Splat!
A small pink fist appeared out of nowhere and pierced straight through the man's chest. Not only did it punch through him, the immense force blasted away his flesh and internal organs.
"Huh?"
The sudden turn of events, along with the warm blood splashing onto her face, caused the girl's mind to go blank. She stared blankly at the petite figure that had appeared behind her father.
It was a very cute girl, wearing a conspicuous rabbit-ear headband, her white twin tails tied in fluffy bunches. Dressed in combat attire, she looked striking.
Yet those cold, red-glowing eyes and the suffocating pressure radiating from her body made her seem like a demon.
Already at death's door, the man was casually finished off by Laffey to conserve ammunition and energy.
His body lost all vitality and collapsed into the pool of blood like the other corpses around him.
"Aaaah!"
"Damn it! Damn it! Damn it!"
"I'll kill you, you bastard!"
Watching her father die before her eyes drove the girl into madness. She drew her ninja blade and charged straight at Laffey.
"Danger, come back!"
The other vampire ninjas were furious at the sight. Their village had clearly been massacred, and this girl was killing in front of them, making her undeniably the culprit.
Though they longed to tear her apart, a ninja who had lost all reason charging head-on like this would surely—
"New target detected. Executing annihilation protocol."
Laffey stared expressionlessly at the approaching living target and spoke cold, cruel words. Her voice was childish, but she was serious.
Judging the target to be irrational, she deemed ranged attacks unnecessary.
Calmly raising her arm, Laffey kicked off with her slender, creamy-white legs and vanished in a blur, moving even faster than her opponent's charge.
This was still an un-serious speed for Laffey. She considered the threat minimal.
The female vampire ninja had no time to react before a petite, white-haired figure appeared beside her. A slender arm extended, fist aligned with the upper chest, making contact.
[Lightning Release: Lariat]
Bang! Crack!
A massive impact rang out, accompanied by the sound of bones shattering. The speed-generated momentum, combined with Laffey's own strength and mass, unleashed terrifying power.
This secret taijutsu, taught to Laffey by Raize, revealed its brutality when used by a ship girl.
With less than ten percent of Laffey's strength, the girl was sent flying. Her bones and spine twisted and shattered as her body turned into a projectile, slamming into her comrades behind her.
A close friend rushed forward to catch her, but—
Boom!
The ground shook violently as the flying body crashed into her teammate, creating a second horribly deformed body.
A deep trench was carved into the earth, trees snapped in half along the path.
The remaining vampire ninjas looked on grimly. Beneath a large tree lay the girl struck by Laffey's attack. Her body was grotesquely twisted, her upper torso completely destroyed, shattered bones exposed, with no internal organs in sight.
They had already been blasted away elsewhere. The teammate she collided with was also deformed, her skull crushed.
The first girl died instantly. The second was barely alive and moments from following her.
"Damn it! Why are you attacking our village?!"
Sarasvati, seeing that Laffey's sheer physical strength was already this terrifying, immediately ordered her subordinates to launch ranged attacks.
Her crimson eyes blazing, she drew her blade. Water materialized around it as she slashed toward Laffey, shouting furiously.
Laffey said nothing. She watched the incoming attacks, concealed weapons, leaves, water, fire, wind, all flashy but ineffective.
Though these vampire ninjas had special abilities and rudimentary elemental techniques, they were nowhere near the level seen in Naruto.
To Raize, aside from their special physiques, someone throwing leaf-formed shuriken and kunai at Laffey would barely qualify as a competent chunin.
What amused Laffey most was that the blonde, blue-eyed girl was throwing ramen. Wasting energy and ammunition on them felt embarrassing.
"I really don't know how you so-called vampire ninjas managed to anger the commander when you're this pathetically weak."
She spoke coldly as a faint blue Wisdom Cube energy film enveloped her body, operating at less than one percent output. None of the attacks could breach her defense.
In truth, even without the barrier, they could not have broken her skin. She simply did not want to get dirty. Cleaning up was not hard, but Laffey was lazy.
"Miss, did our vampire ninjas do something to offend the commander you mentioned?"
Seeing that none of their attacks worked and that Laffey did not even bother to dodge, Seraphim clenched her teeth and spoke, maintaining what she thought was a safe distance.
The others retreated as well, glaring angrily at Laffey from afar.
"Laffey doesn't know, and doesn't really want to know. The commander said to wipe you all out, leave not a single one alive. Laffey just wants to finish quickly and go back to sleep."
With a lazy expression, Laffey yawned. With a thought, she activated her turrets and launched a high-speed assault.
She had no interest in understanding those who had provoked the commander's killing intent. They had attacked him right after he left the house. Coming to their doorstep to kill them was only fair.
Laffey did not mind fighting for the commander, but she would rather drink soda, watch TV, and play games. Finishing quickly meant she could go home and sleep.
Pop. Pop. Pop. Pop.
Several soft explosions sounded. Sarasvati and Seraphim watched in horror as the heads of their comrades burst one by one, the headless bodies still frozen in combat stances.
"Scatter! Find cover!"
At Sarasvati's command, she immediately entered high-speed stealth. The others followed suit, revealing their signature concealment techniques.
But to Laffey's unimpressed perception, these self-proclaimed vampire ninjas were just running around chaotically on her radar.
Did they really think chameleon-like invisibility would work? Those hiding underground had life signatures far too obvious.
Watching them perform like circus animals, Laffey expressionlessly continued firing precise shots.
The vampire ninjas soon realized their speed and stealth were useless. Under Laffey's calm gunfire, more and more comrades were headshot and killed. Every shot found a head and destroyed it without fail.
The one-sided, almost playful slaughter drove the vampire ninjas into despair. None of their methods worked. They could not fight back, flee, or even hide.
