"Surprise, we're here!"
Nora shouted together with a mischievous smile; after ten steps they opened the door and encountered the disciples whose eyes had widened.
"Take your pots and pans, what precious goods you had!"
Those coming were three people, those coming out of the building whose roof collapsed were three people too, but there was a mountain of difference between their state of minds.
"Who did this? How dare you blow up the roof?"
One of those coming to take the empties was very excited, but this state of his obviously didn't please some people at all.
"Take the empties and move on, don't meddle in subjects that are none of your business!"
Count Jashua threw the rusted metal container in his hand towards the young man's face; the disciple who didn't expect this could only save himself with his friend pulling him.
"You, you!"
The youth was stuttering from excitement and anger; Nora seeing this entered the conversation half-mockingly.
"You are merely men carrying food to the sect's dump, the food tomorrow better be proper and plentiful otherwise you can't walk away scot-free like this!"
When her words ended, she closed the door harshly; the three people remaining behind her continued to look with blank eyes. Even though the exhausted people inside the structure weren't aware, Nora knew the power of those coming, and due to this duty they took, their positions were roughly clear too.
Even though their self-confidence skyrocketed due to the wretches inside while coming and going to bring food, they had frozen when they saw the trio consisting of Nora, Count Jashua, and Alis across them.
"Speaking of food I got hungry too, we haven't eaten a bite since morning!"
The side of the structure opening to the valley had become completely clean; Nora coming here called a few people from the crowd watching them with curious looks next to her signaling with her hand.
"Go out and collect some wood from around, bring clean water too if you can find it!"
She gave the instructions and turned her back, but the men she called didn't take even a single step.
"Are you deaf, do what I said quickly!"
Her shouting for the second time didn't have an effect either; only one of them whose eyes were looking at the ground started speaking.
"It is forbidden for us to go out of the door, if we dare they will kill us immediately!"
Taking her hand to her forehead, Nora hit her head hard; they had really stuffed people into this hole so they would rot.
"How long have you been here?"
The man in whose body abnormalities had appeared answered stuttering.
"I think I have been here for five years!"
Upon the answer she received, Nora turned and looked around; so many men had been locked in a dark cell surrounded on four sides for years. All of them were men; obviously, women were separated to be utilized in other jobs even if they were untalented.
"Come with me!"
The moment she grabbed the man, Nora let herself down from the part facing the valley; Count Jashua and Alis were following her together with one person each they caught from their napes.
While running down the steep slope, they gradually accelerated; they were advancing madly on the surface of the precipice possessing an angle of almost ninety degrees.
When they reached the ground, Nora lifted her head and looked up; they had descended a distance of more than a thousand steps at least. Even if they managed to break the wall in time, it was clear as day that these people wouldn't be able to manage to escape.
"Come on handsome ones, the brushwood job is yours, the water job is ours! Don't wander too far, don't get lost, don't bother me!"
Nora was speaking but the three people they brought with them were busy kissing the ground, embracing the earth. How the things they mercilessly stepped on and passed, perhaps never cared about once, had become the greatest source of happiness for them.
"Alis, it's best if you stand over them. Just in case, let's not have someone come and kill the poor things!"
It was clear as day they wouldn't run away anywhere, but they had violated one of the sect's rules.
The white-haired boy approved by nodding his head; although the sorrow hadn't dispersed from his eyes, he had started interacting a little more with his surroundings.
"Jashua let's separate, it looks like we will stay here quite a long time. Arrange clean water and some meat if you find it!"
Although the Blood God didn't know exactly where they were, she had been able to roughly guess the area they were in by remembering the scenery she saw from on top of the Blood Eagle.
They took action towards two different directions; as for Alis remaining alone with the three people, he was watching the men running around like children who just learned to walk with astonishment.
Although the sect was established in an area remaining in the middle of giant blood rivers, with the help of the shield encircling its surroundings, it had managed to create a perfect habitat inside it. It hosted roaring flowing rivers, mountains with snow on their peaks, and forests where a thousand and one kinds of living beings lived.
The direction Nora proceeded was exactly like this too; life was literally piercing through the earth, the surroundings were shining with life energy. The Blood God gave her priority to the water subject; listening to the environment for a while, she accelerated towards the water source she discovered to be far away.
Within a few minutes, not much, she reached a lake hiding among dense trees, on whose surface lotus flowers floated. A very thinly flowing stream was feeding the lake; despite this, its level was quite good.
The water was so clear that Nora could make out the veins on the rocks spread on the ground meters deep. She had found it; while they were in the dilapidated structure they were placed in, the water source they would use was definitely this.
"I will take quite a bit of your water, my apologies!"
It seemed that as long as the Third Elder dealt with internal affairs, the place they would stay was there, and a large amount of water was needed to clean even just the standing places properly.
Nora used her ring; the eyes on the skull embossment were sucking the water so fast that before two minutes passed the level went down to half.
There was nothing to do; the stream could slowly fill the lake, but they couldn't remain without water. Nora set off to return, but before taking two steps she was nailed to where she was.
When she turned her back she would encounter a scene she didn't expect at all; the water level that had been halved just a few breaths ago was in its former state.
This event pushing the boundaries of abnormality attracted the Blood God's interest; she stored water in her ring again, but this time she didn't turn her back to the lake.
She saw with her own eyes what happened; the water level that went down to half was completed again. When the undulating surface calmed down, Nora's eye was on a rock at the bottom; the shape of the rock having a mirror-like bright surface was perfectly round too.
Various reflections were forming on it; its surface, which calmed down after being adorned with various shadows and light plays a few more times, took the appearance of a simple rock again.
"Very interesting, it looks like I will need to come here again!"
Engraving the rock's place in her memory, Nora returned to the place they descended to the valley's ground; the men they brought with them had gathered whatever branches they found in the middle with great devotion.
"Well done, going out to the fresh air look your color came back to you!"
Looking around like this, she couldn't see Count Jashua; while the men continued to collect branches, Nora set about waiting for the Young Count.
Before half an hour passed, he popped out from a corner too; Count Jashua looked relaxed and happy as if he came from a calm nature walk.
"We can return!"
When Nora spoke, the men made a move for the woods, but the Blood God waved her hand and took all the material into her inter-spatial ring.
They returned a little slower than when they came; climbing with one hand while carrying the exhausted men in one of their hands had taken time.
When they reached the top no one was seen around; although sounds coming from where the door was were heard, they couldn't know exactly what was happening without going there.
