Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

Hospital Room – Late Night

Keith Argus Yamamoto slowly opened his eyes.

For the first time in years—

The constant headache that had plagued him since childhood was gone.

Completely.

A deep breath escaped his lips as something far heavier than pain settled into his mind.

Memories.

Not just fragments—but an entire lifetime.

Boardrooms.

Battlefields.

Strategies that decided the fate of companies… and soldiers.

He remembered it all.

In his past life, he had been a genius businessman—someone who moved markets with a sentence.

And a former army colonel, hardened by command, war, and responsibility.

Keith closed his eyes briefly.

"So… this is the Detective Conan world," he murmured calmly, piecing together familiar names, events, and timelines from memory.

Everything aligned.

When he opened his eyes again—

Knock. Knock.

"Come in," Keith said.

The door opened, and two familiar figures peeked inside.

Ran Mouri and Sonoko Suzuki, both nine years old, stepped into the room nervously.

"Keith… are you feeling better?" Ran asked softly.

Keith smiled.

That single smile made both girls freeze.

It was the first time they had truly seen his eyes—no colored lenses, no concealment.

Clear.

Deep.

Beautiful beyond words.

For a moment, both girls forgot how to breathe.

"Thank you," Keith said gently. "For helping me."

Ran's face turned bright red.

Sonoko swallowed hard, her heart racing.

T-this is unfair… Sonoko thought. He's way too handsome…

Keith reached out and gently patted both of their heads.

"Thank you, my princesses."

Both girls instantly turned red—like ripe tomatoes.

"P-PRINCESSES?!" Sonoko squeaked.

Ran looked like she might faint.

Keith laughed softly, a rare, light sound.

Sonoko gathered her courage.

"Keith… why do you always hide your eyes? They're… really beautiful."

Keith raised a finger and gently placed it over his lips.

"My grandfather told me to hide them," he said quietly.

"And to dye my hair blonde instead of its natural silver-platinum color."

He smiled conspiratorially.

"This will be our secret."

Ran and Sonoko exchanged a glance.

Both raised their fingers to their lips.

"It's our secret," they said together.

Keith nodded.

Outside the room, Sonoko's driver waited. Keith thanked him sincerely before turning back to the girls.

"You should go home now," he said. "Your parents will be worried."

Both nodded reluctantly.

Before leaving, they turned back.

"Keith," Ran asked shyly, "what's your ideal woman?"

Keith answered without hesitation.

"Someone kind.

Someone beautiful.

And most importantly—someone who loves me truly."

Both girls nodded seriously, memorizing every word.

Then they left.

The room fell silent.

Keith lay back against the pillow.

And then—

A sound echoed in his mind.

Sign-In System Activated.

Keith's eyes sharpened instantly.

"A system?" he asked calmly. "What type are you?"

This is a Sign-In System.

Rewards will be granted based on daily, monthly, yearly, and higher-tier sign-ins.

Keith nodded.

"Then… sign in."

Keith froze.

"…Those skills."

He knew them.

They were overpowered unique skills from That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime—belonging to Rimuru Tempest.

Even before evolution, they were absurd.

After evolution?

They were monsters.

"…This is a very good start," Keith muttered.

"Merge the skills."

Confirmed.

The process completed instantly.

"Is there a status panel?" Keith asked.

"Open it."

Keith relaxed, his breathing steady.
