Chapter 3 - Progress is very good indeed

In the world of dreams, one could see Armitage wearing a black shirt and jeans along with brown boots. What was he doing? Simple: a small barbecue for himself, Kokoro, and his new avatar.

Hada; the guardian of the body.

He was a kind of centaur, but an amalgamation of bodies, having "faces" spread across his form. He hid his head between his arms — of which there were many across his body. He was semi-solid, standing 3 meters and 89 centimeters tall.

"Okay, time to eat!" Armitage said with a smile as he placed some delicacies he had gathered while forging his existence through the history of the human world. Soon, Kokoro grabbed a plate and took a chili dog for herself, eating it beneath the paper covering her face. Hada, meanwhile, stopped cradling his face and revealed one that was the opposite of what the dream world represented — a face where his gazes, both mouth and eyes, were pitch black, blood leaking from his ears, already dried.

Crunchy.

Soon, Hada took a bite, with the clear and distinct sound of bone shattering under the force of each jaw.

"You're a good boy…" Armitage said proudly of his work. But why did he create figures like the avatars of the ALLfather or the Father of the Exes? Simple: he does what he loves without caring. After all, he needs to divide the task of maintaining the dream world. Kokoro would be responsible for emotions, Hada for creating the bodies of future tenants. Well, returning to the subject — a year had passed since he interfered with canon. Martha and her family did their part; some people in the world "by chance" found various paintings or books, and children made memes about him.

"Well, I think it's time to improve my world," he said as he snapped his fingers, returning to his usual appearance before leaving his house and heading toward the city. Subtly, the environment gained color, and soon he arrived at a beach, feeling his paws sink into the sand as he took a deep breath.

"Denial is accessible… the fear of dying is an aspect of life… life and death… a concept with phases in the process of human creation…" he spoke calmly as several spiders emerged from beneath his suit and began weaving webs. Armitage then picked up small spiders — yes, they were spiders from Martha's family — and they climbed the webs of their sisters.

"Now you're safe, I no longer need to keep spiders on them…" he said, checking a watch in his pocket and smiling as he calmly walked toward a portal that opened.

Location: Hell.

In the meeting room of the angelic embassy, we thought we saw… a woman? She wore the attire of the exorcist leader, had a curvy body with generous curves, and a smug smile about something.

"Did you see her face? It was hilarious!" she said as she grabbed a rib and took a bite. But then she felt something strange in the air and looked around… suddenly, heavy breathing behind her made her turn to see a figure 2.97 meters tall with four arms. His face was darkened by shadow, revealing only scarlet eyes staring at her.

"Where… is… Adam…" the voice spoke in a dead tone. One of his many arms grabbed a sword, but to Armitage's surprise, there was no damage — only the sound of metal clashing against metal.

"I'll ask one more time… where… is… Adam…" he said, bringing his face close to hers.

"What the hell do you want with me?"

"How are you and Adam? No, he's not a man — he's the father of humanity…"

"Well, sweetheart, I got tired of you humans thinking I'm the master penis."

"Wow… uhmm… that's… strange… but getting back to the point, Lady Adam, I'm here for a mutually beneficial deal," he said calmly, guiding the first woman/man to another part of the celestial embassy.

"Tell me… Lady Adam, how do you think Heaven, the archangels, and the angels see you?" he asked calmly while creating a chair for her to sit on.

"Why don't I tell you?"

"Fufu~ let me show you what your future holds~" he said as several spiders formed a screen and a recording began — the final battle of the first season of Hazbin, but modified to avoid her former existence as a human. "After the battle, no one went after your body, not even your precious lieutenant, hehe." One of his eyes glinted with light. "Yes, of course, and after the events, a sinner — ugh, that disgusts me — but going back, the sinner named Sir Pentious somehow managed to become a champion soul…"

"Impossible… no… this, this isn't possible…" she said, bending forward and removing her helmet, revealing beautiful brown hair accompanied by golden eyes like two priceless pieces of gold.

'My… whoever calls me or the god of this place, but for the love of— she's… hot… Calm down, Armitage, control your hormones. You're a teenager, she's a lady of who-knows-how-many years,' he thought, a faint but noticeable red tint appearing on Armitage's skin.

"Well, after some events, there was a meeting where Sir Pentious's soul was judged. Of course, there was acceptance and denial, but… the drop that spilled the water was when the voice of God decided to enter the stage. Honestly, she's a hypocrite. She knew the extreme danger. What if a soul like that of a serial killer reached Heaven? Well, after a few days or hours, I'm not sure — Overlord Vox arranged… with a weapon of raw angelic power. I may be many things, but I see that extermination is necessary to maintain population control. Don't come at me with that Nazi crap. Returning to the point, the princess was foolish, hypocritical, and stupid. Did she even study the project? She stood behind Adam, who watched the screen without averting his gaze." He rested his chin on her shoulder while slipping one arm around her shoulders. "It was the deal with the cannibals — she promised meat, but not just any~" he said, placing his lower hands on her shoulders while one of his upper arms played with her wings. She never insulted him for the touch, only watched the screen as the scene about to occur unfolded. "It was the flesh of your girls, my dear bird~" Armitage said in an undeniable tone before dissolving the screen and stopping the touch.

A few seconds passed as the air grew tense, until Armitage looked at his own hands and used one of his lower arms to block a strike. He saw Adam with darkened eyes, released her fists, and simply… let her vent her rage.

Pow. Pow. Pow. Pow.

Each blow was continuous anguish… the hatred of a mother who had failed all her duties. Each punch became clumsier until she fell to her knees, Lute trying to help — only for an arm to extend from Armitage's body toward her as he crouched down to give a hug. Not the hug of a friend, but of someone who would be there for her.

"Sin was the cancer that that damned snake dropped upon your sons and daughters. Every day in the human world, sin becomes so dense that they lose logical reason. Some are so sinful they become deranged… but I… I have the cure for this filthy cancer!"

"That's impossible… souls have sin, only newborns have a brief moment of purity…" she said weakly, looking at Armitage, who merely smiled and removed his top hat.

"Dear Madam Adam, to me, sin is a cancer in the world that should NEVER have existed. To me and my future subjects… it is not welcome in my Faith!"

"Dear Lady Adam, this is only the beginning. My name is spreading once more in this era where sin reigns. It's only a matter of time. In eight months… no… eight weeks! I swear I will save as many of your sons and daughters as possible from this cancer Lucifer unleashed — I swear," he said as he knelt before Adam, showing he would fulfill such a promise.

"Well… what do you want from me… my soul?" she asked, indifferent to the price.

"I only need eyes in Heaven, and I'll work on a special gift for one of your daughters who was recently killed by a sinner~" he said in a slightly seductive tone before vanishing into a red mist.
