Chapter 28 - Chapter 27

Odin Finally Gives Up — Thor Chosen as King

After Asgard gained three new Heavenly Father–level beings, Odin finally stopped trying to secretly test Roy.

At this point, even Odin had to admit:

"If Roy wished to destroy Asgard… even I would not know how he did it."

He still didn't know Roy's true power, only that it was terrifyingly deep.

So Odin gave up and finally chose Thor as the next ruler.

◆ Thor Named Crown Prince of Asgard

Inside the golden throne palace, Odin raised Gungnir and declared:

"Thor Odinson shall be the next King of Asgard!"

The hall erupted into cheers.

Roy and his girls—

Grayfia, Velgrynd, Velzard, Scáthach, Sif, Amora, Lorelei, Infinity, Death

—were completely unfazed.

They didn't care about the politics of Asgard.

Most of them could one-shot kingdoms anyway.

◆ Roy & Loki — Brother Bonding Over Teyvat Wine

Roy glanced over and found Loki sulking in a corner, defeated again.

Roy smirked.

He pulled out a divine-grade wine bottle from the Teyvat continent—

something even gods considered a luxury.

Loki blinked.

Then grinned.

Soon the two were drinking together, laughing, insulting Thor, and enjoying a rare moment of brotherly peace.

For the first time in centuries, Loki felt like someone genuinely treated him as family.

◆ Next Day — Roy Requests to Visit Midgard

The morning after the drinking session, Roy approached Odin.

"Can I travel to Midgard for a while?"

Odin nodded without hesitation.

Roy had saved Asgard dozens of times and never caused chaos… intentionally.

"Go, Roy. You have my blessing."

Roy then went to say goodbye to Frigga, who hugged him tightly—

as always treating him like her own son.

◆ The Group Departs… but NOT to Midgard

Roy and his girls departed Asgard,

but instead of heading straight to Midgard…

They turned their path toward Niflheim.

Because the girls wanted to meet someone important.

Someone Roy talked about often.

Someone they all suspected had feelings for him.

◆ Meeting Hela — The Silent Queen of the Dead

When they arrived, Hela emerged from her throne room, cold and regal.

But her expression softened the moment she saw Roy.

Roy introduced her to his girls:

Grayfia Velgrynd Velzard Scáthach Sif Amora Lorelei Infinity Death

Hela, for the first time in centuries, felt… nervous.

◆ "We Want to Talk With You Alone."

The girls turned to Roy.

"Roy, leave us for a bit. Girl talk."

Roy wasn't dumb—he nodded and walked away.

The women surrounded Hela like a council.

Scáthach asked directly:

"Hela… do you love Roy?"

The Queen of Helheim froze.

Her face flushed—just slightly, but enough to be seen.

And she gave a tiny nod.

Yes.

Grayfia smiled warmly.

Velzard chuckled.

Sif gave an approving nod.

Death simply said, "It is destiny."

They exchanged glances and came to a silent agreement.

"Then join us."

Hela's eyes widened.

She wasn't expecting acceptance… especially not from entities this powerful.

But she felt relieved—

and happy in a way she hadn't felt in millennia.

◆ Roy Returns — The Family is Complete

Roy came back, unaware of the emotional moment he missed.

Grayfia stepped forward and said:

"Roy… Hela will come with us."

Hela looked away, cheeks tinted.

Roy simply smiled.

He held out his hand to her, and she took it.

This was the first step of her becoming part of his family.

◆ Departure to Midgard

And so, Roy and all his lovers:

Grayfia Velgrynd Velzard Scáthach Sif Amora Lorelei Infinity Death Hela

Left for Earth together.

Meanwhile…

Odin watched silently as they vanished from Asgard.

He had a faint suspicion that Roy was hiding unimaginable power—

but he no longer dared to test him.

For the first time in Odin's long life…

He felt relief not to know the answer.
