Chapter 89- Not Amused
The moment the teacher walked in, the girls clicked their tongues and went back to their seats. They wished they could talk to Elio more, but the start of the class stopped them, and they couldn't say no to the teacher.
"I'm going to do the roll call. When you hear your name, lift your hand." The teacher said as he picked the list up and started calling the usual names. Students lifted their hands one by one until he reached a particular name.
"Fiona Vaylor."
Saying those words, Fiona lifted her hand, and everyone looked at her. Fiona had been absent from school for two day,s so everyone was very worried. At the same time, it wasn't too rare for Fiona to be absent for a day or two. Most students assumed it was merely her being busy with other things.
Stopping there, the teacher looked at Fiona. "I heard that you got sick, Fiona. I hope that you are doing better now."
"Wait, what?"
"Miss Fiona was sick?"
