<><><>Back in the present, Alexander seems more confident when he agrees to sing with Daisy. Yennedith brings drinks, and hours pass before they decide to order pizza. — You have all the talent to be a singer — Daisy says.
— Of course not, the music was too loud to hear me — Alexander says with a smile.
— I'll take singing lessons; I won't let you win again — Daisy says. She's a little more relaxed.
— It's not a competition to see who sings better, Grandma — Tadeus says.
— You just have to learn the songs; that's the point — Yennedith says — You have to listen to it over and over until you learn it, for next time.
— But I don't like the music you listen to; it's all about obscenities — the woman says.
— She can choose a song she knows, and I'll sing it for her — Alexander says.
— How kind — Daisy says with a smile. After Alexander's a cappella singing and they finish eating, Yennedith takes her grandmother to bed. Tadeus, after tidying up with Alexander's help, offers to take the guide dog out, but his sister goes first.
— Let me do it — she says — It's so hot in here, I need some fresh air.
— I better get going — Alexander sighs.
— It was nice meeting you, Alexander — Yennedith says with a smile and heads out the door.
— I'll join you — Tadeus says, grabbing his coat. They walk to the gatehouse where Tadeus asks the security guard to call a taxi and also sends a text message to an unsaved contact on his phone — Thanks for agreeing to come — Tadeus says — I hope it's not too sudden, you know, because we haven't known each other for very long.
Alejandro leans in and kisses him sweetly — I'm in love with you — says, kissing him again and wrapping his arms around Tadeus' waist. He looks into his eyes, waiting for a response, and smiles, trying to hide his nervousness. Tadeus takes his hands out of the outer pockets of his coat to take Alexander's face in his hands and join their lips once more in a gentle but passionate kiss until the taxi arrives.
Yennedith watches them from a distance and approaches Tadeus once Alexander has left. — Are you sure you don't feel anything for him? — she asks.
— Don't ask me stupid questions — Tadeus says.
— Maybe he'd understand if you told him the truth — she says, but her brother doesn't react. Instead, he pulls out the phone he just stole from Alexander during the kiss and smashes it against the floor repeatedly to make sure.
At the same time, he receives a text message from that unknown number. "He's home now" the message from the fake taxi driver who transported Alexander reads.
"Disappear" Tadeus replies with another text and deletes the conversation, but not before blocking that number.

Alexander arrives at the gated community where he sees police patrols cordoning off the area and a large number of journalists taking photos and asking questions. He avoids answering any questions and runs to his house where he sees the door open and a police patrol car — Sir, I need you to please keep your distance.
— I need to get in, I live here — he says to one of the officers.
— Are you Mr. Strauss? —the officer asks.
— Yes. What's happening here? — he asks.
— There was a series of robberies tonight, and some people were attacked while they slept — the man says — Do you think you could give us your statement?
— Of course, officer — Alexander replies. He walks past the officer to enter his house. — Where's Dove?
— We didn't find anyone on the property — the officer says — We're gathering information from the crime scenes. Is she your wife?
— She's my housekeeper, she lives here — Strauss says. Everything's been ransacked, the cameras are broken, and the wiring is ripped from the walls — Was she attacked?
— We don't know — the man says, following Alexander upstairs — Mr. Strauss, it's important that you give us your statement so we can get a better idea of how and why…
— I have to catch an eight o'clock flight in the morning. Is it possible for me to give my statement tonight so I can leave?
The police officer nods, and Alexander follows him to the patrol car, heading for the police station. Once he answers all the questions, Alexander says — I'll send my assistant to make an estimate of the missing items. When can I go into the house?
— We'll let you know when we've gathered all the necessary information.
— Please don't hesitate to call me first if you find the culprits — Alexander says.
As soon as he leaves the station, he returns to the house where many police officers are still questioning people around the gated community. He grabs the suitcase and a travel bag Dove had packed for him earlier and leaves the residence in his own car. As he drives, he can't stop thinking about what just happened. He didn't see any of his men, Dove is missing, and his house has been ransacked. He tries to contact Leonard multiple times on his second phone, but the man doesn't answer.
He boards his plane and contacts Claire — I hope you have good news as always — the Animal says in the video call.
— I'm sorry, sir. The shadow has hidden itself quite well — the woman says.
— It's okay, that doesn't matter anymore — Alexander says — There was a robbery. Go to the house and make an estimate of everything that was lost. If you don't hear from Dove in two days, report her missing — He tells her and, without waiting for a response, hangs up.
