Chapter 108 - [108] Voldemort's Diary Arrives – Time to Stir the Pot

Back in the dormitory, Argus took Voldemort's diary out of the box.

According to his previous plan, Slytherin's locket was intended as a trump card to blackmail Voldemort and Dumbledore.

The diary was a backup plan to deal with Voldemort.

Compared to the relics of the four great masters of Hogwarts, the diary is not so conspicuous and is not so easy for Dumbledore to deduce.

Unfortunately, Lucius's intervention thwarted his plans.

The original plan to suppress Dumbledore's reputation thus failed.

The only option is to reactivate this previously abandoned solution.

By taking advantage of the appearance of the basilisk and the injured students, they forcibly undermined Dumbledore's prestige.

Otherwise, his influence at Hogwarts would be limited to Slytherin.

This is extremely detrimental to his future plans.

"I should have known better than to take the diary from Ginny's."

"Now it's not an easy thing to send the diary over quietly."

Argus lay in bed, fiddling with his diary, lost in thought.

At Flourish and Blotts, Ginny doesn't remember much about what she buys, and she wouldn't care if one or two books were mixed in.

But now that school has been in session for several days, she has a general idea of what her belongings are.

What's more, her brothers are none other than the famous Weasley twins, the masterminds behind all the pranks!

The sudden appearance of a diary you've never seen before among your belongings will definitely arouse suspicion.

You need to use your brain to get your diary in.

Gryffindor's common room cannot be entered with a simple Disillusionment Charm, and besides, the campus is crowded and there are many people around; someone might just see you.

"We need to plan this out carefully..."

...

Two days later.

On the corridor outside Hogwarts Castle.

Draco, carrying a bag and holding a flying broom, walked towards the Quidditch pitch with Marcus Flint and the others, laughing and joking.

Quidditch matches were an extremely important part of Hogwarts' lack of entertainment options.

Especially with the added bonus of the House Cup, the young wizards couldn't wait to pay attention.

Draco followed Flint and the others out of the castle and hadn't gone far when they encountered Wood, who was leading Harry and the rest of the Gryffindor team over.

An enraged Ron followed behind.

"Flint, you used the field yesterday, today it's our turn!"

Flint's smile vanished, and he stared straight at him.

He was practically face-to-face with Wood!

"Listen, the stadium doesn't belong to Gryffindor. We can use it however we want if we can apply! We don't need you pointing fingers here!"

Marcus Flint wasn't exactly a bright guy, but after a few simple words from Argus, he wanted to spend all his time on the pitch.

They didn't care what other houses thought!

With just a few words, they completely humiliated Gryffindor!

Wood's face turned red with anger, and his eyes were bloodshot.

The Gryffindor members behind him gritted their teeth.

Noticing the conflict, a large group of wizards who were off class rushed over to watch the commotion.

Ginny and a group of first-year Gryffindor students were among them.

Taking advantage of his height and strength, Flint puffed out his chest and shoved Wood aside.

"Get out of the way, don't disturb our training."

"If you have something to say, go talk to Professor Snape and our head of house!"

"Let's go!"

Wood gritted his teeth, his fists clenched tightly.

In the end, he didn't fight with Flint.

Harry and Ron had already deducted too many points from Gryffindor. If he were to deliver this punch, Gryffindor would probably be at the bottom of the house standings again this school year.

He was unwilling to do something so impulsive!

Seeing that the Gryffindor members didn't move, Flint laughed even more wildly and led his men straight through the Gryffindor crowd.

Draco seemed to want to say something, but he opened his mouth and didn't say anything.

The Gryffindors were glaring with rage, panting heavily.

The stairwell not far away.

When Argus saw this, his brows furrowed deeply.

They haven't even started fighting yet?

If he didn't confuse the situation, how could he possibly slip the diary into Ginny's hands?

The moment Draco passed Ron, a Locomotor Mortis was silently cast.

Draco almost fell to the ground because he wasn't paying attention.

Fortunately, he was caught by the Slytherin members in front of him.

"Draco! What's going on?!"

"It's nothing, I don't know how I tripped, let's go." Draco sensed something was wrong and got up to leave.

Flint spotted Ron smirking at a glance, and without asking any questions, he shoved him.

"You want to fight, huh!"

Ron's small frame was no match for him, and he stumbled back several steps, almost falling to the ground.

Ron was already seething with anger, and he couldn't hold back any longer.

He pulled out his wand and aimed it at Flint!

"Go ahead and attack! Who's afraid of you!"

A flash of green light appeared, but Ron's wand did not release any magic. Instead, he seemed to have been hit hard and fell heavily to the ground.

The crowd fell silent for a moment, then burst into laughter.

Harry and the Weasley twins rushed over to check.

Before they even got there, they heard Ron vomit.

A huge slug was spat out of his mouth, making the onlookers' scalps tingle.

Argus was almost laughing at Ron's stupidity.

Can't you lend a hand?

They haven't even started fighting yet?

He had painstakingly laid the groundwork for so long in order to create a big scene that would involve Ginny.

So you idiot, you managed to hit yourself with your spell?

"Forget it, I'll do it myself!"

Ron had just been helped up by Harry and the others when his abdomen trembled again.

The next second, a slug suddenly spewed out of his mouth!

Argus flicked his finger, and a long-range spell attached itself to the slug.

It flew straight toward Flint's cheek.

It looked as if Ron had deliberately spat the slug up there!

Flint froze, staring blankly at the sticky smear on his face.

His body began to tremble with anger.

He suddenly lunged at Ron!

"I'll kill you!"

A huge fist slammed into Ron's eye socket.

The Gryffindor students had long been fed up with Flint's arrogant behavior, and they couldn't tolerate him beating up their classmate in front of them.

They settled both old and new grudges.

Under Argus's influence, the Slytherin members had become united; otherwise, they wouldn't have stood up for Draco.

Seeing Flint being beaten by a group of people, they immediately rushed over.

A great brawl was about to break out!

Seeing that almost all the Gryffindor and Slytherin members around him had joined the battle, Argus finally smiled.

But his smile quickly disappeared.

Argus realized that he seemed to have underestimated the animosity between Gryffindor and Slytherin.

It was unclear who tipped them off, but as soon as the members of Gryffindor and Slytherin heard the news, anyone who wasn't in class rushed over.

Without the slightest hesitation, they immediately joined the battle!

What started as a small skirmish involving twenty or thirty people quickly escalated into a full-blown brawl between the two houses!

And as time went on, the numbers continued to increase…
