Fang Yang gazed down at Tang Wulin, curled up on the ground—his body still trembling unconsciously, face pale as paper.

"Enough, Tang Wulin…"

Fang Yang sighed softly, his voice laced with complex emotion.

His finger brushed lightly over his storage ring. A sphere of azure Sea God energy emerged, pulsing with a gentle, luminous glow in his palm.

This power—once belonging to the Sea God Tang San—was now being used to heal his own son.

Fang Yang wasn't heartless. After spending so long with Tang Wulin, he truly regarded him as a friend.

But… if Tang Wulin ever stood in his way in the future…

A flicker of cold killing intent flashed in his eyes.

The blue orb suddenly trembled violently—as if sensing something.

No longer hesitating, Fang Yang slowly channeled the Sea God energy into Tang Wulin's body.

As the divine power flowed in, Tang Wulin's pallor faded. Color returned to his cheeks, and his trembling stilled.

Then—a brilliant blue light erupted from within him.

"Bloodline awakening?" Fang Yang raised an eyebrow.

As the son of a God-King, Tang Wulin's innate talent was never ordinary.

His sister had been born with innate full soul power—he surely wasn't far behind.

Had the Golden Dragon King's core not suppressed him, he would've awakened twin martial souls long ago.

Now, with that bloodline removed, the Sea God energy had triggered his dormant potential.

Fang Yang watched as five shifting lights—blue, red, green, yellow, and black—flickered across Tang Wulin's skin, the yellow flicker the faintest of all.

After a moment of careful sensing, Fang Yang's eyes widened in surprise.

"Five mixed bloodlines…"

Within Tang Wulin's body, Sea God bloodline, Asura bloodline, Blue Silver Empress bloodline, Hao Tian bloodline, and the faintest trace of human bloodline were intricately intertwined.

A sharp gleam flashed in Fang Yang's eyes. An idea formed—

and a sly, knowing smile curved his lips.

"Tang San… you sought to use your son as a pawn in your ten-thousand-year scheme?

Then today, I'll give you a little surprise gift!"

With a wave of his hand, ten thousand flames roared to life, enveloping Tang Wulin.

The Heavenly Flame didn't burn his flesh—it sank deep into his bloodlines.

"Refine!"

Under the fire's crucible, the five bloodlines began to fuse and restructure.

Using the human bloodline as the foundation, Fang Yang melted the other four into primal bloodline essences.

This was defying heaven itself—a complete erasure of every trace of Tang San's manipulations.

Within the flames, Tang Wulin's body underwent a miraculous transformation.

His chaotic bloodlines were purified and reordered.

Human bloodline now dominated, while the others became the core of his martial souls.

When the flames finally receded—Tang Wulin's martial souls had evolved.

His Blue Silver Grass had ascended to Blue Silver Empress, then fused with Sea God energy—becoming Azure Sea God Blue Silver.

His second martial soul, the Hao Tian Hammer, had absorbed the Asura's killing intent—transforming into the Crimson Asura Hao Tian Hammer.

Fang Yang surveyed the reborn Tang Wulin with satisfaction, a trace of warmth in his eyes.

Softly, he said:

"From this day forth, Tang Wulin… you are no one's pawn. You live for yourself alone."

With those words, Tang Wulin's fate was rewritten.

Fang Yang waved his hand—the Heaven-Sealing Divine Ban dissolved.

The Heavenly Flame Plaza returned to calm, the crimson sky receding like a tide.

Outside, dusk had fallen. Golden twilight filtered through the clouds.

"It's time to go," Fang Yang murmured, carrying the still-sleeping Tang Wulin out of the Heavenly Flame Orb's realm.

Back in the mortal world, he gently shook Tang Wulin's shoulder.

"Wulin… wake up. It's getting dark."

Tang Wulin's brows twitched. His consciousness slowly surfaced from deep slumber.

That sleep had felt endless—first agonizing pain, then a soothing warmth, like soaking in a healing spring.

"Where… am I?" he mumbled, blinking open his eyes.

"You're awake?" Fang Yang's voice came from beside him.

Tang Wulin blinked—then memory rushed back. His eyes widened.

"Fang Yang! Why did you knock me out?!"

"I was afraid you'd do something foolish in your grief," Fang Yang said, a faint smile playing on his lips.

Tang Wulin scratched his head, embarrassed. "I wouldn't have…"

"It's getting late," Fang Yang interrupted, glancing at the darkening sky.

Tang Wulin jolted. "Ah! I need to get home—Mom and Dad will be worried!"

He turned to leave—but Fang Yang called out: "Wulin, wait."

"Yeah?" Tang Wulin turned back, puzzled.

Fang Yang pulled the sealed crystal orb of the hundred-year Datura Snake soul spirit from his ring and handed it over.

"This is for you. It should help."

The orb shimmered in the sunset light. Tang Wulin recognized its value instantly.

His fingers trembled—but he didn't take it.

"Fang Yang… this is too precious. I can't accept it."

He shook his head stubbornly. "I'll just fuse that artificial Grass Snake spirit—it's more suited to me anyway…"

"I'm not giving it to you," Fang Yang said firmly, pressing it into his hands. "Consider it a loan. You're learning forging, right? Pay me back when you earn enough. And besides—someday I might want to learn forging too. You'll teach me, won't you?"

Tang Wulin clutched the orb, eyes glistening.

He took a deep breath and nodded solemnly.

"Fang Yang… I will repay you for this soul spirit. And when you want to learn forging—I'll teach you with everything I know!"

"Good," Fang Yang said with a nod. "I'm off now. You head home too."

He waved and vanished into the gathering dusk.

Tang Wulin stood in place, watching Fang Yang's silhouette fade into the golden twilight—his vision blurring with unshed tears.

In his darkest, loneliest hour…

Fang Yang had stood by him.

And now, had given him this priceless gift…

"I have nothing to repay him with… only my very self!"

Ahem—just kidding! Don't take that seriously!!!

As the sun set, two figures walked away in opposite directions—bathed in the same fading light.

But this time, Tang Wulin's steps were lighter than ever—his heart filled with hope he'd never known before.

When he finally reached home, Tang Ziran and Lang Yue were frantic with worry.

Thank goodness—he was safe…

As Tang Wulin pushed open the door, warm lamplight spilled out.

His parents had been waiting anxiously. Seeing him, their tense faces finally relaxed.

"Wulin!" Lang Yue rushed forward, gripping his shoulders, eyes watery. "Where did you run off to? Mom was terrified!"

Tang Ziran stood behind her, eyes heavy with guilt and tenderness.

In the hours since Tang Wulin had fled, he'd realized something deeply:

Blood or not—this boy was his son in every way that mattered.

His voice was hoarse as he spoke:

"Son… I'm sorry. Tomorrow, I'll get you a better soul spirit. I promise—"

Tang Wulin shook his head, beaming.

"Dad, it's okay. Look!"

He carefully pulled out the glowing crystal orb.

"Fang Yang gave me a hundred-year Datura Snake soul spirit. I'll pay him back once I start earning from forging."

Tang Ziran was stunned. He understood the immense value of such a spirit.

"That boy… Fang Yang…"

Lang Yue, watching her husband and son, clapped her hands cheerfully.

"Alright, alright! Enough talk—let's eat! Wulin must be starving. Mom made your favorite: braised pork ribs!"

"Really?" Tang Wulin's eyes lit up—and his stomach chose that moment to growl loudly.

The sound made all three of them laugh—softly, warmly, like a family finally at peace.
