Chapter 103 - Yüz Üç

After crossing the giant suspension bridges connecting the two regions, the vehicle proceeded at a constant speed towards the tribe ruled by Kasaphaydo. There were no escorts around; no one brave enough to cut the path of those inside lived in the region.

High-level orcs located in the Sacred Lands had also set out for the Arid Region Tribe to meet with the duo. Since such a large meeting would take place for the first time since Chief Alyon and Nafız left, all orcs were on edge.

Their successes and adventures had managed to reach ears by word of mouth. Two people had brought a huge city to its knees; there wasn't a single orc who didn't know their names.

Since the coordinates of their destination were entered into the vehicle, they sometimes chatted and sometimes slept along the way. They were familiar with the scenery, and there wasn't much to watch in the Arid Region anyway.

Upon the wagon slowing down, realizing they had arrived at the desired place coincided with the noise reaching their ears.

"Get out of the vehicle and confirm your identity!"

The voice was harsh, doing full justice to the imperative mood.

While Chief Alyon walked in front, they slowly came out from the opened stairs together with Nafız following him.

"Who are you?"

The duo getting out of the vehicle were in no state to pay attention to the guard; they were as if enchanted looking around. They couldn't see the border of the tribe, which was in ruins when they left it; the most striking thing was the orc tents set up in the area where the mines were located.

Alyon and Nafız, astonished as they didn't expect such a growth rate in a short time, would come to their senses when the guards grabbed their arms and shook them.

"Catch the spies! Did you think you could enter our tribe by imitating our symbol and strolling in?"

The guards standing watch had never seen the legendary duo before, and those facing them didn't resemble what was told at all. Most orc warriors had learned of Chief Alyon as a giant and Nafız as a person who killed her enemies with her gaze.

The two confused orcs standing before them could only be spies sent by the Main Tribe. Immediately putting purple alloy handcuffs on their hands and putting a sack over their heads, they shoved the prisoners into the pit where they imprisoned captives.

"Chief Alyon, no matter how much you brag, it's not enough; look how developed the tribe under your dominion is. They packaged us up between two words and threw us in here!"

Nafız finished her words laughing loudly. While expecting to be welcomed with bows to the ground, she was practically buried alive along with her friend.

"Shut your mouth, bitch! I'm already annoyed; don't make me rip your head off!"

Although inside was pitch dark, the Blood God could see the people clustered where the voice came from. Every society trying to develop would have some weeds; they were inside pits designed for their rehabilitation and destruction.

Between the deep pits dug separately from each other, there were connections too narrow for an orc to pass. In this place completely covered at the top, air circulation was provided this way.

"Look at that, what fierce men there are in the neighboring holes. I'm very curious, how do you plan to do what you say?"

Alyon got very angry. As if being imprisoned with a handful of filth wasn't enough, they were also being insulted.

"The sound of your handcuffs reaches here; I will show you, little insects, when I open the passage between us a little more!"

The general practice was locking criminals in here; only Chief Alyon and his friend Nafız were handcuffed on suspicion of being spies. Apart from the purpose of rehabilitation, this place also had a destruction goal; prisoners killing each other was considered quite normal.

"Don't you bother at all. I'm sending you something; you can deal with it!"

The limit had been crossed long ago; a moment later, a bear with huge claws and a giant body appeared inside the pit where the duo was.

"Tear them apart!"

The order was clear; the spirit animal dug its claws into the earthen walls separating the pits without needing to be told twice. Before twenty breaths passed, the silhouettes of orcs caught in the dust cloud would appear; seeing the expression on their faces was priceless.

"I guess you have no obstacles in front of you anymore; let's see your skill!"

Chief Alyon went crazy; contrary to his usual calm stance, he pursued pushing the conditions to the limit.

"Sir, we made a huge mistake. Please forgive us!"

These types begging by prostrating on the ground were orcs who bullied those around them just by using their numbers. Even before seeing who was in the side pit, the majesty of the spirit animal standing before them was enough to make them kneel.

"Alyon, I'll handle the rest. The kids just made a mistake; we can't just cut them off immediately!"

Seeing the orcs trembling in fear, Nafız felt no emotion other than disgust; killing them immediately would be a reward.

"Every crime committed must have a punishment; we will play a game with you. Those who can escape two moves of this monster standing next to me will continue their lives!"

Realizing they would spend some time here, Nafız found herself an entertainment. Alyon was only a spectator; he left the stage to the spirit animal in the leading role.

Time was passing, the sun was moving its rays away from the tribe, but the expected important guests still hadn't arrived. Except for Asiyürek, all captains, the Blood God's students, and Alyon's family were waiting for them impatiently in the chief's tent.

"Kasaphaydo, is there any news from the guards?"

The speaker was Çekiçdöven; although he had no worries, waiting annoyed him. Since he had been an impatient person from time immemorial, he couldn't stand these situations at all.

"Around the time the sun was right overhead, we received news that two spies tried to enter the tribe. On the vehicle they used, there was our tribe's symbol!"

"Are you just telling me this now?"

As soon as the Arid Region Tribe's chief finished speaking, Sangre shouted furiously. An ambush might have been set on the road, his master might have been caught off guard.

"Bring them here immediately; they need to be interrogated urgently!"

When Kitapkurdu turned to the guards inside the tent and ordered, the warriors would rush out like the wind. The messengers running to the pits were met by the morning guards; they knew this moment would come, and for the same reason, they hadn't left their places even though their shift was over.

"Didn't I tell you? After this event, they will take us into the main army too!"

Roses were blooming on their faces. Their current ranks couldn't go beyond normal guards looking after errands, but such a success would make them a member of the army. Coming to the head of the pit with joy, they shouted excitedly.

"You two! Hook your handcuffs to the hook we'll throw down; your interrogation time has come!"

There was no other way out of the pits serving as a prison, at least for normal orcs. Nafız and Alyon didn't give it away either; leaving the side cell turned into a lake of blood, they reached the ropes that would carry them up.

"Blindfold them; do not let them gain information about our tribe!"

The guards had really gotten into the mood; their chests were swelling with pride while advancing towards the chief's tent accompanied by messengers. They ignored the people watching them along the way; it wasn't possible to approach them due to their airs.

"Turn back from here, we'll handle the rest!"

Warriors standing guard in front of the chief's tent stopped the comers and wanted to take the two prisoners whose heads were covered with sacks.

"No way, we caught the spies, and we will present them before the chief!"

When the sounds of the scuffle outside filled the tent, Kasaphaydo, already tense due to the pressure on him, shouted.

"Let them enter!"

The guard team stopping the vehicle in the morning flooded inside completely; they stood opposite the group waiting for them together with their prisoners. When they gave their salutes by hitting one knee on the ground, the two orcs they brought were still standing.

"Kneel quickly. You are in the presence of the warriors of Great Chief Alyon and Blood God Nafız!"

The leader of the guard group called out to the prisoners with all his sycophancy. After the warning, the short orc knelt without making a sound, but the one larger than normal insisted on not moving even a millimeter.

"I'm telling you, kneel immediately!"

The guard, losing himself, landed a solid kick on the leg of the orc standing persistently. The result, contrary to his expectation, was feeling an indescribable pain in his own foot.

"Kid, you are pushing your luck too much!"

The person taking the blow spoke, and upon this, the short orc kneeling muttered in disappointment.

"Was this the time to be a spoilsport?"
