Chapter 51: Tricking the Red Ogre

"Dorry, you…"

Brogy looked at Dorry with a bitter expression.

Normally, with his personality, he'd never make such a face—but being tricked by his closest friend and brother-in-arms was something even he couldn't just brush off.

"Brogy, following the Captain isn't a bad thing. We've been fighting for eighty years already. It's about time we went out and saw what the sea looks like now."

Dorry shook his head as he spoke, showing not a hint of guilt.

Brogy shot him a glare.

Buzz!

His body suddenly began to change rapidly.

"Roooar!"

A deafening roar burst from his mouth.

In the next instant, he transformed into a massive, twenty-meter-long dinosaur. His skin was patterned like a fish's scales, alternating in color, yet he looked fierce and terrifying—his sharp teeth glinting with cold light.

His forelimbs were small like a T. rex's, but his hind legs were immensely thick and powerful.

Brogy studied his body for a while, then returned to his human form.

He looked toward Jiang Qize, lowered his head, and said, "Captain."

"As long as you don't blame me," Jiang Qize said with a faint smile.

"Of course not!"

Brogy shook his head firmly.

"But Captain, we'll need to return to Elbaf first. Our weapons are no longer fit for battle."

Now that he had accepted Jiang Qize as his master, he knew it was time to leave Little Garden.

Their weapons, after eighty long years of constant fighting, were already worn out and damaged—usable, but barely.

"Mm. How do you plan to get back?"

Jiang Qize nodded.

"There's a ship of ours on Ancient Island. Not sure if it still works."

"Let's go take a look. If it's still seaworthy, you can leave in a couple of days. In the meantime, help me capture some dinosaurs."

"Understood, Captain."

"Gabababa!"

"Dinghihihi!"

The two giant warriors laughed heartily together.

They then made their way to the other side of Little Garden, where a hidden cove lay concealed.

Ancient trees towered all around, their thick canopies blocking the sky. Huge vines coiled around their trunks, and the air was heavy with moisture.

From time to time, roars and bird cries echoed through the distance.

Thud, thud, thud…

Crack!

Rumble!

Four massive legs crushed smaller trees underfoot. Huge hands pushed aside anything in their path, toppling trees with thunderous crashes.

Dorry and Brogy, the two giants, emerged.

Jiang Qize stood on Dorry's shoulder, while young Robin perched on Brogy's, her wide eyes full of wonder as she curiously took in the world around her—just as any girl her age would.

They arrived at the hidden harbor.

Before them lay a U-shaped bay of emerald-green water, surrounded by lush vines, some of which stretched down into the sea itself, giving the place a serene, almost magical beauty.

Moored less than ten meters from shore was an enormous ship—over a hundred meters long. The sight made Jiang Qize's eyes widen.

He hadn't expected the ship to be that big.

Then again, it made sense—after all, the Giant Warrior Pirates were made entirely of giants. If the ship weren't huge, it wouldn't fit even a few of them.

And clearly, this wasn't their only ship.

"Brogy, let's haul the ship up and take a look."

Dorry inspected the vessel and called out loudly.

"Gabababa! Let's do it!"

Brogy laughed in agreement.

The two of them waded into the water, splashing waves high into the air.

Fortunately, it wasn't too deep, so they didn't sink.

Rumble!

Gripping the bow and stern, the two unleashed their immense strength. The colossal, hundred-meter ship—easily over a hundred tons—rose straight out of the water, sending the sea into violent waves that crashed and echoed with "splash, splash!"
