Chapter 13
Hazel was on her way to the cafeteria when she spotted both Killian and Levi.
"Hey, that jerk needs your help in the pool room," Hazel said, leaving for the cafeteria.
"Did she just say Kenzie needs her help? What has she done to the poor guy now?" Killian said.
"Guy, it might be serious, let's go check it out," Levi said.
Soon the two boys left for the pool room.
"Hey girl, well have you been?" Zinnia asked as soon as Hazel joined them.
"I was just dealing with some drama," Hazel replied.
"Okay, it's the bell, would soon ring for breakover," Emory replied.
After taking a few spoons from her food.
The bell for breakover rang, and the three friends left the cafeteria for the next lecture.
As soon as Kilian and Levi entered the pool room, they burst into laughter.
"Hey bro, are you really crying?" Kilian said.
"Just please get me out of here, these rats are really torturous," Kenzie said in tears.
"Okay, okay, just stop the tears," Levi said, laughing really hard.
So as soon as they removed the net from the top of the pool, they helped Kenzie out of the pool and handed his clothes to him. After Kenzie wore his clothes, he stormed out of the pool room and went straight to the lecture hall 'cause the bell already rang.
As soon as Kenzie entered the lecture hall, Hazel spotted him but ignored him, trying hard not to laugh. But she couldn't 'cause the scene kept playing in her head.
"Hey, what's so funny?" Zinya asked.
"Nothing, something really funny just popped into my head."
"Hey, the lecturer is already here, let's keep quiet," Hazel said as she spotted the lecturer.
Lecturers swooped into the lecture hall one by one. As the bell rang for the next lecturers, each lecturer wouldn't waste time nor give the students time to rest. As the time passed by, the closing bell rang.
"And that's all for today. Good day, class. Good day," the last lecturer said before leaving the lecture hall.
"Ah, today was really tough," Zinnia said.
"Yeah, lecturers just keep pouring one after the other. You know, I used to wonder if they actually put a whole book into their head 'cause they teach like their life depends on it," Emory added.
"And the funniest part is how they teach without checking the textbook," Zinnia said again.
"But class was interesting throughout, especially the chemistry class," Hazel said.
"What?" Emory and Zinnia exclaimed.
"Did you just say that?" Emory asked.
"Yeah, most especially what the lecturer said energy analysis," Hazel replied.
"Girl, did you mean you've learned all what we were taught without even forcing yourself to do so?" Emory asked.
"Yeah, it's really good though," Hazel said.
"I don't even remember what we were taught just now, and girl, you've already memorized every single detail," Emory said.
"Yes, that's how my brain works," Hazel said.
"Then give us part of your brain," they both said at the same time.
"You guys are really funny, like it's something big. There's no big deal in it, right," Hazel said.
"Girl, how old are you?" Zinnia asked.
"Twenty, why are you asking?"Hazel asked
What!!, Emory and Zinnia exclaimed.
"What happened? Am I somewhat older?" Hazel asked.
"Older? You are literally the youngest in the here in our sets" Emery replied.
"So why are you behaving like it's something big?" Hazel asked.
"Girl, even if I was your age, I wouldn't pass the scholarship entrance exams," Zinnia said.
"But you passed, girl. I am twenty-two, what do you expect?" Emory said.
"What was your score in the entrance exams?" Zinnia asked.
"Ninety-nine. What about you?" Hazel asked.
"What?" Zinnia exclaimed.
"My score was just eighty-nine."
"Girl, you are smart, yeah, even at this young age," Emory added.
"Everybody, listen," one of the students in the class said, gaining the whole class's attention.
"The queens are in London, they arrived just this morning," the student said again.
"What? Really?" another student asked.
"Yeah, and it is said that they are looking for their kids," the student said again.
"Who are the queens?" Hazel asked her friends.
"Yeah, who are they?" Zinnia also asked.
"Wow, so you guys do not know? The queens are the richest people in New York, and I also heard they are searching for three of their kids," Emory explained.
"Wow, what really happened? Aren't they living in New York? How come their kids got lost here in London?" Zinnia asked.
"Well, it was said that the three kids are actually girls, two are twins and they are also older than the last one. It was said that the three girls insisted on coming here for vacation. So on their way to their suits they got into an accident," Emory explained.
