"F-Fūinjutsu?"
Taro's voice shook in confusion, as Sealing Jutsu is a scarce ninjutsu throughout the ninja world, with only the major clans having access to these Fūinjutsus.
However, throughout the entirety of the ninja world, there is one clan that stood as an anomaly even from the past, future, or present. That clan being the Uzumaki clan.
The Uzumaki clan, a clan that can rival an entire nation by themselves.
Most of their clansmen have a strong vitality while also having an enormous amount of chakra, with a chunin being comparable to an elite jonin. Not only do they have a strong body and an endless amount of chakra, they are the strongest clan in terms of Fūinjutsu.
And finally, they are one of the few clans that is a direct descendant of the Sage of the Six Paths, a being so legendary that his feats became myths. A power so strong that many called it legends and some called it the power of a God.
Seemingly reading Taro's expression, Kamishiro spoke, "No, I didn't learn from the Uzumaki." He rolled his eyes, "They are thousands of miles away, how the hell would I even meet an Uzumaki?"
Taro nodded in understanding, but the more he understood, the more questions lingered in his mind, "So where did you learn Fūinjutsu?"
In the surrounding clans around the Hosai Clan, there has not been a ninja in history to have a single Fūinjutsu, let alone the Hebidoku clan, a clan known for their brute earth release strength.
Furthermore, from the ninjutsus collected as spoils of war, none of the scrolls contained a single sealing jutsu from the Hebidoku Clan.
And even if the surrounding clans or the major clans had their own form of Fūinjutsu, no clan would be dumb enough to give away such a precious jutsu.
"Did you perhaps create it on your own?"
Taro couldn't help but ask, as Kamishiro's IQ was enough to create a ninjutsu, or even a Fūinjutsu.
Kamishiro let out a wry smile, "No, I didn't create them. Although after learning sealing jutsu, I ended up creating a few of my own." Before Taro could ask any more questions, Kamishiro spoke, "I've learned them from the 'Sand Guardian Campaign' where the major clans hired multiple smaller clans to raid an ancient city guarded by a giant beast made out of sand."
Taro's eyes widened as a figure flashed in his mind, "Shukaku!"
Noticing the shocked expression of Taro, Kamishiro raised an eyebrow and asked, "Do you perhaps know about the Sand Guardian Campaign? The guardian was called the 1-Tailed Tail Beast, a powerful being that could wipe out an entire force with a single blast…"
Taro began putting the pieces together. The more he thought about Shukaku, the more he understood how Kamishiro got his sealing jutsu.
After all, Shukaku is a master at sealing jutsu. Even the marks on his body are all sealing jutsu, meaning he doesn't need to weave hand signs just to seal someone or something.
Thinking back to the topic, Taro couldn't help but ask, "How does Sealing Jutsu correlate with your puppets? From what I recall, Sealing Jutsu doesn't help with controlling puppets or allowing them to blast massive amounts of chakra for no reason."
A faint glint appeared in Kamishiro's eyes, to which Taro quickly noticed.
"Is he perhaps a Sealing Jutsu fanatic?" pondered Taro.
Noticing the weird look Taro was giving him, Kamishiro made a fake cough to clear the atmosphere and began to explain, "Sealing Jutsu is the strongest form of jutsu in this world if used correctly." He paused before continuing once again, "Not only does it have infinite potential, it's also the only ninjutsu that counters all types of ninjutsu, whether it be the basic nature jutsu, or powerful ninjutsu made from Kekkei Genkai."
Although Taro was skeptical about his words, he had no way to discern whether he was lying, boasting, or telling the truth. Because he hasn't seen a perfected sealing jutsu in person yet.
Yes, he has seen sealing ninjutsu in the anime and manga, but most of them weren't really as strong as what Kamishiro describes. The only sealing masters he had ever seen in the anime were Minato who transported a full-power Ten-Tails Tailed Beast Bomb. A feat that could be considered legendary.
But to say Sealing Jutsu could counter all ninjutsu felt like a stretch. Because he had seen many ninjutsu in the anime and manga. If sealing jutsu were really that powerful, to the point where it can counter all ninjutsu, then why couldn't all sealing jutsu masters just seal every single jutsu thrown at them?
You could say that it's because of chakra consumption, but then how did the Uzumaki fall? If sealing jutsu could seal all sorts of ninjutsu, then why couldn't they just seal the ninjutsu thrown at them?
Many of these questions appeared in the mind of Taro, and many of them had answers. But without undeniable proof, he could only theorize and make conclusions based on his own imagination.
