"Very well, now back up! Ladies."
After speaking, Homelander turned around to face the Titan Hulk, who had completely finished his mutation.
"Come on, big guy."
"Let's see if you, all drugged up, can make me break a little sweat."
"Hoooarrghh!!"
Hulk seemed to understand the provocation and let out a roar, his giant foot stomping the ground violently.
The road surface surged like ocean waves, rushing toward Homelander with an aura like a demon god.
Homelander's expression remained unchanged as his body paused, placing his feet one in front of the other in a firm bow lunge.
Boom!!
Homelander collided head-on with Hulk's chest.
The compressed air pressure between the two exploded into a terrifying shockwave, sending all surrounding objects flying.
If it were the original Hulk, he would have sent himself flying back from such a hit from Homelander.
But this time, Hulk actually managed to push Homelander back half a step.
"Good... decent strength!"
A flash of excitement crossed Homelander's eyes. He was beginning to understand Saitama's desire for a clash of evenly matched power.
He didn't give Hulk a chance to react, grabbing Hulk's thick waist with both hands.
"Take off!!"
Boom!
Homelander exerted force with his legs, and the concrete on the ground shattered instantly.
Pushing the nearly six-meter-tall Hulk, he shot straight into the night sky like a rocket.
"Let go... Hulk!!"
Hulk struggled frantically in the air, his hands constantly hammering at Homelander's back.
Every strike produced a loud boom like a giant bell, yet Homelander's body of steel held firm against these attacks.
"Don't be nervous, big guy. We're going to the seaside for some fresh air!"
Homelander changed direction and accelerated in mid-air, breaking the sound barrier.
In the blink of an eye, the two figures disappeared into the night sky, leaving behind only the dissipating roar of a sonic boom.
On the streets of Manhattan, there was a momentary second of silence.
Then, the real chaotic battle erupted.
"Listen up! Time to work!"
Jessica shouted, beginning to assign tasks.
"Robbie! Protect the civilians! Angela! You can fly, Iron Man is yours! Wanda! Flush out that acrobat firing arrows from the shadows!"
"Copy that, Boss!"
The Vought heroes scattered instantly, each finding their own opponent.
And Jessica's own target was clear: Thor, who was trying to look cool holding a lamppost.
"Friday, clear the targets!" Tony Stark ordered coldly from the air.
Dozens of Iron Legion armors swarmed down, palm cannons and micro-missiles pouring down like rain.
Boom, boom, boom!
Flames instantly shot up on the street, and explosions rang out one after another.
"Ah! Help!"
Citizens who hadn't had time to evacuate screamed and fled in all directions.
"Don't be afraid! Get behind me!"
Robbie Baldwin shouted as he rushed into the most crowded area.
Facing the incoming missiles and pulse cannons, he didn't dodge, but instead opened his arms to meet them.
Bang! Boom!
The attacks hit him but caused him no harm.
On the contrary, after his body absorbed the energy, he began to emit a dazzling blue light.
"Hah!"
Robbie let out a shout, releasing the absorbed energy.
A massive blue translucent energy shield appeared out of thin air, firmly protecting the dozens of citizens and the arriving Police inside.
Explosive shrapnel and shockwaves hit the shield, creating ripples but failing to break through in the slightest.
"Good job, Bouncy Ball Kid!" A National Guard lieutenant hiding behind the shield wiped the cold sweat from his forehead and gave Robbie a thumbs up.
"We need support!"
Jessica watched the Iron Man armors flying all over the sky, feeling her scalp go numb.
She pressed her communicator.
"Service Center! This is Jewel! Requesting Insight Helicarrier support! Shoot those iron flies out of the sky for me!"
"Apologies, Ms. Jones."
The operator's calm voice came through the communicator.
"Based on system assessment, the targets are small and performing high-speed irregular maneuvers. Given that Manhattan is a densely populated area below, the probability of the Anti-matter Cannon causing civilian casualties exceeds 50%."
"Request denied. Suggest you use other means to resolve this."
"To hell with your other means!"
Jessica was so angry she almost smashed the communicator.
"Watch out!"
Robbie shouted a warning to Jessica.
Thor was seen striding forward, swinging a thick lamppost in a horizontal sweep toward Jessica.
"Begone, mortal of Midgard!"
Clang!
Jessica raised her arms, her Vibranium arm shields popping out to take the hit head-on.
The immense force buckled her legs.
Gritting her teeth, Jessica used the Tai Chi techniques Homelander had taught her, diverting the force backward and then using that momentum to strike back fiercely with her shield.
Thor was knocked back a few steps, and the lamppost was bent.
"Interesting, did Anthony teach you that?"
Thor recalled his experience fighting Anthony, battle intent igniting in his eyes. He threw away the bent lamppost and charged forward bare-handed.
The two clashed in a blur of combat.
Although Jessica's strength was inferior to Thor's, with her Vibranium equipment and flexible techniques, she managed to trade blows with this 'un-powered' God of Thunder.
The M4 rifles in the hands of the guards were like tickling those iron armors; if not for Robbie, they would have suffered heavy casualties by now.
In the air.
Although Angela's firepower was fierce, Tony Stark's combat experience was too vast.
Using the high maneuverability of his armor, he constantly circled Angela, forcing her into passive defense with micro-missiles and palm cannons, leaving her unable to organize an effective counterattack.
On the ground.
Wanda's hands moved, her crimson Chaos Energy acting like red silk ribbons; any iron armor caught in them would be instantly stripped into parts.
She was preparing to expand her gains.
Whoosh!
An electric arrow suddenly shot into a puddle by her feet.
Zzzzt!
The strong current disrupted Wanda's focus, and the crimson energy in her hands instantly dissipated.
"Damn it!"
Wanda looked up to see Hawkeye Barton hanging from a third-floor windowsill like a monkey, sneering at her.
"Don't get distracted on the battlefield, little girl."
With that, he fired another flash-bang arrow.
Giii!!
The intense light and piercing noise made Wanda cover her ears in pain, losing her sense of direction.
Hawkeye was too experienced.
He knew how to deal with a mage—don't let her cast, don't let her focus.
Just as the situation fell into a stalemate.
An unexpected figure suddenly broke through the Police blockade, running recklessly into this dangerous battlefield.
Jane Foster.
"Thor!!"
Jane shouted that name.
Thor, who was fighting Jessica, froze mid-motion upon hearing that familiar voice.
Jessica seized the opportunity, kicking Thor in the chest to knock him back a few steps, then quickly retreated to regroup.
"Jane?"
Looking at the woman running over panting, Thor's brow furrowed.
