Chapter 58: Robin Eats the Wind God Pterosaur Fruit
"Not bad. With this new bounty, I suppose a lot of pirates will come looking for me, huh?"
Jiang Qize smiled and nodded to himself.
Out here on the vast sea, it wasn't only bounty hunters who hunted pirates—pirates hunted each other, too, seeking to boost their fame. That was why these waters were in constant chaos; a single mistake could cost you your life.
But to him, pirates meant money—and money meant strength.
With enough money, he could endlessly grow stronger.
"Captain, I want to get stronger too—just like Brother camon!" Little Robin lifted her chin, her big dark eyes gleaming with determination as she looked up at him.
"You want to eat a dinosaur fruit?" Jiang Qize asked softly.
He hesitated. Though Robin already possessed the Flower-Flower Fruit, the dinosaur fruits were created by his system. He didn't know whether they would conflict with a Devil Fruit—and cause her body to explode.
"I do!" Robin nodded firmly.
"But I'm not sure what will happen if you eat it. If something goes wrong… you'll die." Jiang Qize's tone was solemn.
"I'm not afraid."
Her voice was small but unwavering.
She had seen how much stronger camon became after eating a dinosaur fruit—his physical power skyrocketing. Before, he couldn't withstand her Flower-Flower attacks, but now, he could easily block them.
Though she was still young and weak compared to him, there was no denying it: the dinosaur fruits truly granted tremendous strength.
"…All right then. Let's give it a try."
Jiang Qize finally decided.
It was a fifty-fifty gamble—life or death. No one could predict the outcome.

He returned to his cabin and took out a Devil Fruit.

He had captured it back on Little Garden. There had been only one large specimen like it—others were smaller, extremely rare.
Back on deck, Jiang Qize looked at Robin with a serious expression.
"Robin, once you eat this fruit, there's no turning back."
"Captain, I'm not afraid!"
Her eyes were filled with determination, her small face resolute.
"Good. Then eat it."
Jiang Qize handed her the Wind God Pterosaur Fruit.
Raptorex and camon stood close by, watching with tense expressions. If this failed, the delicate little girl before them would die instantly.
Robin took the fruit with both hands. Her small mouth opened, and she bit down.
Crunch!
As her teeth sank in, the Wind God Pterosaur Fruit dissolved into a streak of light that entered her body.
Everyone held their breath—especially Jiang Qize.
If this worked, the dinosaur fruits could forge an army of powerful warriors—and reshape the balance of power across the seas.

A surge of wind burst from Robin's body, rippling outward in waves.
She blinked, looking down at herself curiously, feeling the sudden rush of strength. Then her small frame began to change.
Boom…
Two enormous leathery wings unfurled from her back, vast enough to blot out half the deck beneath her.
Her tiny head lengthened into a sharp, meter-long snout; her beak alone stretched half a meter, her neck extended half again as much. Below, her legs resembled those of a crane—but the talons gleamed with a cold metallic light, each claw larger than a grown man's foot.
Whirr—whirr—!
The transformed Robin—now a Wind God Pterosaur—flapped her great wings once, and a fierce wind swept across the deck.
Her massive form lifted effortlessly into the air, soaring higher and higher.
"Yaaah~!"
A clear cry echoed through the sky as Little Robin, reborn as a Wind God Pterosaur, flew freely among the clouds.
