Chapter 88 - Audrey Says “Nope, Ugly!”

"Ministry of Magic?"

Dumbledore furrowed his brows. Could this little girl be scheming against the Ministry?

"The Ministry wouldn't retract an order anyway." — There wasn't even such an order in the first place, so what could be retracted?

In an instant, Dumbledore could think of seventeen or eighteen excuses. No matter how Audrey stormed and raged, repeating the year was set in stone! Could she really replace the Minister?

Trust me, it's for your own good.

Audrey shrugged indifferently. "Fine, I'm going back."

In her mind, she compared things and still found Grindelwald more to her taste.

"By the way, Audrey," Dumbledore said suddenly, "I hear you have a good relationship with Harry Potter, but if he comes to you for help these next few days, don't get involved!"

Audrey rolled her eyes and got up. "Got it."

"Shriek!"

Fawkes reappeared in the Headmaster's office, delivering a letter without an envelope, slightly wrinkled, and fluttered into Audrey's arms.

Pet me, stay close.

Audrey stroked Fawkes' feathers and watched as Dumbledore unrolled the parchment to read, a smile unconsciously appearing on her face.

Well then, this is going to be another exciting summer!

After putting Fawkes back on his perch, Audrey pouted.

"I'm off, Professor Dumbledore!"

Whoosh!

"Master, should we seek help from the young master?"

Kiro asked Voldemort humbly and weakly.

Voldemort wasn't in top form either; his voice was quieter.

"Stop talking nonsense. Drink the unicorn blood now!"

The voice from the back of his mind was clearly impatient: "Something this small requires her help? You useless wretch!"

Voldemort's thinking was simple—he believed in survival of the strongest. If he appeared weak, no one would submit, not even his own daughter.

Kiro reluctantly drank the last vial of unicorn blood. He didn't know what method the revived Dark Lord would use to restore his body. Perhaps with the Philosopher's Stone?

Hopefully, the Dark Lord wouldn't consume all the Stone's power…

Kiro sighed faintly and resumed his interrupted writing. He was forging a letter—falsely from the Ministry—to lure Dumbledore away.

From here, the events no longer concerned Audrey.

She waited idly for OWL results and the upcoming holiday.

Reading, watching recordings, driving tanks, bombing Noberta's lair…

She was even bored enough to check Ukraine's quarterly financial report.

The massive parchment spanned four to five feet, filled with data.

Painful memories of studying mathematics attacked her. She flipped to the end and saw total revenue: $164.5 billion.

Yes, only the initial asset purchases used Kuban currency; later, all her settlements were in USD.

She had no clear idea how much wealth she possessed. When she first crossed over, she never imagined becoming the richest wizard.

Back in Ukraine, crazy buying sprees had acquired real estate at barely a tenth of their value. By this calculation, she owned tens of trillions of dollars in real estate!

[Author's note: Wow, a Harry Potter fanfic turned into a billionaire story.]

What does this mean? She could probably buy several wizarding nations' worth of assets.

Ukraine was at this point officially the world's third-largest military power! With Grindelwald's direction, the Wizard Purist Party had helped Audrey seize over thirty percent of the country's resources!

Audrey's next plan was to gradually liquidate these assets, exchanging them with more stable countries—after all, the Ukrainian government was unpredictable.

Of course, the Purists could take power themselves, but Audrey didn't think the U.S. would allow it. Better to disperse her assets worldwide and quietly get rich.

If the Purists wanted a revolution, let them have it! She wouldn't join; she was merely the unassuming financial backer behind the movement.

Putting the financial report aside, Audrey, the new oligarch, buried herself in gold coins.

Not just golden Galleons this time—those had little actual gold—but real coins: ancient coins and newly minted ones.

The engineers at the Mariupol mint were stunned by the order—who still minted coins in this era?

Audrey had just closed her eyes when something seemed to approach her. Switching to her invisible creature form, she glimpsed two and a half minutes into the future—her perception had improved.

Three seconds later, she lay back down, already knowing who was coming.

A black mist surged into her room.

"Little Nagini!"

Facing her old "father," Audrey immediately went into character, hesitating two seconds before feigning disbelief:

"It's you?"

"It is."

"Why have you become like this?"

Through the swirling black mist, a noseless face could barely be made out.

"Harry Potter! Again, Harry Potter!"

Audrey shook her head in pity. "I feel sorry for your plight."

Voldemort: …

"I'm weak right now, Little Nagini. Can I hide inside you for a while?"

What? He wanted to parasitize her?

Audrey was horrified and instinctively activated her strongest state: dragon form with Dementor physiology—attack and defense combined, capable of soul damage.

No way would she let Voldemort live inside her! She wasn't Kiro!

Ugly, smelly, balding!

She was a celebrity!

"Nope, ugly!"

If Voldemort dared, she'd fight him to the death.

Voldemort hovered silently, sensing the fierce and vicious power radiating from her. He didn't know how she achieved it, but in his current state, he couldn't take her.

Better not to sour the relationship—he'd need her later. After all, blood ties shouldn't be exploited recklessly.

In an instant, Voldemort weighed the pros and cons.

"I will return, Little Nagini. Protect yourself until I do!"

The black mist passed through the wall and into the Black Lake.

Audrey lay back down, sighed, then relaxed and closed her eyes.

She had been too clever.

Even in this state, Voldemort could freely move around Hogwarts—the protective magic was meaningless to him.

Don't forget, her room had multiple magical traps and defensive arrays!

Such profound magical knowledge and exceptional skill—no one would dare drag her into a battle among top-tier wizards!

She had once planned to inherit the Lestrange family after the final battle, but now things were completely different.

The moment she graduated, she would slip away!

By then, Dumbledore would have no reason to hold her back; even the strongest White Wizard had to keep some face.

And England? Whoever wants to stay, stay!

The world is huge—everywhere can be my home!

Anyway, the first school year had ended.

As for repeating a year? Hmph. We'll see over the summer!

Thinking of all this, Audrey drifted into dreams.