Seeing the questioning look on Taro's face, Kamishiro spoke, "Although what I said is true, that all ninjutsu can be sealed, and all things can be sealed, the hardest part of this process is actually creating these ninjutsu and applying them in real combat."
Kamishiro looked at his own creation, the puppets. He sighed before continuing, "As far as I know, no one has ever reached that strength. Only the Sage of the Six Paths has ever reached that realm—even sealing a Goddess, by creating the moon as a cage."
Taro raised an eyebrow, "You believe that?"
Taro knew that the so-called "Goddess" is the mother of the Sage of the Six Paths, a being not from this world. But he was still surprised that nobody like Kamishiro would know about the "Goddess" story.
Kamishiro pondered for a bit then said, "Part of it. I believe that the Sage was real, but not someone strong enough to create the moon." Seeing the unanswered curiosity on Taro's face, Kamishiro continued, "I learned about the story from the ancient city that the One-Tail was guarding."
Taro thought to himself, "Hmm? How is that there? If I remember from back on Earth, I've read a spoiler that the Tailed Beasts didn't even know that someone like Kaguya existed, as they were created after Hagoromo defeated his mother."
Shaking his head, Taro asked once again, "Ok, I understand what you're saying. But where exactly do we get to the point? You haven't told me how sealing jutsu is connected to your puppets…"
Kamishiro frowned, "Did you not hear what I said earlier? Sealing Jutsu has infinite potential if used correctly." He sighed and shook his head, remembering that he was talking to a child, "Sealing Jutsu isn't only used for sealing, it can be used to do amazing things if used correctly."
He picked up the puppet that was on the table and performed a hand sign.
Once he performed the hand sign, black text suddenly rapidly spread throughout the small puppet, covering it with dark text that Taro could not understand.
Kamishiro explained, forgetting about the second rule in the contract he made, "This sealing jutsu is a jutsu that seals chakra." A faint blue light appeared in his palms that made its way toward the tiny puppet, "Once the chakra is inside the puppet, the seal activates. Once it's activated, the chakra will try to escape as it's already outside my body, but as the chakra tries to escape, the seal creates a pressure, preventing the chakra from escaping."
When he stopped pouring chakra into the puppet, the sealing marks on the puppet slowly disappeared.
Once the sealing marks fully disappeared, the puppet began to move, "Once my chakra is inside the puppet and fully sealed by the first seal, another sealing jutsu will activate."
He opened his palm and a dot appeared on his palm, "This is a two-step seal that allows me to control the puppet through the seal on my palm and the second seal on the puppet. And because the chakra inside the puppet is mine, it's easier to control as the chakra signature on my palm is the same as the second seal on the puppet."
A wry smile crossed Kamishiro's face as he saw Taro beginning to understand the concept, "Then finally, the third seal."
The mouth of the tiny puppet opened and a barrel appeared in its mouth. The barrel began to condense the chakra inside the puppet on the tip of the barrel, causing a miniature blue orb to appear.
"The third seal opens up a tiny hole on the first seal, where the chakra can flow into." Kamishiro pointed at the barrel and continued, "Once all the chakra is condensed here, the third seal can finally unleash the pent-up chakra that was pressurized by the first seal to create a massive explosion, enough to kill someone like Mashiro."
Kamishiro dispersed the chakra gathering on the mouth of the tiny puppet. Once the chakra was finally gone, the puppet became lifeless once again.
Taro couldn't help but chuckle dryly, "Kamishiro… You're a genius!"
Kamishiro snorted and said, "Although I've explained too much, I'm not worried you'll create one on your own. It took me years to create these three sealing jutsu on my own. And from the looks of it, you don't look like someone who practices sealing jutsu."
Taro shook his head, "I told you, I don't want your ninjutsu." He was about to continue when he suddenly realized something, "You… How many of these puppets do you have?"
Taro noticed that all Kamishiro needed to do was place a small amount of chakra inside one of the puppets, and it would be enough to create massive explosions.
Meaning that if he were to create the puppets and place tiny bits of chakra inside all of them, he would only need to wait a few hours to be back at full strength and continue creating endless amounts of tiny puppet armies.
What's more, he could theoretically create a human-sized puppet with chakra comparable to himself. Not only that, from the fight with Mashiro, Taro remembered that he saw a puppet crocodile-like head that appeared out of nowhere during the fight.
Kamishiro chuckled, "Do you understand why I don't want my jutsu to be spread around?"
