The seven ninja swordsman of the mist were feared for their monstrous strength and brutality, a group with the combined strength of a nation; they were a force to be reckoned with, until their downfall at the hands of Might Guy's father. Only two members made it out alive; the rest were dead, and their blades migrated across the elemental nations, waiting for worthy wielders.
One of the waiting blades is known as Chōtō, the long blade shaped like a needle with a long thread that acts as a handle. Nubari.
In the village hidden in the blossoms. The villagers found the blade resting by the moonshade flower.
"Father, do you not fear shinobi will try and take the blade from us?" A young orange-haired girl spoke.
Her father turned to her," Do not worry my child, this blade will be gone soon enough. " He reassured her.
His statement had a lot of truth, as across the elemental nations, shinobi were sent to obtain the blade. Despite its Mist origin, the blade had too much value to return to its village.
-Iwa-
The Tsuchikage sent a squad to obtain the nubari.
"Do not fail me." The elder Kage spoke.
"No worries, Gramps. " A female responded.
-Kumo-
Samui, Karui, and Darui were tasked with the mission. The Raikage wanted the 3 to bounce back from the embarrassing loss to the Konoha nin. As for Yugito, she has been put under Killer Bee's care at his mountain territory.
"You think we'll run into them?" Darui asked, jumping from one branch to another.
"Hopefully so I can kill the flute girl." Karui gritted.
Samui stayed silent, moving forward.
-Suna-
Temari moved with her square of sand shinobi, a giant strapped to her back, the desert blonde beauty moved with a calm ease.
-Kiri-
The land of mist has been liberated from the madness of the 3rd Mizukage, led by Mei Terumi, the leader of the rebellion that opposed the 3rd genocide. She looked at her Jonin.
"I think my involvement in this mission is important for the importance of our village. " Mei justified.
Ao, her eye patch-wearing right hand, tried to speak, "Lady Terumi...is that really a wise decision –" Ge stopped talking as he saw her sweet smile, but her body was radiating a dangerous aura.
"What was that?" She asked sweetly.
"Nothing my Lord..." He submitted.
-Konoha-
Back at the leaf, Danzo already sent an Anbu squad to retrieve the blade, but Tsunade wouldn't allow this, so she assigned her own squad to get it, and she chose the only ones efficient enough.
Squad-0
The team moved, launching off the trees, off to the border.
Tayuya leaped off a branch," So we're stealing this sword and returning it?"
Taiju appeared in front of her, "It depends on whether the Mist wants it bad enough to kill us." He grinned.
Kin sighed, " As always with you, bloodshed is the deciding factor of your morals. "
"You know, Kin-chan~"
"Don't call me that." She blushed.
Yugao was behind them, keeping the diamond position, "Focus, this could easily turn from A-rank to S-rank." She informed them, eyes on Taiju for emphasis, "Do not engage unless I say so."
"Yes ma'am." He salutes.
The hunt for the Nuibari blade is underway.
