Star Dou Forest—Core Region

"Di Tian—I feel my bloodline has evolved slightly," Xiong Jun (Bear Lord) rumbled, his voice echoing through the trees.

His massive hands clenched and unclenched, savoring the surge of power within.

Di Tian's golden dragon eyes swept over the assembled Ferocious Beasts, voice resonant.

"And the rest of you—any changes?"

Bi Ji's gentle voice carried unmistakable joy:

"Indeed—my bloodline has refined! My healing power is purer than ever!"

"Same here!" Myriad Demon King and Scarlet King chorused, excitement barely contained.

Zi Ji nodded solemnly. "My dragon blood… has clearly strengthened."

Di Tian's draconic aura rippled with satisfaction. "Return to seclusion—master the Lords' bestowed arts."

He fixed Xiong Jun with a stern glare. "Especially you—no more causing trouble!"

Xiong Jun's face twisted into a pout. "Di Tian! My loyalty to our Lord is as bright as the sun and moon!"

Bi Ji hid a laugh. The others stayed silent.

Everyone knew Xiong Jun and the late Evil Eye Overlord—Evil Emperor—were the forest's most notorious troublemakers.

If not for Huo Yuhao slaying the Evil Emperor, Star Dou would've had one more chaos-bringer…

Di Tian snorted, his left foreclaw twitching—an old scar still marred it, a relic of Xiong Jun's "Sky-Tearing Claw" and Evil Emperor's "Light of Space-Time".

Only the Dragon God's personal "Dragon God Claw" technique had saved him…

"Enough."

Di Tian's voice dropped—yet thundered with authority.

"Cultivate diligently. Do not disgrace the Lords' grace."

He didn't finish—but his dragon aura said all.

The Five Great Demon Beasts bowed as one, then vanished as streaks of light into the forest depths.

Di Tian gazed toward the Lake of Life, golden eyes gleaming with anticipation.

Lake of Life—Core of Star Dou Forest

Fang Yang stood by the shore, wind stirring his black hair.

He turned to Gu Yue, voice earnest:

"Gu Yue—be cautious cultivating the Desolate Demon Eye."

The technique demanded immense spiritual power—and carried dire backlash risks. One misstep could mean blindness.

"I'll be careful," she nodded, hair drifting like silk.

Just as Fang Yang prepared to cultivate the Three Thousand Lightning Movement, he paused.

"Gu Yue—can you control lightning?"

Her palm opened gracefully.

CRACKLE!

A sapphire bolt danced in her hand, hissing like a live wire.

Fang Yang's eyes lit with realization.

"Can you fuse wind and lightning into Wind-Thunder Energy… and channel it into me?"

Gu Yue understood.

Before her, emerald wind and azure lightning swirled in perfect harmony,

merging into a primordial tempest.

"Ready?" she asked softly.

"Begin," he said.

She guided the Wind-Thunder Energy into his body.

Fang Yang shuddered—then steeled his mind, directing the storm through his meridians.

His Heavenly Flame circulated, refining the chaotic energy, absorbing it grain by grain.

He sat cross-legged, body trembling—until the storm settled into his bones.

Time flowed.

Fang Yang opened his eyes, fingers snapping together.

ZAP!

A faint blue arc leapt from his fingertips, hissing with raw power.

"Wind-Thunder Energy—refined!" Triumph sparked in his eyes.

Now—the true trial began.

He closed his eyes, consciousness diving inward.

Arcane visions flooded his mind—each revealing the supreme secrets of Three Thousand Lightning Movement.

"Body as Lightning—Master Control with the Mind!"

Eight ancient silver characters blazed in his soul.

Understanding dawned.

WHOOSH!

Refined Wind-Thunder Energy surged to his feet, encasing them in crackling blue light.

He leaned forward, right leg arcing in a mystic pose—perfectly mirroring the vision.

Three Thousand Lightning Movement—Earth-Tier Low-Grade footwork, three stages: Lightning Flash, Instant Lightning, Three Thousand Lightning.

Fang Yang hadn't even grasped Lightning Flash—but every master began somewhere.

He practiced relentlessly.

Lightning flickered across the lakeshore—his form blinking in and out of existence.

At first—clumsy, disjointed.

Then—fluid, seamless, leaving only trails of azure afterimages.

"How's your cultivation, Fang Yang?" Gu Yue called from the lakeside.

He halted—lightning fading, wiping sweat with a grin.

"Not bad."

Confidence blazed in his eyes. "Give me time—I'll master Lightning Flash soon."

Gu Yue smiled faintly.

"And you?" he asked. "How's the Desolate Demon Eye?"

Her brow furrowed. "Harder than I expected…"

"No rush," he soothed. "Take your time."

"Mm," she murmured.

Suddenly—

THUD. THUD. THUD…

A booming voice cut through the calm:

"Your servant, Xiong Jun—pays respects to the Kings!"

"Approach," Fang Yang said flatly.

Xiong Jun's hulking form emerged, kneeling with exaggerated reverence.

Even subdued, his beastly aura made grass tremble.

"Finished evolving your bloodline? Mastered the technique?" Fang Yang asked, amused.

Xiong Jun scratched his head, sheepish. "Uh… no, Kings…"

"Then what—?"

"I worried cultivation would tire you!" Xiong Jun beamed, pulling a storage soul-guided device from his fur. "Bought premium human delicacies!"

Fang Yang laughed, floating the device over with spiritual power.

"Thoughtful. Dismissed."

"Your servant departs!" Xiong Jun bowed deeply—stealing a final glance at Gu Yue.

Seeing the Silver Dragon Kings didn't object, he left grinning like a fool.

Fang Yang turned to Gu Yue. "That bear…"

"Surprisingly clever," she remarked, a hint of amusement in her voice.
