Chapter 100 - Yüz

Three flares had two meanings; Marcos would be sent out of the city, and the orc soldiers in the shelter would surface. All the rebels gathered in one place; those running water under the hay with secret identities didn't hesitate to reveal themselves either.

"Stomp! Stomp! Stomp!"

The herd of carcasses, attacking the protection shield shamelessly, wouldn't hear the footsteps coming from afar at first. When they were completely surrounded by the shields of armored orc warriors, only then did they come to their senses.

"What's up; you were attacking with quite an appetite just a moment ago. Look, there is nothing to protect us anymore either; what is this timidity?"

Before speaking, Nafız ordered her subordinate to turn off the protection shield; since the Young Lord had left them, there was no need for it. When she looked around, the scene she saw was magnificent.

The rebels, whose meticulously prepared plans fell through, were now worried for their lives because they were surrounded on four sides by people they were deathly afraid of.

"Where did so many orcs come from? I thought they were all gone!"

"There is no news from the groups raiding the mansions of the three noble families either; if they come to help, we can charge from one point and break the siege!"

There were a few people maintaining their cool among the rebels, and the highest-ranking one had just spoken. The traitor commander of the city guards was trying to instill hope in his supporters, who were about to scatter like halva.

"Ahhhhhhh!"

A second later, an arrow three feet long entered through his mouth opened to scream and exited from the nape of his neck. The arrow tearing the commander's body apart would continue with the same speed and stop after piercing three more people.

"How dare you speak in front of the Blood God? Who do you think you are?"

The most ruthless person after Nafız had also graced the scene; even if his master sometimes treated things as a joke, he was no joke at all.

"Tighten the circle!"

Sangre shouted with his gritty voice; orc warriors took a step forward to obey their commander's order.

"You dogs! Since I am going to die here, I'm taking you with me!"

The man holding the potion bottle with a dark green mixture inside was making his move to slam it quickly on the ground. Then, his hand holding the bottle would freeze halfway. While the man gathering all attention on himself sweated bullets, a person began to appear in the gap created by people moving away from him.

"Let me take that. You look like a clumsy friend!"

When his face became visible, everyone saw who it was. Kuyag had been hiding inside the crowd from the beginning; while lying in ambush for a surprise event, this fish was caught in his net.

While thousands of people sweated bullets under siege, what happened would give them a bit of courage.

"Friends, the female orc on the stage is the commander of those surrounding us. If we take her prisoner, we will have a chance to escape!"

For people who hadn't met her, choosing her as a target in this situation might be the smartest choice, but the steps of the city guards who witnessed that day in the arena were going backward.

"Attack! Don't let her slip through your fingers!"

Those running to the stage with their last strength were unaware that they were wasting a few extra breaths they would take. Asiyürek still had the ability to create a shield, but just as he was about to act, a hand grabbed his shoulder.

"You completed your duty; stand back and witness the true power of our tribe!"

The speaker was Kübey; after putting her hands on the daggers at her waist, she dove into the crowd like lightning. Nafız watched her for a while; her movements were almost the same as Miloş's, but in the end, she was an orc; her destructive power was several times superior to the one who taught her these.

When the female orc leading the bodyguards completed her tour inside a circle of fifteen steps, there was no room to step due to the corpses on the ground. Her surroundings would become deserted immediately; maybe the crowd attempting rebellion consisted of thousands of people, but they weren't worth a dime in quality.

The main pillar of the plan they made was the orc warriors leaving the city, and their influence within the remaining city guards was large. The public hadn't even been considered; they were insects they could crush whenever they wanted.

"Foundations are good, movements are sharp; the most crucial part is that there is no trace of hesitation during the final blow. Miloş trained you very well; it is proud to see someone who has reached this level of composure and discipline among orcs!"

When Nafız spoke, the female orc standing among the people she killed stared at her. Kübey was very proud; she hadn't encountered anyone who could compete with her as a warrior before.

"Look at those stares, what happened? Did you not like me praising you as if superior? I guess you are one of those types who can't understand without seeing; now keep your eyes peeled!"

Normal people remaining inside the circle would understand nothing; city guards could see a shadow, orc warriors two black daggers. Before a duration of ten breaths passed, there was a single person standing inside the circle of forty steps.

Kübey was about to swallow her tongue; due to her superior features and reward dungeon experience, she had seen most of what happened. Until this time, she thought she was unique; her kin were people keen on brute force relying only on strength. As a result of encountering an orc with more refined movements than herself for the first time, she didn't know what to think.

"Will you handle the rest, or shall I continue?"

Nafız, starting to walk by stepping on the dead bodies of the people she cut down, called out to the orc warriors before sitting on the edge of the stage set up. This was a sarcastic order; all those remaining inside the circle were their targets.

Since Çekiçdöven's warriors stood at the very front lines, they were the first to go on the attack. Their axes were descending with fury; it was as if they saw their chieftain who left them to die in these people.

When everything was over, the Blood God ordered the bodies of dead humans to be gathered in one place. When they were all thrown on top of each other, a hill more than fifteen steps high would form next to the stage. Inside the chaotic structure, there were guards, rebels, women, children, people from every age group and status.

"Ma'am, would you like me to bring the City Lord back?"

The person asking the question was the leader of young Marcos's bodyguards, and although the voice came from the same person, this time it sounded completely different. Unlike her forced addresses, there was a deep emphasis of respect in it.

"Not yet, I need to do one last thing!"

Nafız wouldn't believe her job was done before taking the necessary precautions to prevent what happened today from repeating. She waited for the place to calm down for a while and ordered the orc army entering through the opened city gates to hold the street corners.

There were only orc warriors in the streets of Parthenia; the people obeying the Young Lord's call were waiting in fear in their homes. After preparations were completed, the Blood God gave her order.

"I want to see the people waiting in their homes in this square as soon as possible. They will absolutely not be mistreated; in the slightest complaint, I will take that person's head myself without looking at who they are!"

She was very serious while speaking; she hadn't become this harsh even during the struggle spreading almost throughout the whole day. Orc warriors setting to work immediately started bringing people to the desired place.
