Chapter 5 - Welcome to Wonderland

In Hell, Armitage no longer cared about his appearance. He was dealing with a situation that, to him, was deadly serious.

"Hand over everything, you mother—" Before the Sinner could finish his sentence, Armitage brushed past him. Half of the Sinner's torso disintegrated instantly.

"First, hunt down the one you killed. Second, force her to reveal where the body is. Third, use what's left for Hada to create a new one..." Armitage muttered, his voice carrying a weight that completely contradicted his usual personality.

Somewhere Else...

In Heaven, we find Adam's first wife, Vaggie (or Lilith/Eve contextually), in her home. Dressed only in her undergarments, she stared at herself in the mirror. She wasn't admiring her beauty or daydreaming about Armitage; she was simply seeing herself.

"The first woman... Heh... What a joke," she whispered to herself as she collapsed onto the bed, staring at the ceiling. Armitage's words were still hammering inside her head. She was nothing but a tool for the Archangels. If her "daughters" died, they didn't care; they just replaced them with new labor to maintain their "balance" and "security."

Knock, knock, knock.

"It's open," she called out. The door opened to reveal her son, Abel.

"H-hey, Mom..." the blonde boy stammered, turning a bit red seeing her state of undress.

"What do you want?"

"The Archangels want an audience. It's about a new guy called the 'God of Dreams' or something," he said, his voice shaky.

"Tell them to go screw themselves," she snapped, closing the door and falling back onto her bed, pondering Armitage's words once more.

"Could it be... that this Dream World is a better home for my girls?" she whispered, hugging herself tightly as she felt the ghost of Armitage's touch. "I just hope it doesn't end up like Eden..." she muttered, finally falling into a stress-induced sleep.

Back in Hell

Armitage stood before the Carmine weapon factories. He had a distant look in his eyes, calculating his next move.

"I could go in quietly... but... I'm not going to," he said to himself. He retracted two of his arms as his clothes shifted into red and black. He pulled a mask over his head, leaving a hole for his hair to poke through—the iconic Deadpool suit. He unsheathed two katanas and looked directly at a specific point in thin air, breaking the fourth wall.

"This, my dear listeners, is what we call fanservice," he said. Suddenly, music started playing from nowhere. He kicked the door open with enough force to trigger the entire factory's alarm system. "I'm about to make a whole lot of teenagers lose their minds with this!"

Bye, bye, bye!

Two Hellhounds lunged at him. Armitage moved with lethal grace, slicing through their torsos in one fluid motion. He continued deeper into the facility, engaging a crowd of Sinners.

"I, I don't do this tonight, you'll probably start a fight, yeah, yeah!" Armitage sang to the rhythm of the music. He drove a katana through a Sinner's skull, kicked the body away, and threw his second blade, pinning a Hellhound to the wall until it stopped twitching.

"I know, this can't be right! Hey, baby come on!" he sang, entering hand-to-hand combat with a seven-foot-tall Sinner. He dropped into a perfect split and delivered a crushing blow to the Sinner's groin. The giant fell to his knees, mourning his future generations. Armitage's wrist snapped back into place as he muttered, "Poor wife... she's probably gonna need a wheelchair."

"I loved you endlessly and you weren't there for me, so now it's time to leave and make it on my own!" he sang, shoving a Sinner into a machine that stripped them to the bone. He grabbed the skeleton, now reinforced with Angelic Steel, as a makeshift weapon. "Fun fact: the human body has 206 bones, but this guy probably had 207. Why? Because I saw him looking at a magazine!" Armitage joked, ripping out a rib and hurling it like a dart into a Sinner's forehead.

"I know that I can't take no more!" he sang, swinging a spine and skull like a mace, shattering his enemies' heads.

"I Wanna See You Out That Door, Baby Bye Bye Bye!" He finished with the iconic dance from Deadpool & Wolverine.

In Carmilla's Office

Carmilla Carmine, the weapon Overlord, watched her monitors in disbelief. A man over two meters tall was decimating her staff while dancing ridiculously to a pop song.

"Is this a joke?" she muttered, watching Armitage step into the elevator and flip off the camera.

"¿Esto es una puta broma?" she growled, bracing herself for whatever was coming out of those doors. When the elevator opened, it was empty.

"Scream, and everyone in this building dies by Angelic Steel... no mercy," a voice whispered from the darkness of the room. She spun around to find several glowing red eyes fixed on her.

"¿Quién eres?" she asked in Spanish.

"I'm just your friendly neighborhood—enough with the jokes. The body... where is it?" Armitage closed the distance in a blur, his hand already tight around her throat.

"What body?"

"The Angel you killed."

"I don't know what you're talk—"

He slammed her head against the wall with enough force to crack the concrete, sending dust flying into the air.

"You know... I think about meteors a lot. They're beautiful. Boom. Everyone dies. A new world, a new man," Armitage said, picking up a photo of Carmilla and her daughters. "So let me be clear: I will be that meteor if you don't cooperate."

"..."

Time Skip

In the Dream World, Armitage stood with his guardians. Each was performing a delicate task. Touma was stitching threads of soul back to the remains of the body. Kokoro was ensuring the new vessel was pure, a perfect replica of Adam in his first moments. Hada had the hardest job: synthesizing a special type of blood derived from Armitage himself—"Black Blood" (a name he shamelessly stole from Soul Eater).

The process was nearly complete, but he needed one last thing from a place beyond Hell.

"A Sinner once asked, 'If I die in Hell, do I go to Hell 2?' In the end, as much as I hate this world, its history intrigues me. I've traveled to the dreams of beings I shouldn't even mention. But my greatest nightmare was a monster that ate children... the Boogeyman. But this place? This is nightmare incarnate... Wonderland."

Armitage picked up the body of the young Exterminator, nude but wrapped in a white tunic bearing his crest.

"Wonderland, open your gate for a cup of tea. That evil humanity never knew, yet existed before their birth... open up for a chat and a deal."

The God of Dreams spoke, and for a moment, nothing happened. Then, the air itself cracked. Monstrous creatures appeared with a symphonic shriek, inviting him to their Mistress's tea party. Kokoro and Hada stepped up behind him. The trio, with Armitage carrying the body, stepped through the rift.
