Two days passed in the blink of an eye.
With no active missions to attend to, Yagami temporarily slipped into an idle routine.
The rumors about his clash with the Uchiha clan had already died down over the past few days.
There was no longer any need for him to wander around the village deliberately collecting prestige points.

By the time Yagami arrived at the Hokage's office, Hiruzen Sarutobi was already waiting.
However, there was someone else present—someone who made Yagami pause slightly.
Uzumaki Kushina.
He had only seen her two days ago.
"Mm, you're here."
Hiruzen didn't waste time on pleasantries.
"I need you to go to Rōran again."
"…Eh?"
Yagami blinked, clearly surprised.
"Wasn't the Rōran mission already completed? Did something happen?"
"There's been no change," Hiruzen replied calmly.
"There are two main reasons for this assignment."
"First—Rōran's request to relocate into the Land of Fire has been approved. The daimyo has agreed. You'll need to deliver his response personally to Queen Sāra."
"Second, I intend to send Kushina along. She is the most proficient sealing-technique user in the village, and this time, she will seal the Ryūmyaku herself. You'll accompany her."
As Hiruzen explained, Yagami finally understood.
In truth, there was another reason the Third Hokage didn't say aloud.
Kushina's status was special.
Sending her out without strong protection would be reckless.
And so, Yagami's real task was clear—escort and protect her.
"I see. That makes sense."
Yagami nodded after Hiruzen finished speaking, then glanced at Kushina beside him.
So in the end… the responsibility of sealing the Ryūmyaku had fallen to her.
"You'll need to bring this letter to Queen Sāra."
Hiruzen handed him a sealed document.
"Understood. If that's all, we'll start preparing."
"Wait—there's one more thing."
Just as Yagami turned to leave, Hiruzen stopped him.
"This time, when you head to Rōran, you must be cautious. Sunagakure's Third Kazekage has gone missing. The village is currently searching for him."
"What… the Third Kazekage is missing?"
Yagami's eyes widened instantly.
As a Reincarnator.
As a Naruto fan.
He knew exactly what that meant.
The disappearance of the Third Kazekage was one of the earliest warning signs of the Third Shinobi World War.
"…Why do you look like that?" Hiruzen asked, narrowing his eyes slightly. "Do you know something?"
"Ah—no."
Realizing his reaction had been too strong, Yagami quickly corrected himself.
"I just think… the disappearance of a village's Kage is shocking, that's all."
Hiruzen studied him for a moment, suspicion flickering in his gaze.
Yagami had already come into contact with events that hadn't yet unfolded. It wouldn't be strange if he knew more than he let on.
But since Yagami didn't say anything further, the Third Hokage didn't press the issue.
Knowing too much about things that hadn't yet occurred wasn't necessarily a good thing.
After leaving the Hokage Tower, Yagami parted ways with Kushina.
He still needed to inform Kakashi and Tekuno, and also take the time to say goodbye to Mikoto.
As for Kushina—she would need to make her own preparations for the journey ahead.
