[Hours After the Dragon Fight]
Hajime and Yue were asleep soundly within a bed big enough to have both of them comfortably sleep in. Hajime's eye starts to twitch as he finally wakes up and there are 3 things he notices when he does. First is the fact that he is on a bed, which shouldn't be the case as he remembered falling unconscious after fighting the dragon on the ground. The second thing he noticed was that it was brighter here, which also shouldn't be the case. The lights deep in that cave shouldn't be this bright. The last thing he noticed?
"Hgngh"
Someone was in the bed with him, and they were very close to him.
"Huh,' Hajime said, startled.
Hajime lifted his only arm, which also lifted the covers over him and his unexpected roommate to find Yue, sleeping soundly next to him, naked.
"Uh, hey Yue? Come on, wake up," Hajime said as he gently nudged her.
Yue seemingly shook her head as she snuggled closer to him, burying her face into his chest. Hajime, in response, gritted his teeth and lifted his arm once more, "You sexy, bloodsucking, space cadet! Will you wake the hell up already," he shouted as lightning coated his hand and arm.
There was a loud zap sound, followed by a jolted voice that shook due to the electrification. After a minute or 2, Yue rose up, recovering from the unexpected shock, and looked at the one responsible for her rather rude awakening,
"Hajime," she asked somewhat dazed.
"Yeah, it's me. So you want to tell me–" before he could finish speaking, Yue jumped into him and wrapped her arms around his neck in joy, tears falling down.
"Hajime! You're finally awake!"
Hajime, at first caught off guard, wrapped his arm around her while smiling fondly, "Yeah, I'm here. There's no need to cry," he said gently.
After staying like this for more than a few minutes, Yue finally calmed down enough for Hajime to ask her some questions. She explained how after he collapsed, the man who came to their aid had helped her carry him into the double doors that opened after the defeat of the dragon.
After they went through, they found this extravagant place. The man continued to help her carry Hajime into a place with a bed, which he then left in her care. He said he was going to scout out the place to make sure there were no other dangers or risks before finally resting himself.
Hajime, after hearing Yue's recap of events after he passed out, was silent. He knew that Sargon was at least a bit stronger than him, but his job class was Enchanter. Yet that monster that was with him and his speed didn't look like skills of an Enchanter Job Class.
"I wonder where he is now. You said he was busy scouting out the rest of the place right? Did he ever come back," he asked.
Yue nodded, "Yes. Then he said he was going to recover and rest for a while and then walked off. I don't really know where he is right now," she said looking to the side.
Hajime looked down at the both of them and realized that she wasn't the only one who was naked, "Hey Yue. Tell me, why I am naked right now?"
Yue smiled, "You were dirty all over, so I cleaned you up," she said before he licked her lips.
Hajime was more than a little alarmed by her action and made his concern known, "Ok, why are you licking your lips like that?"
Yue instead of answering him, simply giggled, putting Hajime even more on edge, "I don't trust that laugh either. What did you do to me while I was asleep," he asked afterward, growing increasingly concerned.
They had this very suggestive moment for a little while before getting up and trying to find some clothes to put on. After all, they can't go around the place stark naked. If they ran into Sargon like that, it'd be quite awkward.
After walking for a bit, they entered another room, of which sat a quite fashionable skeleton sitting on a throne. Hajime narrowed his eye and placed his hand on his gun handle, ready to fight back just in case. He walked to the center of the room. Afterward, a big red magic circle formed underneath him. Hajime continued to stand guard, although he didn't sense any danger emanating from the circle. Yue stood back in a corner of the room and watched silently.
After a minute, a hologram of a man in the same outfit as the skeleton appeared, though he had glasses on and dark hair that reached his shoulders. Hajime stepped back a bit, gripping his handgun tighter, ready to fire at a moment's notice. But he soon figured out that the hologram was just that, a hologram and it carried no malice.
The holographic man then spoke. Its message was about how the liberators truly were and what they actually fought for, claiming that the "gods" of this world weren't actually the benevolent beings they said they were. It then left a final message, saying that he'll give his strength to them and hopes that they won't use it for evil and also wishing that the "blessings" of the gods never reaches them.
The hologram disappeared and the magic circle started to glow brighter and Hajime clutched his head in pain, "Argh! What the hell?! Something's being imprinted on my mind."
Yue looked at Hajime in worry, "Hajime?"
After a moment, the light faded and so did the pain in Hajime's head.
