Chapter 97 - [97] Shadows of Germa - The Vinsmoke Legacy

Five days later.

Ross's ship sailed on the sea.

Sunlight shimmered on the sea, and hundreds of snail-shaped boats slowly approached from afar. These monstrous vessels were enormous, each tens of meters long, and were dragged forward by an ugly yet gigantic snail.

The ship's hull was pitch black, like moving shadows, and a large black sail bearing the number "66" fluttered in the sea breeze.

"This is Germa 66? The evil organization that attempted to overthrow the entire North Blue three hundred years ago?"

Gion gazed at the densely packed snail-shaped boats, her eyes thoughtful, as if pondering how long it would take to destroy them all.

"Evil? Justice? They just lost."

"Three hundred years ago, they almost unified the North Blue, not because they were strong enough, but because the World Government needed them to exist. Their strength was not even comparable to the Rocks Pirates a decade or so ago."

Ross walked to her side and calmly stated:

"At that time, dozens of member states of the North Blue united in an attempt to refuse to pay the Heavenly Tribute and secretly establish the North Blue United Government. Because of this, Germa 66 was born with the support of the World Government."

"In just a few years, the North Blue United Government was easily destroyed by Germa 66, and its territory was also occupied by Germa 66."

"Later, Germa 66 felt that it was very strong and attempted to disobey the World Government's orders."

"So Germa 66 was destroyed?" Gion guessed.

"Clearly, Germa 66, which wiped out the member states, was destroyed by the righteous World Government, with only a few small fry escaping," Ross sneered.

There is no justice in this world, only interests and power.

Whoever is stronger is right.

If you want to promote true justice, you have to wait until you win.

"It's really pitiful. So the current Germa 66 is just a small organization founded by those orphans," Gion sighed.

"The current Germa 66 is an organization founded by Vinsmoke Judge, who is also a member of MADS and once worked with Vegapunk. Germa 66 relies on technology to strengthen itself, and its strength is quite considerable in the North Blue."

To be fair, Germa 66's strength is completely inadequate compared to the World Government and the New World, but in the weak North Blue, it can be considered a strong force.

The Four Seas are the world government's most firmly controlled sphere of influence, fundamentally preventing the emergence of powerful forces and individuals.

"Let's go, they've stopped. Take Vegapunk's body with us and see how much he can offer me for the future of Germa 66."

Looking at the snail-shaped ships that had all come to a complete stop, Ross took a step forward.

At that moment, the sea seemed to be controlled by some force, and the waves in front of the ship began to surge violently, as if they were being parted by an invisible hand, forming a deep and bottomless trench in the middle.

Above the trench, a strange and magnificent underwater skyway suddenly appeared, stretching from the ship at Ross's feet all the way to the distant main ship of Germa 66, like a bridge connecting the gods to the human world.

"Enemy attack!"

"Notice!"

Upon witnessing this bizarre man-made spectacle in the ocean, the crew of Germa 66 were thrown into a panic.

They had spent many years navigating this northern sea, witnessing countless storms, but had never seen anyone so casually carve out such a magnificent sea route? This was simply beyond their imagination.

Even the well-informed Judge looked extremely serious upon seeing Ross's move.

The last time he saw someone this strong was during a live stream in Ohara; only the Marine Admiral now known as 'Sakazuki' possessed such strength.

"Stay calm!"

Judge rebuked in a deep voice, his voice like thunder that resounded throughout the fleet, gradually calming the panicked crew.

He didn't know why Ross did this, but if Germa 66 panicked because of it, he would lose all face.

Amidst the astonished gazes of the crowd, Ross was the first to step onto the waterway. His steps were incredibly steady, and he exuded a powerful aura that was difficult to look directly at.

Stella and Gion followed closely behind, one on each side of him, their figures appearing incredibly majestic against the backdrop of the sea.

Behind them, four assistants dressed in World Government uniforms carried a solemn coffin, walking slowly at the very back.

The coffin contained the body of Vegapunk, the former scientific genius who could not find peace even in death, becoming a bargaining chip in Ross's hands.

The entire sea seemed to freeze in time at that moment, and everyone held their breath, watching this scene with awe for Ross.

"Is it a show of force, or just their usual way of making an entrance...?"

Judge narrowed his eyes slightly, trying to guess Ross's intentions.

He wasn't afraid at all, since he had already surrendered to Ross, and the other party had no reason to harm him.

However, Judge quickly put these thoughts aside, his eyes now fixed intently on the coffin.

Vegapunk.

Unexpectedly, the scientific genius they once revered was so easily killed by the World Government, who didn't even care about his body after death.

Indeed, if technology is not used to arm ourselves, then no matter how much research we do, it will be meaningless.

At this moment, Judge became even more determined to follow his path.

"Judge..."

A blonde beauty stood beside Judge, seemingly sensing her husband's change, and glanced at him with concern.

"I'm fine, get ready to receive it."

Judge said in a deep voice, without saying anything to his wife Sora. Some things were meaningless to say. Whether it was his wife, his children, or even himself, they should all sacrifice for the growth of Germa 66.

The hundred-meter road was covered in an instant, and Ross was less than ten meters away.

Judge knelt down on one knee first, and seeing her husband do so, Sora could only follow suit.

"Germa 66 welcomes Your Highness."

"Get up."

Ross's gaze casually swept over the two people kneeling on one knee.

[Vinsmoke Judge]

[Overall Rating: B+]

Judge was a tall, serious-looking middle-aged man wearing a metal helmet, with long golden hair. Judging from the aura emanating from his body, he was far below the B-level.

The B+ rating is mostly due to his past membership in MADS, coupled with the support of Germa 66 and his own scientific and technological expertise.

After just one glance, Ross set his sights on Sora.

[Vinsmoke Sora]

[Overall Rating: E+]

Sora's long golden hair danced lightly in the wind, her bangs partially obscuring her eyes, and her light blue eyes shone with a gentle and maternal glow.

She had delicate features, fair skin, and a gentle, warm smile. Her kneeling posture accentuated her shapely figure, and her ample bosom, equally impressive, was outlined in the swaying of her long dress, captivating all who looked at her.

Ross likes blondes, and he especially likes blonde beauties with a certain charm.
