After Grand Elder's legs finally recovered, he followed Yagami into the house.
The other Uchiha clansmen were instructed to wait outside.
"Because of the reckless behavior of the young Uchiha you fought," the Grand Elder said, walking into the yard, "a considerable stir was caused in Konoha. I hope my apology will calm things down."
Before Yagami could even respond, the Grand Elder bowed deeply.
"Eh— no, no, there's no need for that!"
Yagami hurried forward and helped him up.
He didn't feel wronged at all — if anything, he had gained prestige from the incident. As long as the Uchiha elders apologized sincerely, the matter didn't need to spread further.
"Please sit, Elder."
The Grand Elder let out a small breath of relief as he took a seat.

"Where is the Grand Elder?" Fugaku asked upon arriving.
He found Grand Elder's guards… but not Grand Elder himself.
"Vice-Captain Fugaku!"
"Vice-Captain!"
The guards saluted.
"The Grand Elder is inside," one of them explained. "He's been in for quite a while…"
"He went in alone?" Fugaku frowned, displeasure showing on his face.
All of Grand Elder's guards were standing out here.
"Yes… he told us not to follow him," the guard added quickly, noticing Fugaku's expression.
Fugaku let out a helpless sigh.
The Grand Elder going alone to another man's house — especially after recent events — made Fugaku uneasy.
He didn't know they were inside chatting about completely unrelated topics by now.
Time passed…
Inside, the Grand Elder found himself pleasantly surprised.
Not only was Yagami powerful, he was also calm, polite, and articulate — nothing like a typical youth.
Grand Elder couldn't help comparing him to the current young members of the Uchiha.
In truth… not a single one could compare.
And despite his age, Grand Elder's mind was still sharp.
A bold idea suddenly formed.
"That's right… young Yagami," he said with a brightening expression, "are you perhaps in a relationship?"
