Chapter 52: A New Day
Rumble!!
The two giants set the ship down on the ground with a thunderous crash, startling all the birds in the surrounding forest into flight.
The hundred-meter-long ship had been sitting there for eighty years. Moss and weeds had grown thickly over it, turning the hull a lush green. Small animals even nested inside, living comfortably among the decay.
The underside of the ship, however, had turned dark with age.
"The keel's still fine, but some areas will need patching up," Brogy said loudly.
The ships of the Giant race were all built from the finest wood—strong enough to last centuries, sometimes even millennia—so they were incredibly durable.
And as among the strongest of the giants, both Dorry and Brogy had learned to do everything themselves. Ship repair was hardly beyond their skill.
"Good," Jiang Qize said, smiling faintly.
He hadn't expected the giants to be so capable. No wonder Charlotte Linlin had coveted the Giants—beyond their immense power, they possessed so many practical talents.
Most importantly, the Giants lived deep in the New World, and their kingdom was among the strongest nations in the entire world.
"It seems from now on, aside from gaining control over a few key people, I should focus mainly on the Giants," Jiang Qize thought to himself.
If he could command the Giants, he'd have a powerful base in the New World. Unless the very top powers came after him, he'd have nothing to fear.
From what he knew, both Dorry and Brogy hailed from Elbaf Village—the birthplace of the greatest Giant warriors.
If the chance arose, he intended to go there and use dinosaur fruits to create an army of Giant Dinosaur Warriors.
"Let's head back for now. It's getting late—we can deal with the rest tomorrow," Dorry said, glancing at the sky.
The sun was setting, the golden light reflecting off the sea, painting it in dazzling hues.
"Right. Let's carry the ship back too."
Their camp was about an hour's walk away—even for two giants. That alone showed how massive Little Garden truly was.
Dorry and Brogy hoisted the enormous ship onto their shoulders and began striding back through the forest.

Time passed quickly.
Before long, dawn arrived.
The sun rose, breathing life into the misty ancient island. The fog caught the light, scattering it into shimmering colors.
At the foot of a great mountain, the two giants and the Raptorex crew were sleeping against the rock face. The Tyrannosaurus was lying nearby, while Jiang Qize and his companions had dug out a small cave to sleep in.
"Ah~"
Jiang Qize let out a soft groan as he slowly opened his eyes.
"A new day begins… I can't wait."
A faint smile touched his lips. Everything was unfolding just as he had hoped.
After a while, everyone woke and began their daily work.
Dorry, along with Raptorex Camon and the others, went out to capture dinosaurs, while Brogy stayed behind to repair the ship, with little Robin helping him.
Everything moved along in perfect order.
Jiang Qize kept reclaiming the dinosaurs they caught, converting them into dinosaur fruits.
Most were land-dwelling species—flying dinosaurs were rare, since they were harder to catch. But with Dorry and the Raptorex's strength, they managed to capture dozens within half a day.
Now, before him lay more than sixty dinosaur fruits—each equivalent to a Devil Fruit. The sight was astonishing.
"Looks like after I visit Skypiea, I'll have to make a trip to the Sabaody Archipelago… and maybe track down Doflamingo. He should only be in his teens right about now, right?"
Jiang Qize murmured to himself.
