Chapter 67 - Chapter 66: We do nothing

Polaris

En route to Saboady Archipelago

On the ship, Raeven sat on a chair; he is currently inside the meeting room of the ship.

"Raeven-kun, what can I do for you this time?" Shakky's voice can be heard on the Den Den Mushi.

"A group of fishmen entered East Blue and massacred one of the towns that had a trading relationship with us. The marines are working with them, so my family killed them. There are only 3 survivors," Raeven said, which made Shakky completely silent, and then the face of the Den Den Mushi transformed into Rayleigh's face.

"Did you meet an octopus fishman? The one I told you about before?" Rayleigh asked.

"He is one of the survivors, along with his captain, Arlong, and the commander of G-16 of the marines, Captain Nezumi. Right now we are en route to Sabaody Archipelago; we'll meet there, Rayleigh-san," Raeven said.

"Thank you for sparing his life; I'll wait for you guys here at Grove 13," Rayleigh said, and Raeven ended the call.

"You are lucky; Rayleigh-san is a member of our family. If not for him, you would be ashes now," Raeven said as he looked at Hachi, who is currently bandaged like a cocoon.

Hachi looked at Raeven to say thanks, but the wounds on his body prevented him from speaking.

"This is the last time that my family will show mercy to you, Fishman Hachi. If I see you with someone doing like that again, your fate will be like this too. I will sell you to the Celestial Dragons as a slave," Raeven said, which made Hachi's eye become shocked.

Everyone knows that being a slave of a Celestial Dragon is a fate worse than death, especially for other races, and the Celestial Dragons' favorite slaves are Giants and Fishmen. The thought of being sold as a slave made Hachi shudder in fear.

"You might think I'm cruel, but when your crew is killing those people, you didn't stop them. Even if you tell me that you didn't kill anyone, you are still there. You let them massacre those people. If you really didn't want to join them, you had the time to leave, but you didn't," Raeven said.

"Once you're free, please feel free to tell Jinbei what happened here. If he has a problem with what my family did, then we are prepared to go to war with you guys," Raeven said. Hachi just sat there; his eyes were full of regret, but it was already too late. The only thing he can do now is repent.

"Ace, speed up. Once we sell these two, we should give the money to the citizens. Though it won't bring back the life that is already lost, at least they can start a much lighter life," Raeven added, and Ace nodded as the flight speed of the ship became faster.

In just two hours they arrived at the Sabaody Archipelago; after they docked at mini-port Rayleigh, Shakky was already waiting for them.

"Hachi, I already warned you about this guy, but you didn't listen. You're very lucky that the ones you met are the Dracule Family," Rayleigh said as he saw the cocoon. He just sighed and shook his head with great disappointment.

"Raeven, everyone, thank you for sparing his life again. I'll take him for now; once he recovers, I'll teach him some manners," Rayleigh said, and he grabbed Hachi and left.

"Hachi really is unfortunate this time; out of all the people he followed, he chose this man," Shakky said as she looked at Arlong, who is currently sleeping because of the sedative.

"A fishman, a former crewmate of the Warlord Jinbei, he will fetch a good price," Shakky said as she smiled. Hachi saved Rayleigh before, so Shakky treated him as a friend, but that's only him; as a former pirate, Shakky didn't have any empathy for Arlong and Nezumi's fate.

"Can you recommend a place to sell them? I'm planning to give the money to the citizens so they can start anew," Raeven said.

"Fufufu, of course I know someone. Let's head back first; I'll contact them once you guys are inside," Shakky said as she guided them towards the bar.

The Dracule family chilled while Shakky called the man he knows, and after a few moments, 3 men arrived at the bar; all of them are wearing a flamboyant noble cloak, and they're literally loaded with gold accessories.

"Shakky-san, Raeven-sama, and everyone, nice to meet you. I am the manager of the Auction House at Grove 1; my name is Ramon," the man in the middle said. He was a middle-aged man with a medium build, and he wore eyeglasses in the shape of hearts.

"My brother here recently got some goods: a former crewmate of the Warlord Jinbei, a fishman with a 20 million bounty; his name is Arlong, and this is a former Marine captain called Nezumi. Can you auction house take them?" Shakky asked, and when Ramon heard the words "fishman" and "former crewmate of a warlord," his eyes started to shine.

"Raeven-sama, if you are willing to trust us, then I will take these guys and sell them. I guarantee you won't be disappointed. As for the fee, I'll take 5%," he said.

"Okay, take them; just send the money to Shakky-san when it's done," Raeven said as he stood up.

"Shakky-san, thanks for the help. Come visit Sixis when you have the time; we're heading back," he said as he walked outside the bar.

"Take careee," Shakky said as she puffed her smoke, then her eyes narrowed as she looked at Ramon.

"Try to trick us on this, and I'll hang you up on Grove 1," Shakky said, which made the three men sweat.

"Don't worry, Shakky-san, our auction house is known for our integrity," Ramon quickly said as he signaled for his two men to pick up Arlong and Nezumi.

"In two days after the auction I'll deliver the money to you, Shakky-san," he said, and then they left.

"If they try to do something, obliterate their whole group," Shakky said, and a waitress walked out from the kitchen.

"Yes, Shakky-sama, I'll relay your orders to the others at the island," the maid said, and Shakky just nodded.

Then suddenly Rayleigh arrived with him. Hachi is bandaged like a cocoon.

"Rayleigh, thank you for your help this time," Hachi said as he started crying. Rayleigh just sighed and patted his bandaged body.

The Polaris rose up from the dock, and it quickly flew away. Monet and Robin are not interested in exploring this place right now; once the plan starts, they can go here anytime they want.

2 days later the news of the Arlong Pirates colluding with the G-16 Marine branch of East Blue shook the 4 Blues and the Paradise.

Pirates colluding with corrupt marines are numerous, but those who get caught in the act are too few, especially when the pirate crew has a special background.

News of Arlong, the former crewmate of the Warlord Jinbei, being sold as a slave shocked the paradise; many were shocked when they heard this news, as a crewmate of a Warlord is basically untouchable. Unfortunately, Arlong met the wrong guys.

While his crew and the Marines are attacking and killing the citizens of Waterloo Town, they are seen by the members of the Dracule Family, who immediately crush them. A whole squad of Marines is killed, the fishmen are killed too, and the only survivors of this event are Arlong and Captain Nezumi, who got sold as slaves.

When they read the news about who has the guts to do something like that, selling a marine and a former crewmate of a warlord to a human auction, everyone sucks in cold breaths; the one who sold them is the warlord Shinigami Raeven himself.

At the end of the headline are the words Raeven said: "The money is already given to the citizens of Waterloo; as for the fate of those two scums, I don't care."

Rumors said that Arlong and Nezumi were bought by a Celestial Dragon, which made everyone shudder; everyone on the sea knows it: being a slave of a Celestial Dragon is worse than death.

Fishman Island

Jinbei smashed the table; he already knew that Arlong would do something crazy, but he didn't expect that he would rally his men to massacre civilians.

Then they were wiped out. Arlong is already sold to a Celestial Dragon, while Hachi contacted him before he said that he was currently staying at Rayleigh's house in the Sabaody Archipelago.

"Boss Jinbei, what are we going to do next?" A fishman asked. Jinbei sighed as he started to think.

"For now we do nothing; the Dracule Family is not something our Sun Pirates can contend with," Jinbei said, just thinking about those two, Shinigami Raeven, whose full strength is unknown, and his brother, the strongest swordsman in the world, Hawk-Eyes, made his headache.