"So, what do you think of it all," said a voice behind them.
Both Hajime and Yue turned around at the entrance to the room and found Sargon standing there, cane and all.
"Sargon? You're up," Hajime asked.
He nodded, "Yes, and before you ask, I too know the truth about the 'gods' of this world along with the Liberators. I'm not all that surprised to be honest."
Hajime shook his head, "I don't care about that. I don't care about this world, its people, the gods, nothing. I just want to go back home and take Yue with me."
Yue looked at Hajime with a small smile, but Sargon raised an eyebrow, "Does that apathy extend towards your classmates as well," he asked.
Hajime scoffed, "Of course. I don't care about them either."
Sargon narrowed his eyes, "Does Kaori include 'them'," he said pointedly.
Hajime paused and looked at him, Sargon's gaze completely focused on him. He then continued, "I can understand your apathy for the rest of the class. I can't say I care about them either. But are you really going to forsake Kaori? Aside from me, she's the only other person who actively tried to be friends with you."
Hajime looked down in thought considering his words. Yue looked at Sargon with a confused and slightly miffed expression, "Kaori? She?"
Hajime sighed and then looked back at him, "Fine. I'll consider taking her back with us, but that's it."
Sargon sighed, "I suppose that'll have to do. Look Hajime, I know not the exact circumstances for which you had to fight against within the Labyrinth, so if this mindset is a result of what happened down there, I won't try to change it. But do be careful of not fully abandoning your humanity in the goal of searching for a way home," he advised.
Hajime looked at him for a moment before he nodded slowly, "Yeah yeah."
Sargon then shifted the subject, "I'm sure you have some things to contemplate right now. There's a hot spring here that is pretty nice. I can show you, if you like."
At the mention of a hot spring, Hajime perked up, "Seriously? Yeah, show me!"
Sargon led Hajime and Yue, who followed them, to the hot springs area. Hajime dipped his hand in the water and let out a pleased hum,
"Hoo. Nice and warm. Have you already been in this hot spring Sargon," he asked.
"Yes. It's very relaxing and spacious," he said confirmingly.
Hajime smiled excitedly, "Awesome! I'll take one by myself in a bit."
Sargon looked at Hajime with a small glint in his eyes before turning to walk away. As he did, he secretly activated a telepathy spell towards Yue and spoke to her with a smirk on his face,
{If you want to secure yourself as Hajime's one and only, now would be the perfect chance.}
Yue looked at him surprised, but as she saw him walk with that same smirk on his face, she too shared the smirk.
[Timeskip - A Few Minutes Later]
Hajime was sitting down in the hot spring water, sighing in relaxation and relief, "Man. I may have changed a bit, but the Japanese within me still exists."
It was then that someone walked in the hot spring as well, which caused Hajime to flinch and tense up. He slowly looked over to his left to find Yue standing there in her birthday suit. She then sat down on the edge, soaking her legs in the warm water.
"Uh, hey Yue. Didn't I say I wanted to take this alone," he said with a nervous tone in his voice.
Yue simply responded with, "I too wanted to know the effects of the hot spring. I also wanted to share this experience with you. Do you find me unpleasant," she asked while looking at Hajime expectantly.
Hajime looked away, trying to hide his blush, "No. That's not it. I find you extremely beautiful," he said sincerely.
Yue smiled fondly at the compliment. She then jumped down into the water and walked in front of him.
"All of me is yours Hajime. So there's no point in being shy," she said while spreading her arms out.
Hajime gasped, mouth opened and eye widened in shock. Due to this shock, Hajime was unable to make coherent sentences and only noises and sounds that indicated he was beyond baffled by what he's seeing right now.
Yue smirked and closed the distance between her and Hajime, wrapping her arms around him, "Hoo! Oh, I can feel them touching me," he said embarrassed.
Yue looked up at him, "What's touching you," she asked innocently.
Hajime looked at her like she was crazy, "You're kidding right?! Aww screw it, I'm getting out of here," he said as he tried to get up.
Keyword, tried.
"I don't think so," Yue said playfully as she held Hajime down.
Hajime squirmed within her arms and gasped, "Hey! What are you doing?! Hah! Haaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh!"
Meanwhile outside the hot spring place leaned Sargon on the wall close to the entrance of the place.
Sargon smiled fondly and proudly at both of them, "Well done Yue, and congratulations Hajime."
He then walked off towards his room to get some sleep and allow them to have the private time they needed.
