"Is this Rōran? It's… incredible."
After two days of travel, Yagami and the others once again entered the territory of the Land of Wind.
Without exception, Kushina—seeing Rōran for the first time—was completely stunned by the sight.
"Let's move," Yagami said to the three of them, stepping forward first. "Finish the mission as soon as possible and leave this place early."
With the Third Shinobi World War looming on the horizon, staying too long within the Land of Wind's borders was far from a wise decision.
This place was going to become anything but peaceful.
"What… what the hell happened here?!"
The moment the four of them entered deeper into Rōran, Kushina was shocked all over again.
Before entering the city, she had been overwhelmed by its magnificent buildings.
But now, what stretched out before her eyes was nothing short of a post-apocalyptic ruin.
The contrast hit hard.
"This is the damage left behind from the last battle between our captain and Mukade," Tekuno said casually from the side, clearly bored. "See that massive trench? The one that looks like the land itself was cleaved apart?"
He pointed ahead with his chin.
"That was cut open by our captain with a single slash."
Kakashi nodded solemnly.
Even now, seeing that trench again made his heart tremble faintly.
The slash that split the giant puppet in two had been etched deeply into his mind.
Over the past few days, every time he trained, he would subconsciously recall that strike—using it as motivation to push himself even harder.
"You caused… all of this?!"
Kushina turned her head sharply toward Yagami, disbelief written all over her face.
She had already thought it was absurdly impressive that he could fight the Uchiha clan to a standstill.
But this?
This was on a completely different level.
"How about it?" Yagami said with a small grin. "Pretty impressive, right?"
Seeing Kushina's stunned expression, he couldn't help feeling a faint sense of pride.
He wasn't the type to show off—but honestly, watching people marvel at his strength was pretty satisfying.
The four continued forward, soon arriving at the central tower.
Inside, they found Queen Sara hard at work.
In just a few short days, Sara seemed to have changed noticeably.
The girl who once felt like the cheerful neighbor next door now carried the air of a fledgling ruler.
Rough around the edges—but undeniably stronger.
Perhaps going through everything she had experienced had forced her to mature.
"Lord Yagami!"
Sensing someone approaching, Sara lifted her head—and immediately spotted Yagami and the others.
"How are you holding up?" Yagami asked with a smile.
The weight of ruling was clearly heavy. Sara's face looked tired.
"I never realized how many things a queen had to handle," she admitted with a wry smile. "Back then… I really was nothing more than a puppet."
Yet within that smile, there was hope.
Because now, she truly was no one's puppet anymore.
She could finally act for the sake of her people—just like her mother once had.
"Things will get better," Yagami said gently.
Then he took out a letter bearing the seal of the Land of Fire and handed it to her.
"—!"
Sara's eyes widened as she read it.
"The Fire Daimyō… agreed?!"
During the days of waiting, she had been constantly worried about rejection.
Seeing the official approval at last, the tension she'd been holding finally eased.
"If possible, you should leave as soon as you can," Yagami said seriously. "The Land of Wind won't remain calm much longer."
"Lord Yagami—"
"We've been ready for a long time!"
"We've been waiting for the Fire Country's reply!"
Laughter echoed from outside the room.
The ministers of Rōran entered the central tower one after another.
"You're all ready already?" Yagami turned, surprised.
"Yes," one of the elders replied with a smile. "As long as Her Majesty gives the order, we can depart immediately."
The elderly man who had posted the mission earlier stepped forward as well, smiling warmly.
"In that case…" Yagami nodded and turned to Sara. "Please give the order, Your Majesty. We can escort you part of the way."
Sara hesitated briefly, then looked toward her ministers.
"What do the elders think?"
"Your Majesty, everything is prepared."
"Yes, Your Majesty. The people are ready at any time."
The ministers bowed in unison.
They had been waiting—for this moment.
"Alright," Sara said firmly. "Then spread the word. Have everyone gather immediately."
"We're going to our new home."
"Your Majesty!"
The ministers bowed once more before hurrying off to carry out her command.
"In that case," Yagami said, turning back toward Kushina and the others, "let's go seal the Ryūmyaku first. We'll meet again later."
Since Kakashi and Tekuno had already been to the Ryūmyaku's location, there was no need for Sara to guide them.
Soon, the group arrived deep beneath Rōran.
"So this is Rōran's Ryūmyaku…" Kushina murmured, staring down in awe. "It's enormous."
Beneath the altar, chakra flowed like molten magma—vast, dense, and overwhelming.
"Can you handle the seal?" Yagami asked with a smile.
"Of course," Kushina replied confidently, lifting her chin. "Sealing is my specialty."
She stepped onto the altar.
Her hands moved swiftly, seals forming one after another in a smooth, practiced rhythm.
Then...
She slammed her palm down onto the spring of the Ryūmyaku.
Golden sealing patterns burst forth, spreading in all directions as the space itself hummed.
The Ryūmyaku's chakra began to wither rapidly, fading like a dying flame.
Moments later, it dried up completely—vanishing without a trace.
"It's done," Kushina said proudly as she hopped down from the altar. "No one can open it again except me."
…You're really confident.
Do you have any idea that your future daughter is going to time-travel because of this thing?
Yagami sighed inwardly, glancing at her smug expression.
