Chapter 25 - 25 She's Wild

On a quiet Sunday morning, Williams sat in the living room, buried in a discussion online when the doorbell rang. The butler moved quickly to answer it.

"Hi, Williams," a calm, gentle voice greeted.

Williams lifted his head and saw Lily standing there, dressed in a soft pink outfit with white sneakers, looking as sweet and unassuming as ever. He gave a brief nod and returned to his phone, barely acknowledging her presence.

Lily felt a pang of disappointment but didn't let it show. She stepped closer and settled on the sofa beside him.

"Your dad said you were home, so I thought I'd stop by," she said softly.

"Glad you came," he replied without looking at her.

Lily frowned slightly, reaching into her bag. She pulled out a small box .

"I brought something for you," she murmured.

Williams finally looked up, hesitating before accepting it. He opened the box to reveal a pair of blue men's earrings. A faint smile tugged at his lips.

"I thought these would suit you," Lily said timidly.

"They're… beautiful," Williams said, his gaze lingering on her, sharp and deliberate, as if testing her.

Before Lily could respond, the click of stilettos echoed through the hall. Both of them turned to see Veronica gliding toward them, sharp and confident. She frowned upon seeing Lily but her frown disappeared faster than it came knowing Lily was no threat.

Just a little scare, and this bunny would back off. she thought, a sly smile on her lips.

She took the seat between them, forcing Lily to scoot back, face flushed.

"Good morning, sunshine!" Veronica chirped, pecking Williams on the cheek.

"Morning, beauty," he replied smoothly.

"How was your night? I missed you so much," she said, clinging slightly.

Williams smiled faintly. "Is that all you have to say?"

Veronica pouted playfully. "I'm serious! I'm really sorry for leaving you at the hospital. I had to fly to Paris urgently… but I brought you something." She handed him a small bag.

Williams opened it. "What's this?"

"The banana boxers I promised," she replied, grinning.

"Thanks, hottie!" he said, laughter mingling between them.

Lily, meanwhile, felt her confidence shrink, a flush creeping up her cheeks. She glanced down at her hands, embarrassed and intimidated.

Veronica suddenly pretending to notice her "Oh!" she gasped dramatically. "I didn't realize you were here. You're… so little!"

Lily quickly turned her face away. "Good morning, Veronica," she whispered.

"Morning, bunny. What are you doing here?" Veronica asked, her eyes landing on the small box in Williams' hands.

She brought him a gift? How cute… but funny, Veronica thought.

"What's this?" she said, snatching the box.

"A gift from Lily," Williams said without looking up, returning to his phone.

Veronica opened it and laughed softly.

"What are these? Are these..... Blue sea earrings?"

"Oh, Lily! This one is outdated. This earing is created every year and once a new year's own is created, the last year's own becomes outdated. The newest one costs twenty-three million dollars. And I already got it for him." She said leaning in as she kissed Williams' ear lightly. A soft moan escaped Williams as he smirked.

Lily's eye widened. She watched as Veronica put on a pair of earrings looking far more expensive on Williams' ear, and smirked at her discomfort.

"Back off, little bunny. This man is mine," Veronica whispered, staring intensively at her.

Lily stood quickly, "I… I have to go," she stammered, rushing toward the door.

Veronica, confident, turned back to Williams. "Will! How about we go out tonight to make up for the days we haven't seen?"

"Weren't you flirting with me just now in front of Lily?" he asked, tossing his phone onto the sofa and leaning toward her.

Veronica smirked, fingers brushing his chest. "Hmmm… Babe, her presence made me uncomfortable. I just had to make her leave which was easy."

"You're a little devil," Williams said, shaking his head. "Picking on her because she's easily intimidated. Well, I know of someone you wouldn't try this with. She'll break your spirit."

"She? Who is she?" Veronica asked.

"No one," Williams said lightly, picking up his phone.

Veronica rolled her eyes. "What about the shopping idea? Yu didn't reply?"

"I'm visiting a friend this morning. Tonight__ I promise you the most expensive club in Seoul," he replied.

Veronica squealed in delight. "Promise?"

He nodded. "Promise."

"Oh! By the way, I didn't see your old man," she added.

"He went out early to check on something at the company," Williams replied.

"Okay, I'm off. Hanging out with my girls!" she said, gathering her bag.

"Bye, babe," she said peking his cheek.

"Bye," she replied, leaving.

Williams called for the butler.

"Yes, Young Master?"

"Prepare a car. I'm going to my friend's house," he said calmly. The butler bowed and left immediately.

When Williams got to Ha Yun's house, He was having breakfast.

"Join me! There's one of your favorite dish." Ha Yun said smiling sheepishly at Williams.

Williams rolled his eyes, irritated.

"Are you flirting with me? I don't see any reasonable food on your table, you lazy pig. I only see snacks." Williams asked.

"I don't flirt with heartbreakers." Ha Yun said picking up a bowl of already made cereal.

"So," Ha Yun said sitting beside Williams.

"What's the deal with you and that black girl? Why did you just sped of with her leaving me completely stranded there? You owe me, you know. " Ha Yun said sounding silly with his mouth full.

"Ewe! Eat or you speak. You can only do one at a time. By the way, did you eat before brushing this morning." Williams said.

"Fuck you, Will!" Ha Yun said.

"Don't try to shy away from my question. Who the hell is that black girl? I wanna know who is the girl that stirred you so easily." Ha Yun said.

Williams shot him an annoyed glance before speaking up.

"I don't really know alot about her. But we've crossed path a few times and trust me, it doesn't always end well. Our first meeting was near the international airport. I guess that was her first day at Seoul..." Williams narrated a brief story of how they knew each other. When he was done, there was a brief silence before Ha Yun finally bursted into laugher spilling his flakes on the sofa.

"Gross, Ha Yun. Do you ever take anything serious in your life?" Williams said shifting backwards.

"Allow me laugh, Will. You mean to tell me that, that girl slapped you across the face. You? Adam Williams?" He asked chuckling.

"You're so.... I don't know what to call you." Williams said irritated.

"No, it's fine. I think she's hot. And clearly bold!" Ha Yu said still surprised.

"And you've met her a few times after that." He added.

"Yeah!"

"And you guys never end up well!"

"Always!"

"Wow. She's on fire." Ha Yun gasped.

"Save your reaction for this." Williams said as he brought out the video of Linda's hand work in his room the day he locked her in it.

Ha Yun watched with disbelief. He gasped when he saw the path where she jumped out of the window through the piece of clothes she joined.

"Did she grow up in a farm?" Ha Yun asked.

"Mmm.... Probably." Williams said.

"But I need your help."

"What it bro? I can't clearly fight this Wild girl. She could beat half my guys. And I'll be stuck hospitalizing them." Ha Yun said with an awkward chuckle.

"I want you to help me find her. And also i need all information about her!" Williams said firmly.

"Don't worry, Will!" I can help with that." Ha Yun said. "But what would you do when you find her?" He asked.

Williams smirked.

"You don't wanna know!"
