Chapter 38 - Chapter 36

The Arrival of Those Who Will Change the World

Morning light bathed the Runcandel mansion in gold.

The air itself seemed to shift.

Keith stood calmly at the front steps, platinum–silver hair catching the sunlight, sapphire-blue eyes serene yet commanding. He wore a simple tailored outfit—nothing extravagant—yet the presence he carried made the entire estate feel smaller around him.

Then—

Space rippled.

One by one, eight figures appeared within a gentle shimmer of light.

For a brief moment, silence ruled.

Then eight hearts skipped in unison.

First Sight

Grayfia Lucifuge------

was the first to regain composure—yet even she froze for half a second.

Elegant. Calm. Perfectly controlled.

And still—

So this is… him.

Her crimson eyes lingered on Keith longer than intended.

Albedo-----

felt her breath hitch.

Silver hair. Noble posture. Eyes like polished sapphires.

"…He's dangerous," she thought, lips curving faintly.

And I want him to look at only me.

Kuroka-----

Kuroka's ears twitched, tail swaying unconsciously before she caught herself.

"Oho~?" she purred internally.

Cute, strong, and confident? Jackpot.

Gamma-----

Gamma, normally composed, adjusted her glasses—twice.

"So young… yet this aura," she analyzed.

A king in the making.

Yor forger----

Yor Forger stood perfectly still, assassin instincts screaming.

Strong. Very strong.

Her cheeks warmed slightly.

And kind… I can tell.

Sylpha Langlis-----

Sylpha Langlis swallowed, eyes wide.

"He's… beautiful," she whispered in disbelief.

Saya Takagi-----

Saya Takagi's strategist mind went into overdrive.

This isn't just a client. This is someone who will reshape the world.

Chisato Hasegawa-----

Chisato Hasegawa smiled softly, eyes sharp.

Interesting… very interesting.

One unspoken thought echoed through all of them:

"I'll make him fall for me."

Keith's First Words

Keith stepped forward, calm and composed.

"Welcome," he said evenly.

"To the Runcandel estate."

His gaze briefly paused on Albedo and Kuroka.

"One thing first," he added gently.

"For the outside world—please hide your wings, horns, and tails."

There was no suspicion.

No fear.

Only quiet consideration.

Albedo blinked.

"…You're protecting us."

Kuroka grinned warmly.

"Hehehe~ such a thoughtful master."

They nodded at once, power folding seamlessly away.

Both felt something unfamiliar.

Warmth.

Assignments of Power

Keith turned, voice steady—authoritative without force.

"These are your roles."

The air seemed to tighten as names and positions were spoken.

Gamma

"You will be the CEO of the Runcandel Group."

Gamma stiffened—then bowed deeply.

"I will exceed all expectations."

Albedo

"You'll serve as COO of the Runcandel Group."

Albedo's smile was radiant.

"I exist to manage what belongs to you."

Saya Takagi

"You'll be my personal secretary."

Saya adjusted her glasses, eyes blazing.

"I won't let a single detail escape."

Chisato Hasegawa

"You're the Head of R&D and Medical Division."

Chisato's lips curved.

"How exciting."

Yor Forger

"You'll act as bodyguard and assassin."

Yor bowed formally.

"I will protect you with my life."

Kuroka

"Bodyguard and assassin as well."

Kuroka saluted playfully.

"Leave the dirty work to me~"

Grayfia Lucifuge

"You will be Head Maid of the Runcandel Mansion."

Grayfia bowed with flawless elegance.

"I will ensure perfection."

Sylpha Langlis

"Deputy maid."

Sylpha nodded eagerly.

"I'll do my best!"

Not one of them hesitated.

Not one refused.

Entering the Mansion

Keith gestured toward the doors.

"Please—come inside."

The doors opened.

Inside, Darius and Clara Runcandel were waiting.

Keith smiled faintly.

"Grandfather. Grandmother. These are the people I've hired—for the company and the mansion."

One by one, the women bowed respectfully.

Darius studied them carefully.

Then laughed.

"Well," he said proudly,

"Keith, you never do things halfway."

Clara smiled warmly.

"You're all welcome here. Treat this place as your home."

Grayfia inclined her head gracefully.

"Thank you, Lady Runcandel."

For the first time since arriving, the summoned women felt it clearly.

This wasn't just employment.

This was belonging.

Keith turned slightly, unaware of the gazes following him—admiration, loyalty, desire intertwining.

Outside the mansion, the world remained ignorant.

Inside—

An empire had just gained its core pillars.
