Chapter 41 - Chapter 041: The Confused Little One

When Seiya ran into Class Eight, the class was a 'demons' dance' and very lively.

Many mischievous boys were jumping up and down, making a ruckus, like a troop of monkeys!

One student was the most outrageous, leaping onto the teacher's desk, proclaiming himself the Fifth Raikage, and commanding everyone to follow his orders.

This action was undoubtedly an attempt to become the king of the monkey troop.

Unfortunately, no one indulged him. Instead, several people 'revolted,' vowing to overthrow his leadership.

The most violently reacting student immediately dismantled a table leg to express strong protest.

Without parental supervision or a teacher's suppression, a group of five and six-year-old children gathered, creating a magnificent scene of willful playing.

Seiya had truly never witnessed such a sight and was so astonished that he temporarily forgot the sadness of separating from his mother, and his pupils returned to their normal black.

None of his peers in the room looked sad, and no one was crying. Everyone seemed to treat separating from their parents as a normal event.

Seeing this, Seiya felt embarrassed to cry anymore. As a fellow child, he couldn't be shown up by the others!

Seiya immediately wiped away his tears and tried his best to avoid the chaotic 'monkeys,' finding a quiet spot in the back row by the window.

This area was not affected by the class's 'contending heroes,' and several children were quietly doing their own things.

Seiya silently sat in the empty seat, hugging his small backpack.

His deskmate, a brown-skinned, white-haired boy, smiled when he saw him sit down.

"Hello, my name is Omoi. Please take care of me from now on."

He spoke with a lollipop in his mouth, his words a bit muffled.

The surrounding environment was also noisy, making his words hard to distinguish.

However, Seiya understood and politely said, "Hello, my name is Tojo Seiya. Please take care of me from now on."

Someone with sharp ears heard his name and immediately came over enthusiastically.

"Are you Director Tojo's son?"

Seiya nodded.

"I'm Ayui!"

The boy smiled.

"Last year, my mother was seriously injured, and the doctors couldn't cure her. It was Director Tojo who saved my mother! I won't say thank you for the great kindness, but if you ever need anything, you can come to me for help! I won't refuse!"

"Okay, thank you."

Seiya nodded, being accustomed to this.

After all, his mother often saved lives.

Whenever an ordinary medical Shinobi couldn't cure a patient, they would seek help from his mother, the Director.

His mother didn't need to examine the injury; she only needed to remotely send a ball of chakra to the injured person, and even the most severe injuries could be instantly healed.

That was his mother's unique medical ninjutsu, called Kaido, and its effect was incredibly powerful.

Over time, many families were grateful for his mother's life-saving grace.

Seiya had experienced expressions of gratitude like Ayui's several times before.

...

The class remained noisy, and Ayui returned to join the 'King of the Monkeys' competition.

Seiya sat bored in his seat. Omoi pulled out a bag of multicolored lollipops from his backpack, gently nudged his shoulder, and asked, "Want one?"

"No, thank you."

Seiya shook his head in refusal.

His mother had told him not to eat things from strangers outside.

Meanwhile, the girl in the front seat turned around, brown-skinned with red hair and a spirited expression.

"My name is Karui, nice to meet you."

"Hello."

Seiya then introduced himself again.

Since childhood, he had hardly interacted with his peers, knowing only people who were decades older than him.

Meeting classmates one after another made him feel a strange sense of excitement and thrill.

"I heard you have the Kekkai Genkai of the Sharingan. Could you show us?" Karui asked curiously.

"Huh?" Seiya looked confused. "What is the Sharingan? And what is Kekkai Genkai?"

"You don't even know that!"

Karui looked suspicious, assuming Seiya was pretending to be ignorant.

How could anyone not know something about themselves?

However, Seiya's expression was very sincere.

Karui hesitated but believed him, nonetheless.

"Alright, let me teach you the basics of being a Shinobi!"

"The Sharingan is a special type of eye that possesses various abilities like observation and genjutsu, which greatly enhance a Shinobi's strength."

"Kekkai Genkai refers to abilities inherited through genes, passed down from generation to generation within a clan. Simply put, if the parents have it, the child will have it."

Seiya nodded thoughtfully and said happily, "So you're saying I have a really amazing eye!"

"Exactly! Can you show us?" Karui asked expectantly.

"My eyes are right here. You can look all you want." Seiya opened his eyes wide, displaying his black, pure pupils.

Karui's expression froze, and she looked quite speechless.

She composed herself and reminded him, "These are just your normal eyes. The Sharingan is red and needs to be activated, like turning on a light."

"Turning on a light?"

Seiya was a bit confused.

There was no switch on his eyes. Did he have to poke them directly?

That would make him blind!

Karui sighed, spreading her hands in helplessness.

"I don't know exactly how to activate it either. You'll have to figure it out yourself. I'm also surprised that you don't know how to activate your own eye..."

The word abruptly cut off, and the unspoken 'eye' suddenly turned into a surprised shout.

"That's it!"

Karui looked excited, enthusiastically pointing at Seiya's eyes.

Seiya was startled by her reaction and looked confused. "Did I activate my eyes?"

Karui took out a small mirror from her pocket and held it up for Seiya to see.

In the mirror, his black pupil had turned scarlet, with a single Tomoe slowly spinning within, radiating an unparalleled quality!

Seiya blinked, unable to believe this was his own eye.

He then recalled everything just now, thinking about how he had activated it.

Did it just activate when I thought about activating it?

Seiya wasn't entirely sure and decided to ask his mother after school.

Omoi, beside him, was staring at his mesmerizing eyes, slightly dazed, momentarily forgetting to suck on his lollipop.

These eyes should be able to keep these noisy monkeys in check! Omoi thought to himself.

"I heard that people with the Sharingan will at least become Jonin later!" Karui said enviously, clicking her tongue in admiration.

"Really?!"

Seiya was overjoyed. Jonin was a very, very distant goal!

Karui immediately poured a bucket of cold water on him.

"But your Sharingan is not the complete form. Generally speaking, there should be three Tomoe in one eye, and you only have one."

"How can I turn it into three Tomoe?" Seiya asked in confusion.

"I don't know either," Karui shrugged. "Ask your mother when you get home from school."

"Oh."

Before the first class had even started, Seiya had accumulated a belly full of questions and couldn't wait for school to end to see his mother.
