four men screamed in agony. Some of them almost cried. One of them said: "Please forgive us!"
They tried to bow very deeply, but Eira's frostbitten gaze was on them. Her aura started to form around her, a mix of red and black, making them shudder violently and unable to move even a finger.
The man that Dariush sucked blood from had his clothes fall to the ground because his body vanished—Dariush hadn't only sucked his blood but everything within it too: every single muscle and bone.
Dariush almost threw up and thought: Being a vampire isn't that good; it's disgusting. I just killed him by sucking his blood. (He almost threw up again but held himself.) This is very disgusting. But I need to get used to it, whether I like it or not. This is my new life.
Dariush sighed, his breath turning into a small fog that sunlight from the window cast onto Dariush's body and breath, making him more intimidating. He turned to the other men, his pink eyes glowing slightly with his cold glare at them, and said coldly: "Very well, who's next?"
The men's faces filled with horror. They knew that they were next, so they just started crying with no hope left in their eyes.
On Eira's lips, there was a cold and satisfied smirk.

.
A few minutes later, none of those men were there anymore—just their clothes were on the ground.
Dariush wiped his bloody mouth with a small cloth and thought to himself: I almost lost myself in that bloodlust. But I still feel disgusted by it. (He shivered slightly.) But I need to get used to this taste. And on top of that, I need to control myself better, or I might turn into a monster that I don't like.
He this time felt he was going to throw up for real but swallowed it hard and said with disgust and unhappiness on his face: "Bleh!"
Eira giggled cutely and said: "Their blood wasn't good, right?"
Dariush just nodded and then said to Eira: "Yeah." (He lied this time.) "But thanks for helping me, dear." (He said the last part with honesty and a warm expression on his attractive face.)
Dariush looked down at his hands and thought for a moment: I don't know why, but I feel empty. It feels disgusting, and I feel like... I need something... I need someone. (He squinted his eyes for a moment, filled with longing, before looking up at Eira again.)
At the same time, her eyes lit up, and she rushed to him, wrapping her arms around Dariush's neck. Eira had an average height of 185cm tall. Then she said with love in her eyes: "No problem, my dear husband. Because I will do everything for you." (Her eyes showed adoration, and she smiled softly.)
Dariush was stunned for a moment before wrapping his arms around her waist, showing his first sign of affection and longing. And he thought: I can't let her betray me. But I need someone to help me too. So I need to be careful with my words while talking to her because she is like a double-edged sword that I am holding right in front of myself. Besides... I am still very weak; I can't afford to risk without thinking. And on top of that, this is just day one. I have a very long life to go.
Eira said shyly: "Dear husband, can I have a request?"
The blood smells started to fade slowly until they completely vanished.
Dariush paused for a moment to think and then said to her: "What is it?"
The atmosphere grew lighter and more intimate as she blushed and said: "Can you... sleep with me tonight? You haven't slept with me for a while."
Dariush's eyes widened before relaxing again. He shook his head and said with a faint smile on his lips: "Sorry, dear, but not now. I need to do a lot of things, so I'll be awake the whole night."
The room grew warmer, but not so much as to make them uncomfortable—rather, very pleasant and cozy.
Eira pouted playfully, resting her head on Dariush's chest and tracing a heart shape on his chest with her right hand finger. She said: "You always say that, but I miss you so much. You're unfair."
Dariush thought: Fuck, she's angry. I should say something that she might like.
Dariush patted her head gently. Eira looked up at him. Dariush smiled faintly and said: "I know, but I need to work, especially after this mess that happened. Especially now that everything is getting worse every single second that passes."
Eira nodded and smiled. Determination was burning like fire in her eyes: "Then let me help you too. I don't want to see you burn yourself from inside and out while your health isn't good right now." (At the same time, she let go of him gradually.)
Dariush sighed softly and said with a smirk on his lips: "Fine. But it's because I can't change your mind."
Eira got excited and said: "Yay! I will help as much as I can! And I will do my best and never disappoint you!"
Dariush couldn't help but chuckle heartily, and it was like a song in Eira's ear. She was stunned by its sound and said breathlessly: "Your laughter is beautiful, like always."
Dariush smirked and said: "Thanks. But we don't have much time. Let's start from here." (He turned around.) "Butler!....."
