The Lunan Corporate-State is a council-governed utltra-capitalist nation consisting of the nine systems within the Teta Sector of the galaxy, connected to the Perseus Sector via the Archades Corridor.
Systems: Lune (Voss), Grendel (Northrop-Grumman), Montauk (Lockheed-Martin), Bellright (Bellweather), Svalland (Vellund), Mikoshi (Aramaka), Freeden (Freedom), Navis (Waypoint), ? (?)
Politics: The Corporate-State is governed by a Board of Directors, each member being the chosen representative or majority shareholder of one of the state's nine Mega-Corporations. The board is overseen by High Factotum Shaw Voss, who holds power to veto any board decisions passed with less than 70% approval rate.
Military: Primarily the Bellweather Military Contractor and Freedom Military Contractor, though the Lunan Honor Guard is a four-squadron fleet of starships privately controlled by High Factotum Shaw Voss, fielding ten Infantry Legions and seven WarMech Lances. Additionally, each mega-corporation is afforded the right to field a private defense force.
Mega-Corporations:
Voss War Munitions Manufacturing: MegaCorporation which produces the Ocelot and Lynx War Mechanica, controls the Lune System, and Shaw Voss is the majority shareholder with 67.8% equity.
Northrop-Grumman Aerospace: Major producer of the VSF-01 Osprey stellar fightercraft, controls the Grendel System, and controlling equity lies with the Pioneer Investment Group at 18.91%.
Lockheed-Martin Interstellar: Major producer of the Lunar-Class Battleships and Avalon-Class Jumpships, controls the Montauk System, and controlling equity lies with the Vanguard Group at 23.98%.
Bellweather Military Contractor: Primary (but not unary) armed forces provider to the Corporate-State with a three-squadron Fleet, ten WarMech Lances, and ten infantry legions. Bellweather controls the Bellright System and Marcus Bellweather is the majority shareholder at 38.56% Equity.
Vellund Mining & Processing Lmtd: The only producer of the Duralloy Composite used in the State's starships and warmechs, controls the Svalland System, and controlling equity lies with the Balmung Group at 50.01%
Aramaka Corporation: Holds a monopoly over pharmaceuticals, cyber technology, and is a major arms producer. Aramaka controls the Mikoshi System, and Sakura Aramaka is the majority shareholder with 49.7% equity.
Freedom Military Contractor: A new player in the private military business, Freedom Military Contractor runs two Naval Squadrons, five WarMech Lances, and three infantry legions with the intention to expand. Freedom controls the Freeden System, and Shaw Voss is the majority shareholder with 38.98% equity
Waypoint Game & Agriculture: The main agricultural and protein production center for the upper echelon of the Corporate-State with a recent acquisition allowing the company to now provide a meal service, controls the Navis System, and and Shaw Voss is the majority shareholder with 73% equity.
