Chapter 35 - Chapter 33

An Invitation to the Future

The atmosphere in the room slowly softened.

The tension of battle, secrets, and revelations faded into something almost… warm.

Keith remained seated for a while longer, talking casually with them—about technology, about medicine, about the direction the world was moving toward. Every sentence he spoke made it clearer that he wasn't just powerful—he was thinking years ahead, moving pieces before others even realized there was a board.

After some time, Keith stood.

"There's something important I want to tell you all."

Everyone's attention focused instantly.

"In two months," Keith said calmly,

"the Runcandel Vision HQ will officially launch."

Rum's eyes gleamed with interest.

Gin crossed his arms, already measuring security risks.

Ethan nodded with quiet approval.

"I want all of you there."

Kir nodded quickly.

"I'll be there."

"So will I," Ethan said without hesitation.

Gin smirked.

"If I'm invited, I'll come."

Rum gave a short bow.

"I wouldn't miss it."

Keith turned to Karasuma Renya.

"Great-grandfather," Keith added,

"you too."

Renya smiled.

"Of course."

Keith paused—then looked directly at Renya again.

"And…" Keith said softly,

"bring her with you."

For a brief moment, Renya said nothing.

Then he smiled knowingly.

"…I understand."

From the shadows near the doorway, Vermouth stiffened slightly, her expression unreadable.

Keith didn't look back.

He simply picked up his coat.

"Well then," he said lightly,

"goodbye, ladies."

Kir froze.

"…L-ladies?" she repeated.

Curaçao's face turned red instantly.

Both of them watched as Keith walked away—calm, confident, untouchable.

The doors closed behind him.

Silence followed.

Kir pressed a hand to her chest, heart racing.

Curaçao looked away, ears burning.

"…He's unfair," Curaçao muttered.

Gin chuckled quietly.

Rum adjusted his glasses.

Ethan smiled to himself.

Renya leaned back in his chair, eyes filled with pride.

"Two months," Renya murmured.

"The world is going to change."

And somewhere in the forest, Keith Argus Runcandel stepped into the night—already moving toward the future he was building.
