Leaving the Rainbow Mist, Luffy was still excitedly talking about what happened inside.
"I thought it was quite fun, if only I could go play there again... Ah!!!" As he was speaking, wood chips fell on everyone.
"Is it raining, but it doesn't seem like it, is it hail? Strange, what is this stuff?" Usopp and Sanji wondered.
Suddenly, the going merry was enveloped in a shadow.
Orochimaru instinctively looked up... A giant pirate ship was falling from the sky.
"Holy crap..." Orochimaru, realizing what was happening, sent out his clones and began to row faster.
"What are you guys staring at?! Come help! Run!! Everyone else, hold onto things on the ship... Don't Fall out." Zoro and Sanji ran over and started gripping the oars, rowing so fast their movements blurred.
The giant pirate ship crashed into the sea, creating a huge wave, and the going merry swayed continuously under the impact of the waves.
Things kept falling from the sky, and everyone rowing the going merry seemed to be playing some kind of dodging game, darting left and right.
Finally, they narrowly avoided everything, and the sea returned to calm... The few who were rowing gasped for fresh air, having held their breath while rowing, almost suffocating.
"Hey... Usopp... What are you holding?" Nami asked, her voice trembling, looking at Usopp and something he was hugging.
Usopp opened his eyes to see a skeleton in his arms.
"Ahhhhhhhh!!!" Usopp, startled, threw it to Nami.
"Idiot, don't throw it at me!" Nami kicked the poor skeleton away.
"Why would a ship Fall from the sky? It's too strange," Luffy said, looking up at the clear sky.
"But there's nothing in the sky," Zoro said, staring intently at the sky.
"Ah!!" Nami shrieked.
"What do we do? The log pose is broken; it's stuck pointing upwards!" (。•ˇ‸ˇ•。)
Robin walked over, "No... I think it's attracted by an island with a stronger magnetic field, so it's already reset to a new log."
Since the log pose is pointing upwards without moving, it means there's an island in the sky. However, I don't know much about Sky Island, and I've never seen one."
Nami didn't believe her. "...That's impossible. How can an island and sea float in the sky?"
Orochimaru held a box of log poses he had bought for Nami earlier and placed it in front of her. "Robin isn't wrong... If only one was broken, that would be one thing, but are all of these broken?" All the log poses in the box pointed to the same place: the sky.
Orochimaru pushed his non-existent glasses. "Sherlock Holmes once said that when you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth."
"Hey... Hey... Orochimaru... Who is Sherlock Holmes?" Luffy asked, confused.
Orochimaru ignored Luffy. His right hand slid from top to bottom, his thumb and index finger extended, the other three fingers clasped, pointing straight ahead. "Then! The scheming frog keeps touching your belly!"
After speaking, he quickly raised his hand, pointing to the sky, "☞ Sky Island must be tens of thousands of meters above our heads!"
"Wow! Wow! So cool!" Usopp and Chopper clapped excitedly.
Chopper mimicked Orochimaru, his eyes serious, his finger pointing forward. "Scheming frog! Keep touching your belly!"
O(≧▽≦)O He then rolled around happily on the ground. "Hahahaha... So cool."
Zoro and Sanji's jaws dropped. No... Orochimaru, what are you doing... Is this really you, Orochimaru?
Orochimaru came to his senses and covered his forehead... What was that just now? Where did this line, seemingly etched into his soul, come from? He felt like he had been possessed by a certain elementary school student for a moment.
Robin suppressed the upturn of her lips. "Orochimaru is right, Navigator-san."
What you should be considering now is how to get to the sky.
No matter how many strange situations this ship gets caught in, or how great a crisis it faces,
you must never doubt the log pose in your hand. This is an iron rule of navigation.
In this sea, the first thing you should doubt is your so-called common sense in your head. There will definitely be an island where the log pose points."
Nami fell silent and began to study carefully. Everyone decided to rest where they were.
Chopper, Usopp, and Luffy mimicked Orochimaru's expression and actions from earlier. "Scheming frog!"
"Luffy, no, it's not like that," Usopp said, then his expression became even more serious, "Scheming frog!"
"Wowow! Exactly the same!" This time, Luffy and Chopper clapped like seals together.
Orochimaru, passing by, turned red. He punched Luffy and Usopp on the head, one punch each, then dragged them aside and threw them to Nami. "Get to work!!"
Chopper hugged Zoro's leg, trembling.
Orochimaru went into the lab by himself to sulk.
A moment later, Luffy excitedly pulled something out of some wreckage.
"Nami!!! Look!! I found something good!" He said, unfolding the map in his hand.
"Sky Plea!!! Does this mean Sky Island really exists?!"
Yahoo! Luffy and Usopp, arms around each other's shoulders, danced with Chopper on their heads. "An incredible island! We can go to the Island of Dreams!"
While Nami was thinking about how to get to Sky Island,
Usopp made a simple diving device, and Luffy, Sanji, and Zoro went into the sea to look for clues.
Suddenly, a monkey ship approached... Yes, it was a monkey... There was a big monkey at the bow holding a gong... A strange Shoujou said they were a salvage team... The Shoujou King was going to dive down to salvage personally, which was inexplicable.
Then they encountered a sea turtle that could eat an entire ship, and it swallowed Luffy along with a shipwreck.
And then, suddenly, it got dark.
Orochimaru came out with a gloomy face, his mouth twitching as he looked at the dark sky.
"I was only in there for a moment, what kind of trouble is Luffy causing now?"
"No, no, it's not Luffy... Luffy was eaten by a turtle, what do we do?" Chopper cried, hugging Orochimaru's leg... As soon as Chopper finished speaking, Zoro and Sanji climbed up, dragging Luffy... A monkey (the Shoujou King) jumped up with them.
Zoro was about to punch away the monkey trying to steal treasure... Everyone watched in horror as five figures stood between heaven and earth behind the monkey, with wings on their backs and giant harpoons in their hands, stabbing down from above.
Orochimaru's face even turned pale. What in the world was that?
"Monsters!!!!" Luffy's howl woke everyone up.
The group once again entered extreme speeding mode. Although he felt bad for the Merry, Orochimaru shouted in his heart while speeding! A power boat!! I must have a power boat!!!
After who knows how long, everyone finally escaped from the darkness and collapsed weakly on the deck. Besides them, a monkey had also snuck in. This monkey didn't seem to have recovered from the recent scare, curling up pitifully. As soon as it spoke, Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji kicked it away.
"Ah!" The monkey arced through the air and then fell into the sea.
"This guy is so annoying," Luffy said, frowning.
"Yeah, he kept chattering inside," Zoro echoed.
"Right, he's really irritating," Sanji nodded.
Afterward, the group began to examine their salvaged items. These items included all sorts of strange and unusual things, but nothing useful.
Orochimaru found a red triangular octopus in the armor. The little thing was quite unique... He decided to keep it.
The group was still making a ruckus when Robin handed Nami an Eternal Pose.
"I snatched this from that salvage ship; you should find it useful."
Nami shed tears of gratitude. "Only you understand me."
Meanwhile... Luffy was trying to snatch Orochimaru's octopus.
"Octopus! Hey... Orochimaru, let's make takoyaki with it."
"No... This is mine, I'm going to keep it as a pet."
Robin sweatdropped. "You really have your work cut out for you..."
