"That's where it started," Kaelen said, memorizing the coordinates as the Sentinels began to reform, their red eyes glowing brighter with rage.


"Kaelen, we have to go!" Lyra grabbed his arm.


But the door to the sanctum burst open. It wasn't more Sentinels. It was Silas, flanked by a dozen Aether-infused guards.


"Thank you, Kaelen," Silas said, his mechanical face twisting into a grin. "I couldn't get the Orrery to talk to me. It needed a 'Founding Soul' to wake it up."
